Travelled with friends. Andrea was waiting for us in the street to show us where to park (for free). The house has so much character and shows the love Andrea is constantly putting into preserving and restoring the building. Location was excellent as it is a short walk to the historic centre. The rooms are on the first floor but Andrea kindly carried our luggage (so the only problem would be if you have mobility issues) and all arranged around a communal sitting room area, that is only for the guests as Andrea's quarters are on the same floor but separated. The rooms we had (SE and N) were large and clean, with a lovely small balcony with a suggestive partial view of the sea and the old town. I particularly liked the fact that all rooms had an ensuite bathroom, modern yet preserving the style. Breakfast was more than I expected, with various fresh fruits, cheeses and cold cuts. And of course, as other have mentioned, a warm croissant. Andrea was the type of host I like, there if you need but not intrusive, always available to give you information about Gallipoli, whether is about the history or a place where to dine/drink. I normally prefer making my own research but as we were at the end of our trip I was too tired to make an effort and I conceded in following his tips; I must say that with us worked very well. Thanks Andrea for making the end of the trip memorable. If you're looking for a bed&breakfast–type place to stay, I definitely recommend it.

Absolutely nothing wrong about it in my opinion. Once the whole building is fully restored this place could easily be classified as exceptional.

I'm so glad to have booked this from the minute we met Andrea at the door we felt so welcomed it was like we known each other for years! A very authentic place to stay from the beautiful tiled floor to the alfrescos on the breakfast room ceiling Comfortable beds and a beautiful on suite. I will be booking ylthis again and taking my family excellent 👌

Very nice, spacious, clean apartment. Beautiful house, very good location, a kind and very helpful host Andrea. Andrea even helped me to find a doctor and helped with translation. I would come again.

Very friendly and helpful owner. He helped us with parking and also booking a dinner for the same night in a nice restaurant. Location is great, walking distance to everything. Breakfast was delicious as well.

Superb hospitality in an historical palace just outside the old city which I recommend for an easier parking top. Very quiet at night. The breakfast was excellent with local pastries and products served in a very elegant dining room.

We loved our stay here. The B&B is in an awesome location right on the edge of the old town so was easy to park for free. Andrea was a great host and gave us a lot of information and a great dinner recommendation. The room was huge and the B&B has a very interesting family history.

Great large room with balcony looking onto the old town castle and harbour. Location excellent. The host Andrea recommended several restaurants which were fantastic. Also took us to a local bar/cafe and introduced us to Cafe Leccese, which we had every day since.

Wonderful location, big spacious bedroom with beautiful decor, and a lovely breakfast. But best of all the owner who was so kind and helpful to me while I tried to navigate my way around Puglia solo. I will not forget his kindness and attentiveness - thank you!

The staff and location. The accommodation was an old palace with very nice decor. As well, the breakfast was so good.

Place is located at border of old town. Room we had was spacious with balcony. Host, Andrea, is great and caring person who keeps place nice and cozy.
