The terrace was amazing, rooms were clean and receptionists were very, very helpful. Around 8 min to Ercolano Scavia train station. 20 min to the closest beach. Good base for the travels around.

- The view through the window wasn’t like the one presented in the hotel description. - At the beginning safe wasn’t there. For a request the hotel staff brought it but it was broken 😅 - If you need to go somewhere before breakfast time, of course inform on the reception but most probably you will get only coffee (very tasty!) with things like cake or biscuit.

Location ideal. Room good. Great breakfast. Very helpful English speaking staff organised many things for me including a wonderful Amalfi boat trip at short notice and safely stored my luggage on the last day when I visited Herculaneum across the road.

Minor gripes: The balcony and poor furniture - stools for sitting out were very disappointing. Air-conditioning good. The shower head (and another room's) were broken. Mine was fixed almost immediately after I had reported the problem to reception but the very next day, it was returned to its broken state. Sounds like they have a limited number of good ones they switch. Didn't like dragging my heavy case up the many flights of stairs whilst trying to keep up with the concierge. Turned out there is a lift from the first floor to the second. Didn't like the metal staircase external to the building. Couldn't see an alternative fire escape route.

Great location with Herculaneum archaeological site just across the road. The site was more enjoyable for us than Pompeii with two young children being a smaller site and more preserved. Other attractions nearby...the "Golden Mile" of Villas and Reggio Portici palace and botanical gardens. Two train stations within easy reach. We used the vesuvio express which leaves from near Ercolano train station to reach mount Vesuvius (great experience) The staff of the hotel were very friendly. Good range of food available for breakfast. Nice communal terrace.

It was a little noisy at night but was expected being so close to the high streets.

Ideal place to stay for visiting the historical site which is directly across the road. The room was comfortable and the added bonus was having a private balcony. The hotel also has a terrace in which you can use to chill out. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any of our queries. In particularly the young gentleman who worked the reception desk who directed us to the parking facility. The parking facility was also very convenient and reasonably priced. The staff at the breakfast buffet and cleaning staff were also very friendly.

Location was fantastic. It was a nice spot for a quick one night stay we came in the late afternoon and were able to see ruins before they closed and get up and head to Pompeii the next morning. There was a great pizza place in a basement near by

Beds were very firm. Not necessary a negative for everyone just good to know. Parking area was VERY narrow to get to - alley to tight turn. We had a large vehicle and it was damaged getting it out. We would have preferred to just be told to park else where when we asked if we would fit and were told we would be ok.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful and most spoke English. The bed was comfortable , the shower great, a good selection for breakfast, though sadly no fruit. We could order tea and coffee to have on the terrace in the afternoon. The location is perfect for Herculaneum which is definitely worth a visit (we had the tour with an archeologist).

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a good size. Lots of restaurants right next to the hotel to eat at. Good breakfast in the mornings, basic choices like pastries, salami and ham, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal, yoghurt and some jams. Amazing coffee! Public transport to main destinations like Naples and Sorrento are only a few minutes walk away. We traveled with my 7 month old and asked for a cot from the hotel, they confirmed it at the time of reservation and also double checked before our arrival. Overall great experience :)

A few more healthier breakfast options would be great.

The main reason for choosing this hotel was location. We came to Naples to see Herculaneum. This hotel is literally right across (a small) road to the heritage site - 1 minute walk to the gate. It was well-priced, very convenient and whilst I was expecting the room to be simple - there was a nice common area. Restaurants are in walking distance, and we ate well.

Public transport can take a while to get there, and taxi's are a bit on the pricey side. To get to Naples or the airport, expect to pay around 40 - 60 Euros. Also, recommend you walk up the stairs, rather than take the lift.

The location is excellent for the Herculaneum. If we had family/friends visiting there I would suggest the hotel on location alone. Breakfast was good and the ladies in the kitchen area were very accommodating. The hotel has its own terrace area which was fantastic. We spent a couple of evenings hanging out there and ordered pizza from the most amazing restaurant across the road.

The owner and his lovely wife took excellent care to help us to make sure we found the best sites of interest, restaurants, and bus stops. The motel was just steps away from the bus stop where we arrived. The owner spoke English well. We plan to visit Minori again just to stay here!

Can’t think of a thing. Some visitors may dislike how quiet Minori is, but we loved it. Many places to visit are just a bus ride away.
