Slightly remote so hard to come and go as you please. Shuttle ran every 90 minutes in morning and evening but not between 12-5 so you had to be either in town at the hottest part of the day or at the hotel. Of course, you could also call a taxi.

Highly recommend Grifo Hotel. Great facilities (pool, spa, room facilities). What set the hotel apart is the quality of its staff, they do their best to assist, great consistency and good energy among the team. Enzo at the restaurant is exceptional: he memorizes the last name of all guests and is so sweet. We ran into a small issue and the team and management went out of their way to satisfy our request.

Can’t walk into the town but the good side is that it’s quiet, there’s a nice view and they have a shuttle that is super convenient

Came here with my mum to treat her for few days. The property has an amazing location, quiet and relaxing while super near the harbour, plus it is super clean and has every service you’d expect from a high end hotel. Pool and spa are so amazing we used them every day; breakfast buffet has so much choice and it’s all fresh and delicious, the hotel restaurant is also a perfect choice for a nice night in. What really made our holiday was the utmost kindness and attention to detail from the hotel staff and owners who are, not only very welcoming but true legends! Thank you so much to all of you for these unforgettable days and I can’t wait to come back!

Really peaceful place that's not far from the port. Personnel was super kind and helpful. Both the pool and the spa area were pretty nice. Great breakfast and food. We had an annex room which is not in the main building but very close (5 seconds walk) These rooms have a small garden in front of them which is great if you have small kids, so you can spend some time with them in the shadow when needed.

Nothing, we were pretty happy with everything.

The property is immaculately clean and modern (which is my preference). The food was excellent. Enzo, who manages the dining facilities is a rare gem. He could not possibly have done more to make our stay comfortable as well as all the other guests surrounding us. I had two massages. Rita was an incredible talent. The rest of the staff are all cheerful and very helpful.

Just a few things guests should know: It is not far from the port and they do provide free shuttle service back-and-forth, but you will not be walking into cute shops next to the hotel. A couple of real misses… There is no body lotion available in the room. There was no hair conditioner available. The blow dryer in the room was subpar. It would have taken me three hours to dry my hair. They do not provide daily fresh towels at the pool. You were given one towel or the option to pay five euros each day for a fresh towel. I have never heard of anything like that in my life! Also all water, with the exception of what’s available at breakfast must be purchased.

The property is beautiful, perched on a hill overlooking the ocean, and is very well kept. The staff are all so excellent and friendly! They felt like family after our week stay there. The spa facilities are such a wonderful amenity to offer, annd the pool area is so beautiful and relaxing. And the breakfast is incredible! Enzo and his staff are so kind and attentive…I'm already missing my morning conversations with him.

The shuttle service down to Ischia Porto was a nice service, but I wish it would run on a regular schedule back to the hotel. Instead you have to call to have them come get you at a predetermined time, which was not always convenient. Also, it would have been nice if the spa facilities stayed open an hour longer until 20:00, as many time we would get back to the hotel from out day out at 18:30 and wouldn’t have time to use it.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We received a lot of helpful information about Ischia from the lovely young lady at the reception, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The dinner at their restaurant was delicious, and Mr. Enzo was very charming and made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel is in a quiet and relaxing area, perfect for unwinding. They also offer a shuttle service, making it easy to explore different parts of the island. Our room was spacious and we had a large balcony with a beautiful sea view. I highly recommend this hotel, and if we ever return to Ischia, we will definitely consider staying here again!

An amazing stay, not even sure where to start: - the staff is perfect, at the reception, the bar, the restaurant, the best service you can expect, especially to the amazing Michele. The lovely boss Alberto is a gem too. - The room, big, beautiful, comfortable bed, nicely cleaned every day, and a breathtaking view (we had the “lateral sea view”, which was more frontal than lateral) - The beautiful pool, quiet, no need to rush and put your towel on the sunbed at 7am, there is plenty of room for everyone as this is an intimate family hotel - The breakfast, where you will find amazing food but also friendly; personalized and lovely service - The dinner, we went only once but there was plenty of good food (4 course!!) - The “extra mile service” they offer you: you need a car or a scooter? They organize. You want a nice massage? They take care of it. You need advice, ideas, plans? They will be there. - The spa: beautiful, relaxing, everything is made so that you feel well, massages were amazing. Long story short, if you are looking for perfection, in an intimate family setting, with personalized service, staff that cares and attention to details; this is the place to go.

Amazing staff - particularly Antonio and Maria, they could have not been more helpful if they tried! Breakfast was good, spa facilities are very clean and well maintained, the free navetta service really useful and lifesaver! The anti-stress massage was really good. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody visiting Ischia.

We paid extra for Superior Room with sea view - but room 201 did not feel too 'superior' and the sea view are on the side and quite a distance from the edge of the property. It should not be classed as 'superior' in our views. We would not select this room in the future. Also the note on the door stating no food or drinks from outside allowed at all was a a bit threating... The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, no free bottle of water provided per day and no minibar/no coffee and tea facilities in the room... They might had issues with people bringing all sorts in the past hence the note but we did not like the limitation as forced you to drink at the Hotel all the time.

The hotel is immaculate, rooms were very comfortable and spacious and staff were very helpful and friendly. We were B&B and the breakfast was fab! We did stay for dinner one night but, although it was lovely, as it was too expensive we didn’t stay again!

It was quite a distance from Ischia Porto (Casamicciola Terme was closer) but the shuttle bus helped enormously! Also thought that the roof was a wasted space! Much better use IMO would be a terrace where people can relax, have a drink and enjoy the sunset!
