This hotel is a little gem directly on Ischia's largest beach, Maronti Beach, offering a tranquil and relaxing environment. The hotel delivers on its promise of direct beach access, with incredible sea views of the bay, meaning effortless days soaking up the sun and serene atmosphere. The constant, soothing presence of the sea is a standout feature. Falling asleep and waking to the sounds of the waves was amazing and gave us the feeling of a true getaway. Key Features: * Beach Access: Direct access to the beach with free deckchairs and parasols provided. * Dining: Features homely traditionnel regional Italian cooking. * Location: Situated on Ischia's largest beach, adjacent to the quaint town of San Angelo which is accessible by foot over the hills or by water taxi. * The center of Maronti, with a dozen bars, beach clubs and restaurants, is an 800-meter walk along the boardwalk path. * Ambiance: relaxed with efficient and friendly service. * Room Amenities: Rooms are equipped with a fan. * Superior Double Rooms: Recommended superior double rooms include a large sea view terrace with private deckchairs, a table, and chairs. * All bedrooms are equipped with a small fridge, fan and mosquito nets on the doors and windows. * A small pool fed by natural hot thermal water from the spring above. * Accessibility: * Accessible from Ischia Porto by bus (no 5) or taxi. * Hotel can arrange a pre-booked taxi service from Ischia Porto to/from Maronti beach (fixed fare each way: 30 euros) * Upon arrival at Maronti beach, hotel staff provide luggage transfer via (beach) boardwalk to the hotel, and the service is reversed upon departure.

Staying here was magical. Our balcony overlooked the ocean and was the perfect place to have a drink at the end of the day. It was so nice to stay right on the beach--we were able to walk downstairs and go for a swim first thing in the morning. The sauna and thermal bath were an added bonus! The restaurant here was great as well, exceeded expectations. Order the puttanesca. The staff were so kind and warm and patient with my limited Italian. Having a cappuccino on the terrace in the morning was a dream. I did not want to leave this hotel, I could have stayed twice as long. Please note you do have to walk a bit down the beach to reach this hotel (there is a pathway, not on the sand), but staff will help you with your bags if you need it. It was not a problem for us, but for someone with limited mobility it may be. The beach that this hotel is located on is absolutely gorgeous. Also, if you've read the Neapolitan Novels, it is the beach where Lenu loses her virginity.

This place is such a gem Very Special , the fact that they have 3 or 4 generations of family working together is a beautiful thing. The nonna still in the kitchen is incredible We felt like we were on our own exclusive beach Such an amazing beautiful spot. The owners and staff are such beautiful people, so warm and friendly and welcoming. We arrived as guests and left as family. Carmela , Guido and their family made us feel so welcome and we had to remind ourselves that we were at a hotel and not at a relative's house. Our favorite place that we discovered through our travels. Grazie Mille prr tutto Carmela e famiglia Siete veramente gente di core A la prossima ❤️

Room was spacious and full of light, huge windows for a cute balcony, with amazing ocean view and breeze. Staff was very nice and welcomed me with coffee. Amil helped me with the luggage, which was very kind. Location is perfect and quiet on beachfront, taxi boat stop a couple steps from the hotel, and it’s also close enough to the bus stop. It was also a nice walk to Sant’Angelo and other nearby attractions. The sauna and thermal pool were a plus!! Breakfast was nice, with coffee or capuccino and eggs made freshly on demand.

Being right beside the sea, listening to the sound of the waves at night. The staff were very friendly, especially Miriam who gave an excellent massage, the lady who cleans the rooms, the restaurant staff and the boys who dropped us with our luggage back to Maronti beach to catch the bus back to the ferry. The food was excellent very fresh and wholesome. The scrambled eggs for breakfast, the pot of tea and the orange and chocolate tart were delicious as was the bruschetta caprese, homemade chips and seafood pasta dish. There is a lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere. The balcony was fabulous for sitting/ lying out on. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxed escape from it all.

Nothing.

