I liked the animals near the apartment

Pool, spacious rooms.

One of the pools (50 m from apartment) were occupied by summer camp (there was no warning before coming to hotel), so we need to go 800 m to another pool. Staff do not speak english, so they just ignore those who are not italian Air conditioner in the apartment was broken (it made lound sounds, water was leaking directly into the bed). We need to move furnitures in the bedroom and get a bucket for the water. I informed reception and went to reception every day to remind. One of receptionist said in the 4rd day that mechanics do not have time for us. Machanic came only after a week of problem registration. He did not fixed, turned AC off and left garbige in the room. We got another apartment only after I (pregnant woman) went to reception again and screamed on that the same receptionist (who said that mechanics do not have time for non italians for 4 days). We also asked about loundry. So we need to ask for 3 times to get staff to show us where the loundry room is. Such awful service I did not image, especially in europe!

The bathrooms were large and clean. There was ample space to walk and peruse the massive (and empty) grounds. There was a small farm area with some nice animals (2 horses, a donkey, 2 goats, some rabbits, lots of wild birds) and my young son loved that. Beyond that, there was nothing to like during our stay, as the hotel closed our first morning, the pool and spa areas were not available, and absolutely nothing was open.

Where do I begin - from the unfriendly and un-informed staff that checked us in to the property, to the first full day we tried to book pool and spa time, only to find out that the property was suddenly "closing" last minute, to the last straw - which was that we found out we were staying an entire night COMPLETELY ALONE on a massive, sprawling property with NO SECURITY OF ANY KIND. When we said that were both extremely disappointed and downright SCARED to be staying there alone, the staff just sort of shrugged and said, "sorry about that". When we raised a formal complaint through booking.com, the property offered us 14.96 EUR as a refund and LIED to booking.com saying they were closing for planned maintenance and that we were informed - both of which were 100% false. They even lied again to booking.com saying they offered to provide our spa services at another location - another patent lie. The property did not explain their refund at all and patently refused to reimburse us in full, despite the fact that NONE of the services listed at the property were available (pool, spa, dining, entertainment, etc.) and they CLOSED WHILE WE WERE STAYING THERE - I have never experienced such abject customers service in my life, and the fact that the hotel lied to booking.com regarding the details of our stay is egregious. By the second night of our three-night itinerary, we felt so upset and alone, we simply up and left the property. Booking.com did nothing to refund us, and we ended up reporting the property for fraud through our credit card company. I have also contacted the national board of tourism in Italy and reported this property.
