There are many things to love about staying at Palazzo Gallo, but what stands out is how wonderful, helpful and attentive the staff were. Mattia’s very helpful suggestions and recommendations made our holiday in Gallipoli a truly wonderful experience. It was our first time visiting the area and having such helpful knowledge from Mattia made a big difference. He very kindly helped us with reservations and transport as well, and did all he could to make our stay great. The palazzo has a perfect location in the old town. Its in walking distance to all the sights and restaurants in Gallipoli. It’s a beautiful building, with well decorated and appointed rooms. The palazzo is beautiful but also very relaxed and quiet. We had a beautiful terrace as part of our room, from which you can get a peek of the sea. The room was lovely and very well maintained while we were there. The breakfasts were varied, plentiful and lovely. We loved our stay there and our introduction to Gallipoli and hope to return soon!

Mattia handled the car parking situation very professionally for us by reserving a free space in the harbour parking lot and ferrying us with our baggage in his car to the hotel and on departure back to our car. Our roof-top room was extremely quiet, though in the middle of the Old Town; it was spacious, attractive and had a large well-furnished terrace with 360 degree views of other roofs and the sea. Breakfast had a different and tasty selection each day. Mattia was the perfect host, helping us in all sorts of ways and full of information, he couldn't do enough for us.

We had a wonderful time at the palazzo. The whole palazzo was amazing with its own distinct atmosphere, beautiful decorated rooms in baroque style, great entrance hall, breakfast room and roof terrace, The breakfast was amazing with all kind of different food, very delicious and too much to try all the different things, The room and bathroom are big and luxury and designed in the style of the palace. The staff was amazing, Mattia was an excellent host very kind and helpful with lots of good recommendations and he even managed to arrange a free parking spot for us. He also showed us the olive mill beneath the palace. Perfect place with great staff!

Incredible experience in a beautiful location. The Palazzo is right in the middle of the old town of Gallipoli. The room was super clean and the breakfast unreal. Mattia helped us in dropping the car and picking it up the day after. He manages the hotel in the best way possible offering top class service to the clients. The owner of the hotel should really keep Mattia in high consideration for what he does and for the way he treats clients.

Mattia, who took care of everything ,was very polite, and helpful, took our lagguage into his car and took it to the hotel, because the hotel is in the area where the traffic is limited. The location of the hotel is in the center of the old town of Gallipoli. The room is very big and spacious, the furniture is very beatiful. The posibitity of using a huge terrace on the top of the house, due to bad weather couldn't enjoy it. The breakfast was rich and delicious.

Location was amazing. Close to the Main Street and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Parking is not available as the streets are so narrow however Mattia blocked us a free car parking space a short walk away. This service was above and beyond what we would expect, Mattia was so helpful and accommodating. The room was beautiful with an amazing view from the terrace. Would definitely return again.

The hotel is amazing,decorated with every single detail. It is in the town, very close of everything: restaurants, shops and beach. The staff has been very nice and kind specially Mattia who helped us every moment and provided us a lot information about the area

Palazzo Gallo is a perfect place for a vacation week. Location, decoration, rooms, comfort, ... everything is made with taste and care in this outstanding palace built in the 15th century in one of the charming street of Gallipoli. But all this is nothing compared to the perfect advises given by the kind Mattia - manager of the palace and native of the area - all along the duration of your stay, for any activity, restaurant or beach you would like to experiment in Gallipoli or the Puglia region. Simply exceptionnal: Rooms, beaches, water temperature, quality of the restaurants, ... everything is 10/10.

Fantastic location and great value for money. Mattia who welcomed us was incredibly helpful, the included breakfast was wonderful and the rooms are even better than the photos. Impeccably clean and spacious. We will be back!