The view from our seaview room was spectacular and the room itself was comfortable (aside from the heat). Breakfast was simple but very good with fresh fruit and fresh croissants and eggs and coffee made to order. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They also resolved the commute problem. At the Maronti bus stop, they send someone to pick you and your bags up and thrn take you to the hotel steps on water taxi! They also return you to the bus/taxi stop at checkout. It was a great addition to our stay. Tips: Go to Mossimo for sunbeds and umbrella. They give you a good price (20-25Euros) for 2 people all day. Well worth it. Also, you can easily access Sant Angelo or Fumerole by water taxis that stop near the hotel or throughout Maronti Beach. You can also walk on a hike behind the hotel (20-25 mins) but wear comfortable shoes. Views from above are nice too. There is also a couple of very good restaurants behind the hotel as well.

There is no AC in the rooms and it gets really hot in August, tough to sleep at times. Also, getting to the hotel is a bit tricky. Dont believe your gps, it is 15-20 minutes to Maronti bus stop and you can easily take the bus fron Ischia Porto. There is also no direct beach or beach chairs at this hotel. You have to walk 2 mins to rent some chairs and umbrella. Another thing, the staff does not speak a lot of English. BUT we knew all of this before we booked so any issues are our fault, including the language issue. We ahould learn some of their language.

I booked with Hotel Regina Del Mare and they were not only able to accommodate me same day- but also provided free water taxi to and from the property. Emi (not sure how to spell his name) grabbed my bags from the bus drop and walked them up and down stairs/ sand each time under the hot sun. Him and the rest of the staff are the kindest people ever. The hospitality at this hotel is absolutely amazing. They made me feel so comfortable and taken care of! The hotel itself is STUNNING. The view is absolutely insane. With breakfast, water taxi, and the view, this is honestly the best value for your money you’ll get in ischia. I would come back in a heartbeat and am already thinking ahead to coming back next year. Grazie!!!!

Carmella, Francesco, Rasheed and "the one that does not speak" are fantastic. Tide cut off the way in, so we were met in Serra and experienced the Indiana Jones way to RDM, wow! Bathroom spacious, balcony view outstanding, food was restaurant quality. The hotel's boat is not a taxi! It is for taking guests to/from Maronti Beach only, which for kind and courteous guests they will willing do. The RDM had it's own, free natural sauna, thermal pool and beach. Due to the salt content of the water, it looks 'dirty', it is not! Bar and food is extremely cheap. Breakfast was plentiful and coffee very good. Staff made a great gesture in our room as we were on honeymoon, much appreciated. A room has a small library and foosball (competition time!) A nearby restaurant Pietro Paolo is one of the best on the island and had great rabbit. You can swim/walk to Maronti. They have these amazing sunbeds with head shades! Get the boat to Sant Angelo for €4 per person, each way.

TVs need to be upgraded to smart so guests can enjoy Netflix etc when having down time.

You cannot beat this location for the money. And incredible rate for wonderful hospitality, falling asleep to the sounds of the sea right beneath you, and waking up to the most beautiful views in Ischia. The staff make you feel like family and are incredibly kind.

That I didn’t stay longer! The beds are firm, but for a couple of nights and those views, I’m not bothered by it. The wifi can be spotty in the rooms, but works perfectly in the main areas and dining room. Neither are important given overwhelming positives, but could be improved.

The transportation to the hotel by boat added to the enchantment. The journey over the sea until arriving at the hotel made me forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The stay at this charming family-run hotel was simply unforgettable. With a warm welcome, I felt at home from the very first moment. The hotel, managed by a small family, exudes a welcoming atmosphere that makes the stay exceptionally pleasant. My room with a balcony allowed me to observe the waves directly from below. The gentle sound of the waves accompanied me to sleep, creating a relaxing and idyllic atmosphere that I had never experienced before. An evening stroll to Sant'Angelo was another highlight of my stay. The restaurant with a panoramic view of Sant'Angelo added an extra dimension to every meal. Each evening, I was pleasantly surprised with freshly prepared delicacies. The fisherman, returning each morning with the fresh catch from the region, provided an authentic and flavorful culinary experience. The "Nonna" brought out the flavors of the area perfectly, allowing me to feel the authenticity of the cuisine. I will cherish these memories forever in my heart and can hardly wait to return.

The accommodation was perfect for June, even though there was no air conditioning. The cool sea breeze and the gentle sound of the waves created a perfect stay.
