We loved the architectural style, the way the rooms are designed in the minimalist way. It’s an exceptionally beautiful old building. The host is very helpful in giving advice for nature hikes near Gallipoli, as well as ideas for great restaurants.

The pillows are of a foam material we are not used to. Next time we will request a room facing the interior, not the main street, as it can be a bit loud at night. We were kindly offered to switch.

The location was very good, the interior of the hotel was beautiful. Friendly welcoming and overall, I would say the value was very high, and I'd recommend anyone to stay here.

On the last day, we honestly had a weird and uncomfortable situation with some staff. A breakfast accident (and some lack of communication) had some staff members rolling their eyes and loudly complaining at us, which felt both unprofessional and uncomfortable, especially since the accident wasn't our fault. It had a bit of bitter ending to an overall fantastic stay.

Clean, attractive decor in spacious room and bath. Central location in historic area with parking close by. Very comfortable bed.

Directly across from very loud church bells. Inconvenient trek of luggage from even the closest temporary parking. No elevator and steep lengthy stairs to the main entry. No breakfast or lounge area.

The room is located in the heart of Gallipoli, on a very beautiful and very well maintained old building. Very clean, beautifully decorated and quite spacious room for two people! Rich breakfast with fresh fruits, coffee and a selection of local pastries, very friendly and kind staff!

The glass door in the bathroom is a nice design idea, but not for friends traveling together.

Beautiful room in a historic building. Just in the centre of Gallipoli, spacious room and bathroom, beautiful decoration. The interiour was really lovely. Also the breakfast was great! Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and main historic sites in Gallipoli

Parking is rather problematic. You can drive in the peninsula to pack out your luggage, than you have to drive out to find a parking place. Until you load out your luggage and take them to the hotel (120 metres away in the pedestrian street) someone better stays at the car, because police might punish you.

Beautiful well located place, spacious rooms, close to the beach and lot of gastronomy options, also the staff were very nice all the time with suggestions about restaurants and places, breakfast was also very good with fresh fruits and great coffee

Superb location, right in the centre of the old town but still private and secluded. Reception and breakfast area are all gorgeous. Bedroom was great, very comfortable and clean and the AC worked perfectly. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. The staff were wonderful too. We stayed in 5 different areas around Puglia and this was our favourite by far.

The breakfast was good but some small changes would make it much better. There was no menu and the waitress just told us what was available and we let her know what we wanted. A buffet style would have been a lot more convenient so you can see everything available and choose it yourself.

We lacked some basic comfort amenities - like glasses in the room.

We loved our stay at Palazzo Balsamo, it’s in such a beautiful historic building and the rooms are lovely. The bed was comfy, the staff were really friendly & helpful. We would highly recommend staying here when visiting Gallipoli.

The location was excellent, close to the beach and restaurants. If looking for a relaxing stay with 10am starts to the day, this place may not me for you, as it was noisy in the mornings. Elaria who looked after us at breakfast was a gem, thank you Elaria!
