Spacious room. Good air con when needed. Our hosts were excellent - Ricardo gave us great tips on places to eat and drink, and Vanya was great with breakfast. Breakfast was simple but complete, and included Vanya's home made pastries and jams. Location is superb, just inside the city walls.

B&B La Mura is a collection of a few apartments in a nice, clean, renovated, historic building in the Center of Grosseto on the Piazza del Mercato. There's plenty of near-by parking (we were even able to park for free because we visited during the Ferragosto holiday period). There is easy access to the medieval walls of Grosseto and it's very near to the heart of the city - Piazza Dante - and the main shopping street - Corso Garibaldi. The apartments are all clean and renovated - bathrooms are all brand new. We had a room with a nice balcony. The Air Conditioning was greatly appreciated in the middle of August, and worked well. Ricardo, the owner, gave us a whole bunch of restaurant recommendations in town and helped us plan some day trips. We tried one, "L'uva e il malto", which I would highly recommend, if you like fresh seafood. The lady who serves breakfast (embarassingly I can't remember her name) was very nice and breakfast was good. She even gave us extra beach towels to use for the day. Grosseto was a great hub to access the beautiful beaches and coastal towns of the area. Only 20 minutes to Castiglione della Pescaia, Talamone, and the Maremma national park and about 30 minutes to Monte Argentario.

Our room had a private bathroom, but it was outside the sleeping area of the room. You need to go into the hallway to access the bathroom. In fact, this is the only reason I couldn't rate the hotel a 10. There are, however, other rooms in the hotel that do have bathrooms inside the room. Also, the balcony could use a small table and chairs.

excellent location, free parking about 5 min walking distance. stylish accommodation, top rated outfit, excellent bed and bathroom facilities. good breakfast in the beautiful living room annex kitchen. restaurants right on the doorstep of the B&B. the location of the B&B at/inside the wall of the historic city is unique!

you need to carry your bagage 2 stairs up, there is no elevator.

The location right inside the Centro Storico's walls is easy to access and right where we wanted to be. The host was helpful in getting us into the B & B and helped direct us to appropriate parking nearby. The city piazza view from the shared space is especially delightful in the morning when you emerge from your room for their abundant breakfast. Our room was large, the bathroom spacious and the windows soundproof. It overlooks a lively piazza, where music went on into the night, but it could not be heard in the B & B.

It was all good.

Vania was super lovely, there was a language barrier but nothing that couldn't be understood via google translate. Her breakfast in the morning was so beautiful. The room was very comfortable! Instructions on where to park was close and convenient

minor cleaning issues that got taken care off right away. check out at 10am! soft in plastic wrapped croissants, would be so easy to get fresh or frozen ones to put in the oven!

Great location - Keep in mind if you travel by car, use "Piazza del Sale" instead of "Piazza del Mercato" in your navigation device. Strangely enough two names for the same place, but only 'Piazza del Sale' is listed for routing.

really central, easy to find and with a parking space not far from it. The all house was clean and comfortable. we were welcomed by a Riccardo who also gave us tips about places to visit in the area around the city and where to eat in town.

I think the best thing about Le Mura B&B was the level of cleanliness of the room and public spaces.

I found the keys to be difficult to use. Opening the door to my room was kind of touch and go. Both from inside the room and also to get into the room. The breakfast was adequate, but could have been improved with some fresh fruit.
