We loved our stay here. Everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful, especially Anna, Joe, Norma and Federica and Dario. The room was large and I loved the tile on the floors and the sea view! The swimming pool is great and so are the inside thermal pools. It's a long walk down to the sea (close to 300 stairs), but worth it once you get down there. The sea deck is a perfect place to relax, sunbathe and access the water. Swimming in the med there is amazing! The restaurant at the hotel has beautiful sea views that are incredible for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The breakfast at the hotel has everything you could every want. I'm still thinking about it! The hotel is a short bus or taxi (15 Euro) ride from Ischia Porto (the town/port area), or you can walk. It took us about 20-25 minutes to walk to town. There is a free hotel shuttle to town, but it has limited times available to take it. We had a great experience at Le Querce and would definitely stay here again!

Loved everything, but there could have been a few more food options at the sea deck area. A few later times for the shuttle to town would be helpful.

The hotel’s location with stunning sea views, 3 bus stops away from Ischia port. Great outdoor thermal bath and very pleasant indoor thermal spa. Easy base from which to explore the island.

We booked on the basis that the hotel had a shuttle bus service into town, and that there was a restaurant . Neither was operational during our stay in the early part of April. In the event it didn’t really matter as there is an excellent bus service on the island (bus stop outside hotel) and easy enough to go into Ischia town by bus to eat in local restaurants in the evenings.

Beatiful hotel uphill from Ischia Porto. The resort is nicely embedded in a park-like setting. Gorgeous outdoor thermal pool with stunning views. Access to the sea through a walkway with dozens of steps. Lounge chairs and umbrella on the ponton were free during September, but cost EUR 15 during the peak season. Chrystal-clear and comfortably warm sea waters. The hotel‘s main selling point is the sea view rooms; we had booked a superior sea view room, but were upgraded to a deluxe sea view room, which we liked a lot. Comfortable bed. Warm lighting. Strong shower. Breakfast offered ample choice. Above all, everybody at the hotel was super-friendly. A very pleasant stay. Walk to town was easy, but the return always a bit strenuous; the bus (lines CS, 1 and 2) can help cover the distance though (just three stops).

A/C did not work well, but was not really needed. The sea view is hit or miss; as the resort stretches quite a bit and the vegetation is lush, there is no guarantee that the view is indeed unobstructed. We did not understand why our terrace had planters on top of the vegetation around us, thus obstructing the sea view a bit when sitting in the lounge chairs. But this was a minor blemish.

The thermal spa was great it is just aging a bit but overall good, the pool was nice and the sea views were exquisite. The food was absolutely amazing and the waiters were wonderful. I liked that they had free shuttle to the town but unfortunately around the port areas there was a lot of trash which took away from the beauty so it would help to have more public trash bins.

Nothing in rooms like brochures with hours for pool, spa, restaurant made it frustrating because I had to go to the desk multiple times to ask. The pool and spa close too early and the pool restaurant doesn’t open til 1 pm for lunch, the dinner does not open till 8 pm. We went to relax and get rejuvenated but the spa to get treatments was booked for the entire stay just 2 openings which was ridiculous. We asked and paid for a sea view in our room and the sea view was a small corner on the terrace with more roof top than sea view. They also had a private beach which we were looking forward to but it is 280 steep steps up and down no lift available so we unfortunately did not use the private beach,

Good hotel. We had a suite with a pullout for the two boys and a hotel provided crib for the baby. Breakfast was great, heated pool was fantastic with a view over the sea. Hotel is clean and well kept with on-site free parking

The pool staff was too strict with enforcing "pool rules"...my two boys were having fun in the pool (and were the only ones there) only to get chided by the staff for splashing and jumping. I am all for making sure kids play safely and don't disturb other guests, but the pool guy went too far for a pool that is not being marketed as "adults only"

The setting was spectacular, views of the Gulf of Naples right off our balcony. The swimming pool and thermal spa were free and well maintained. The staff was exceptional, very helpful in answering questions and always happy and smiling. Breakfast was included and there was a nice variety of food, especially the sweet treats- cakes, croissants, tarts. La Querce Resort was a short distance from the port at Ischia and there were bus stops within a few meters of the resort so one could take the bus to the port or on excursions around the island.

The restaurant could have had more choices for dinner. The food was good.

The location is outstanding. Views from the the outdoor pool and the restaurant are breathtaking. The hotel style is charming. Rooms are large with balconies overlooking the sea. The restaurant food is amazing, especially dinners. Special thanks to the maitre'd Dario. Every day, he made us feel welcomed and cared for. Anna on the reception was very helpful too.

The hotel is about 50 years old without any major renovations. The rooms are large, but outdated. The shower head was spraying water all over the bathroom, which got fixed the first night. The A/C unit and the wall lights in the room didn't work. The outdoor pools is large, but in need of cleaning since it's covered in black algae. The indoor pool needs major repairs and cleaning, parts of it are broken and not working and black algae is present on all surfaces. One of the receptionists, an older gentleman, was unfriendly.

We spent 7 nights at Le Querce and wish he had booked longer. The staff are wonderful, the services including the restaurant was great, and the views spectacular. We had a great time and wish to thank everyone at Le Querce for their wonderful hospitality.

Nothing - it was perfect!

The property was very luxurious in places and a little rundown in others. The view from the breakfast room was magnificent and breakfast was lovely.

Unfortunately we were given a room with staff quarters only one metre away from our room which meant we had to listen to the constant smashing of the door as it opened and closed. This door can be opened and closed in complete silence but the staff took great joy in slamming it constantly, even waking us up at night. This did affect our holiday. We even had a shared balcony with these staff who would smoke just next to our patio doors filling the room with cigarette smoke! Perhaps this room should not be let to paying customers in the future.

The room was very comfortable and accommodating for a young child. The pool and beach were incredible, as long as you don't mind a lot of steps (for the beach mainly). Staff was all very knowledgeable of the island and facilities.

Had some issues with the a/c upon arrival but it was fixed within half a day. Confirm which room you booked with the hotel as photos show different types of rooms for the same prices.
