I loved this little piece of magical Italy and the hotel was perfect! Everyone was very friendly. We were the only British family there but made to feel very welcome. Maybe it helps to speak a little bit of Italian to get by ( as I did) as not everyone speaks English! The hotel is on the beach which makes for a beautiful view and experience. The rooms were cleaned beautifully every day and we were assisted with any questions by the lovely family who run it. I would love to go back :-))

I loved everything but I think my teenage daughter missed out on having a shop close by to stock up on snacks! Also it could be tricky for people with mobility problems to access and leave the hotel, as the access is only via a boardwalk on the beach and steps.

The property was perfectly situated and I don’t think you could have a “bad” room in this hotel - the building was graduated so each beachfront room had a perfect view with the option of sun or shade and a perfect ocean view. A private beach was great but there are also bagnos and restaurants lining the beach if you feel like changing it up for a meal or day… The staff were wonderfully inviting and made me and my daughter feel like I was staying with family; welcoming us to breakfast and dinner every day/night. I would recommend for couples and families alike looking for a beach vacation in Ischia a bit away from it all.

Paradise can be as hard to define as it is to find. Yet La Gondola came as close as you can get to perfection. Stunning location where a kind of old school dreaminess exists. Devoid of flash and pretence, the hotel offers the traveller a charm and peace that belongs to an age not found in today's gaudy, noisy world. Indeed, a sign by the thermal heated pool reads "No shouting"! The staff were laid back but attentive, the food 9/10, cleanliness 10/10. Many guests (mostly Italian & German) were there as repeat visitors. Once you go there you will definitely want to return.

The location is fantastic ! It’s a short walk on wooden walkway to hotel.As you walk Along the beach, there are many little restaurants to choose from, but we mainly ate at laGondola. Food was delicious! Staff is amazing. Everyone is very kind and accommodating. Our rooms opened to a large shared terrace.so beautiful ! Theres the warm thermal pool ,hot pool in the grotto and my favorite The natural sauna in the cave, then its only a few steps to the sea. It’s really all inclusive if you just want to stay and relax, but easy enough to get a bus or cab if you want to explore island. It was exactly what I was looking for! Beautiful for solo travelers couples or families!I loved it!❤️

I cant think of anything to improve . La Gondola seems to be very organized.

The cuisine was like home cooked Italian. Every meal delicious. The staff was extremely kind, friendly, helpful, professional and genuinely interested in the well being, happiness and care of their guests and made every effort to provide a relaxing and beautiful environment.

Literally on the beach and everything right there - wonderful meals, hot spring pool, and the family who own it make you feel like you are part of the family too. So helpful and sweet! Truly the most wonderful place!

A small fridge in the room would be great

This is the best location I have ever been for holiday. The room is always clean. The breakfast is very nice, the dinner is absolutely delicious!!! The staff of the hotel is friendly and very helpful. Big thanks to Antonio, Marco,Anna,Tania and all team of La Gondola Hotel, they made our holiday absolutely fantastic and unforgettable!!!

Location! View from our room. My husband loved the natural sauna and the thermal pools. I loved the baked cornetti for breakfast.

No real separation between balconies of adjacent rooms.

Proximity to the beach. Dinners on premises rival anything you can get on the island. Family-owned and attentive staff.

Small shower. Difficulty finding property for newcomers.

Ideal location to relax on the seafront, beautiful view from the room balconies. Huge plus the free sunbeds provided on the beach. Complete breakfast and friendly staff.
