Martina and her mom are warm and cheerful people. They helped us with good tips on good places to visit and eat. The location is really close to the Ercolano excavation site. The train station is about 1 km away where you can directly visit Pompeii. They gave us a simple but 'sweet' breakfast which was great when we had to leave really early. The room was clean and had blinds. Above all we really loved the two other residents we met there. The cities Ercalano and Naples are not for everybody. But I would recommend Anthea B&B for anyone who wants to find a homely place in a strange city.

Lemon tree and palm in front my balcony. Good view for Vesuvius. Definitely I love family, they care a lot about guests. You can use living room to eat and relax, you can also use kitchen where you can wash dishes, put something in fridge or even to use microwave, to make tea or coffee. Mostly I was travelling around so I didn't spend long time in room, but everytime I rest in room. I love that you can eat or drink aomething on the terrace between flowers

Loud toilet and doors

Great B&B, full of flowers, located very near to the Ercolano archéological site and 15 min walking from the Portici-Ercolano train station (there is a direct link with Napoli centrale station). Thé owner are very nice and easy to contact. It is perfectly clean with only 2 rooms and individual bathroom. And thé last, not thé least, it is possible to sort your waste with différent bins and they recently installed Solar panels to use less gas..congratulation

We felt comfortable in Anthea B&B. We appreciate the parking, which was safe and within private gates.

Martina and her mother were very friendly and inviting. Martina provided us with a map of many local restaurants and attractions. They were available to answer any questions we had. Having a near by beach to walk to and see the sunset was an added bonus. Would definitely book this location again.

Because we did not have a car, we had to walk to the local train stations.

Martina was a great host. The house was in good walking distance to Herculaneum and provided easy access to both Naples and Pompeii via car

Was hoping to be closer to a beach.

The hospitality of the hosts were unparalleled. Helpful, caring, communicative and prompt to respond to any requests. Helpful with sites to see around the area and how to get to trains and restaurants. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and a really nice bathroom. Elaborate breakfast, great kitchen facilities and I really appreciated the secure gated parking facility! Loved everything about this place.

I can't think of anything at all that I didn't like

This location was a bit difficult to find because we didn't have GPS and my phone didn't work fast enough; however, we asked at a gas station and the man gave us better directions. One had to drive down two very narrow roads to get to Anthea. The place was outstanding. Enough on site parking for 3 or more cars, very close to the sea but couldn't see much due to gardens and other businesses. The owner and daughter were wonderful. Very helpful directing us to the town and ruins by foot (about 1.5 miles, if that). The room was very clean, the bathroom was next door but it was private for us only and it was huge. The breakfast was really upscale for Italy ... lots of cakes, beverages, and one could use some of the kitchen if needed. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked very well!!!

Great friendly welcome and fabulous help/advice during stay. So spotlessly clean & comfortable with excellent plentiful breakfast (especially for those with a sweet tooth!). Shared kitchen with fridge & coffee maker really useful. Very good value too.

Although an excellent location for several popular tourist sights and Naples city centre (and secure parking is available), the surrounding area can seem a bit grim at first - but is typically neopolitan and added to the experience. A kettle for tea making would have been good but I know the ladies would have supplied in an instant if I had asked at the time - they were exceptional with the care of their guests.

The B&B was nice and clean, within walking distance to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the host was very helpful and respectful.
