Hotel is located not too far from Old Town, about a fifteen-minute walk. My room was big with a walk-in shower with plenty of hot water and had comfortable bedding. The A/C is not controlled in the rooms but don't let that bother you as it was plenty cold. You can always call down to reception and they will adjust it. There is secure underground parking with plenty of spots, great for motorcycles. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices.

More outlets to charge devices. Restaurant is currently closed as of Aug 2025 not sure if and when it will reopen.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They kindly upgraded our room to a junior suite -- it was very comfortable and spacious and we had the best night's sleep! We loved that we could park under the hotel (+5 euro) and the complimentary use of their beach club pool (Dolce Vita, Marina de Grosseto) which was included in our rate was a great added extra. We would definitely return to hotel Airone if in this area again.

We understood the rooftop pool was open air, but it was indoor and quite small. I'm nitpicking here though - the beach club pool made up for it, and we had a great stay!

We booked a suite which was a good size with dressing area. Plenty of car parking. Staff very pleasant. The team managed to arrange some laundry to be done for us at the last minute. Worth the short walk into town for some cafes and restaurants. Although Christals on the corner was nice. Good hotel and would recommend.

Carpets were a bit stained. Spa was ok but a little dated and could be softened up with some plants etc.

Great location close to the city centre, with parking available. Free access to the wellness area was a nice bonus. The bathroom was clean and very spacious, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was sufficient.

The room can be noisy if the window faces the busy street, and there was a smell of smoke. I would consider removing the carpets from the rooms, as they are not very clean.

24 hour reception, booked on booking.com at 10.30pm when our flight out of pisa was cancelled and we had to get to Rome. Instant reply to questions. Needed a stop off point to get a few hours sleep. Very accommodating for our very short emergency stay.

We didn't get to experience much of the hotel services due to our very brief stay but man on reception was very professional and answered questions re parking very quickly while I messaged him on our way there

Centrally located hotel with easy walking distances to Grosseto Old Town. Underground parking with ample space Room was spacious and a comfortable, sufficient storage space - good bed. Very clean. 24/7 reception, friendly staff, modern, well appointed rooms, very clean.Good breakfast. Stayed for one night after a drive from Rome. Early checkin available and was much appreciated as we arrived in the middle of the night and 5 minutes later were in our room.

The location is good and you get what you can expect for that price. The sunbeds in Dolce Vita was a very nice add!

The breakfast was a bit one sided; some fruits and maybe more options for toppings on bread would be great.

Clean room with all facilities, staff is professional and friendly, parking is private and very secure.

I would have liked the option to have a light cotton blanket available, as the quilted one provided was too warm for us.

Large well-appointed room. Comfy bed. Rain shower and tub. Tasty breakfast with good variety. Small gym with machines. Allowed early check in and kept luggage after check out. Close to centro historico and walkable to train station. Probably the best hotel in town, rather luxurious. Would definitely return.
