Charming family hotel that actually looks far better in reality than most of the pictures have you believe. Tastefully decorated in a minimalist kind of way and extremely clean and well looked after.  Spacious junior suite with separate seating area (very supportive seats for tall people) and shutters in front of the windows everywhere, offering protection against the heat during daytime and making for a dark room at night. Bed is firm but not uncomfortable. Effective airco. Stocked fridge and coffee amenities. Cleverly installed outside elevator (the building was obviously originally designed without) that gives direct access to any floor via the covered outside walkways/balconies. Panoramic garden view with the lake visible in the distance.  Restaurants and city centre within walking distance (no need for the car once you have arrived). Convenient parking in front. Fast charger about a mile down the road. Gravedona is a small but charming place. Ideal for lakeside walking and dolce far niente. The hotel has a bar, also offering small snacks in case you are too lazy to go for lunch. Very good value and a level above the average hotel in a tourist destination. The family touch is obvious. And in case of a late arrival, they send you a video with instructions allowing you to retrieve your key card from a locked box. To put it in car terms, it is not an Audi; it is a Lancia (a proper one!). Worth a return visit !! 

We stayed in a junior suite, so had a beautiful balcony and views over the rooftops, the lake and the pool. It’s was beautiful! Spotlessly clean with plenty of space. Great garden area with seating, sun loungers and pool. Was never too busy either. Our hosts were so lovely - very friendly and welcoming. Good continental breakfast too. And the location is great. Just a two minute leisurely walk from the lake and ferry stop up a small hill. Nothing strenuous at all. And plenty of places to eat, get a drink or a gelato in the area. Gravedona is very picturesque and chilled out.

Was hoping to have dinner there, but the restaurant wasn’t open in the evenings during our stay. But we had plenty of options to choose from a short walk away.

The property is situated 50m from the hub of Gravedona (A beautifully authentic town that’s not overly busy). With the property, the personnel are exceptional and we loved staying at the hotel. There are a number of nice restaurants in town and a great Gellato shop too. Breakfast is amazing! The pool is always beautiful! You have great parking. We unfortunately lost our key to one of our rooms, this was not an issue and their team assisted us through the process. Which we were grateful for. (Apologies again from our side) We’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

Hotel Lauro in Gravedona ed Uniti is a great place to visit the Como lake from. The hotel has free, private parking and a swimming pool. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and they serve a good breakfast. The rooms come with airconditioning and a little fridge. And our room had a balcony with amazing views of the lake. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from the lake and a bunch of small, affordable restaurants, ice cream shops and a supermarket. The city of Gravedona is small, but has a lot of charm. Also there is a little beach where you can take a swim in the beautiful lake from (10min walk from the hotel). Gravedona has a ferryboat connection to many other cities surrounding the Como. All in all, my partner and I (they are very gay friendly btw) had a great stay and are looking forward to coming back to Hotel Lauro and the beauty of Lago di Como!

The hotel is ideally situated with stunning views of Lake Como, providing the perfect base for exploring the charming town of Gravedona ed Uniti and nearby attractions. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible breakfast spread. The selection was diverse, featuring an array of fresh fruits, pastries, and delicious local specialties. The quality and taste of the food were simply amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel's location made it easy for us to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Hotel Lauro is a true gem in a beautiful setting.

Location is great and the city itself is so amazing and quiet! The 3 ladies running the place is absolutely amazing and the nicest Italians you will ever come across. Definitely coming back!

Very nice hotel with private parking and a swimming pool in the courtyard. The host was very kind and explained everything. The room is tidy, there is a kettle and tea. Very close to the centre, so it's very convenient to walk along the lakeside and go for dinner

Very poor Wi-Fi and loud air conditioning, making it difficult to get to sleep.

The staff was very nice, the breakfast really good and 2 min away from the lake, 10 min walk from the next beach and it had a really nice little pool area.

The wifi was quite bad, which is ok considering you go on holidays to slow down and take a break. A Bit disappointing that there was no drinks allowed at the pool.

I am so happy I chose this hotel, it is in a wonderful location, just a 5 minute stroll to the lake. Gravedona is beautiful and quiet, ideal for a relaxing time, but still only a ferry ride from all the main tourist sites. The rooms were excellent, the staff were excellent and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The price was very good, plus they have free parking. I will definitely stay again!!!

Nice hotel with a great, calm location in Gravedona. We really enjoyed our stay thanks to the kindness of the staff. The breakfast was good and the swimming pool was definitely a plus ! If we come back to Gravedona, we will stay there again !
