The location is simply amazing. The lake was just right outside the cafe. we had a great time enjoyed beers and walked around the area. Since it was October off season we could park the cart just right in front of our room as well and only paid for 3 hours since it’s free from 20:00 to 08:00. The staff was super friendly and helpful mentioned everything you need to know. I will definitely come back here again if I'm coming to Como.

The only thing I didnt like about was the entrance from the main road. it’s on a slight hill and the main road is on a curve plus there was no curved mirror thingy to see the incoming traffic from both sides. Just wanted to mention this in case even though this is not relevant to the stay but something to be Improved.

The location here is everything. You’ll be situated ON the beach of a beautiful lake that is 146 square kilometers. The water are fresh and lovely to swim in in July – not at all too cold. It’s not over crowded and not over touristy. The access to all the beaches is free. The hostel staff is lovely and they would truly help you with any need you might have. The ground floor of the hostel is a restaurant and a bar, which is a lot of fun. It may be the nest restaurant around. The rooms are simple and tidy.

The only room for improvement is the lack of AC. The staff was kind enough to move me to a low bunk and give me “a private” fan, so I won’t perish overnight. It’s 2025, we have global warming, AC is no matter of choice. Other than that – great place!

We stayed here for two nights and really didn’t want to leave. The room had a huge balcony with an amazing view over the lake. We weren’t expecting so much private outdoor space to ourselves. The room was huge, plenty of space and really clean. The staff were always friendly and appeared to love being there. Loved the DJ set on the first night. The cafe/restaurant served a good variety of food and drinks, with an enjoyable terrace space, great vibes and great value good coffee. Great location at the quieter end of the lake easy enough for daytriping to the busier places.

Not even a complaint, but the room was basic. Exactly everything you needed but nothing more - unsurprising with the price I paid.

The hostel is beautifully located directly on the lake, with a great bar/restaurant on the ground floor that looks out onto the beach. The rooms are nice and clean, and towels are provided. Around Domaso all of the essentials are available, and small festivals, are exhibits, and live music happenings are constantly organized throughout the summer. Would highly recommend for a beautiful, relaxing stay on Como!

Do be aware that there is no real kitchen available for use by the guests - a fridge, microwave, and kettle are provided but not much more.

The hostel is really direct by the Como lake. They have a restaurant (also for externals) where you can also get breakfast and other stuff. It was clean, they had all bed sheets and blankets. Internet worked well.

We had one of the ground floor rooms on the back. It was a little loud during the evening from the common areas. It was a pitty that you cannot really cook in this hostel. No real kitchen, only a very small, unwelcominh common room upstairs. There is a table, a microwave, fridge and water boiler, but that's it (see photo). Of course they want you to order their meals...

We stayed for 3 nights and property met out expectations. Good value for money. Hostel located on the bank of Como lake and Domaso town has good bus connection to other towns and even some ferry options. Restaurant on the first flor is nice with moderate price and quite good food and nice vibe overall. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

I don't remember having foot towel and toiletries (at least shower gel) in the bathroom and room looks a bit empty

The location is suberb considering the price, You have the beautiful beach promenade just next to the house. The rooms are very tidy with clean toilets. Staff is friendly, the restaurant downstairs is cosy.

There is no proper place to cook your own food, as far as I observed. You can put your food in a fridge at least.

Easy to find. Check in was smooth. Location by the lake was beautiful. Room was simple, but rather clean. Lots of parking space outside.

Extremely great place to stay, very nice bar&restaurant directly at the lake. Friendly people, safe place to leave bike or other sports equipment. Nice bathroom accessible directly from sleeping dorm. Fans running to make temperatures acceptable. :-) Enjoyed the place a lot - would come back any time!

No kitchen or fridge, but that's according to the description, and really fair prices for everything in the bar downstairs.

the view was breathtaking and the staffs were very very friendlyyy. it was worth the price and ferry ride from varenna. would recommend to go during summer so you can play the activities there (kayak etc) but winter is also nice since you get to see the snowy mountains. totally recommend the room with lake view. staffs were super super niceee they literally helped us out a lot! a 10/10 experienceee. if i were to pick the best part of my trip to italy, this one would be the one. also there is one halal shop nearby (10 mins walk)
