The location was amazing! Right on the coast with ocean access and gorgeous outdoor areas for soaking up the sun or having a cocktail at the bar. The staff was so fabulous!! So friendly and helpful. They had great recommendations for restaurants and thing to do. They were happy to make dinner reservations. Wonderful breakfast in a beautiful room facing the sea. Loved walking to the Casamicciola Terme for dinner and gelato. Easy access to take the bus to the port, the Castello, St Angelo etc. The hotel has the best cab driver on call as well. Then of course is the amazing spa. Great massage. Love the thermal water pool and the sauna. Great stay!!

We loved everything about the property. Perfect location right at the bus stop where you can take multiples buses to go to Ischia Porto in 5 minutes but also to all the other directions. Amazing staff, friendly and professional at all times. When we checked in we got upgraded with a sea view room that was just breathtaking. Spacious and spotless room with a lovely balcony overlooking Ischia bay and right on the sea. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent with a great variety of choices. We loved the Spa perfect for relaxation. I can’t recommend it enough, best property in Ischia.

We liked everything about the property.

Loved the facilities, the pools and thermal spas were unbelievable. The room was great as we had a patio and a day bed. Very private. So relaxing. The spa was wonderful. The staff were very nice and accommodating also, I could WhatsApp them for everything which was great because I didn’t have to go to the front desk for everything.

I didn’t like that we had to walk through the dining area to get to our room. The pillows were not very comfortable. The room was fine, it could be a bit more updated, like painted or cleaned as it looked a little run down. But the property & amenities definitely outweighed everything.

Breakfast was served on their terrace on the bay and it was very abundant and with many choices plus any kind of coffee or cappuccino or latte and more than once time and also made to order were choices like pancakes, eggs and french toast. It was the best buffet I have ever enjoyed! at lunch time the restaurant is open on their private beach whereas in the evening is back on the beautiful terrace. The restaurant is outstanding! We ate there both nights as there were many choices and all delicious! Also worth mentioning is their thermal waters and saunas and the very professional staff at the SPA. The treatments were relly good.

It was absolutely beautiful. I stayed at another property in Ischia and this was by far the more comfortable stay. The bed was great and so was the bedding. The staff that greeted me at reception upon arrival was lovely and helpful. The beach area is fantastic! Unfortunately I wasn’t allowed in the water during my stay but this was at no fault of the hotel as the conditions were dangerous. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for a night so I could have a relaxing night in and recover from a lot of drinking and partying. Hence, I tried to watch Netflix and the staff on reception at the time was very unhelpful. I said I’d tried to connect but she said she was busy and couldn’t help so I never connected. Previous hotels I’ve stayed at have had an engineer or someone else to come up to the room to assist.

The waterfront was so lovely and even had a thermal spring of their own. The spa was lovely. The staff were very friendly and offered excellent recommendations. The place was very clean. The breakfast had great options. The bus was right outside the door. One tip for the bus service is to go to the Tabachi store and buy multiple tickets at the beginning of your stay- you can then validate them on the bus as needed. The bus is crowded and they run out of tickets. Hope to be back next year.

We had the best time at La Madonnina. The facilities are all superb, the gym is very well equiped, the spa area is great and the treatments we had were amazing, but the private beach area is the best! The room was very comfortable with a little balcony with great views. But the highlight is the staff, everyone is super friendly. The catering staff were so attentive. They catered to a vegan diet with oat milk for coffee and making some adjustments for lunches and dinner. Breakfast options were so varied, I almost had completely different things to eat every day for a week! The reception ladies super helpful, even before we arrived as we had some trouble with ferry cancellations. We were also able to stay on the day after checkout and use the beach until we were due to catch the ferry. All in all, an amazing experience!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The gym equipment is excellent and clean for a small hotel gym and provides exactly what you need. The sea area is very impressive with a bar and drinks service to your lounger. The room was clean and spacious. In terms of accessibility there is a bus stop literally 4m outside the hotel which runs regularly from ischia port and costs a few euros. The views from the hotel are stunning and I would say it is definitely value for money considering other prices of the hotels with such a view and swimming area. The staff knew we were getting married only a few days later and upon leaving gave us a small gift which was unexpected and lovely!

One thing I would have like is some more snacky options by the pool as most of them were restaurant dishes that you can eat for lunch at the outdoor restaurant. Maybe a vegetarian salad of panuozzo/pannis etc would have been great, a few more light bites.

Omg every thing was perfect! Benedetta and Rosamaria are the best hotel staff I’ve ever worked with. Coming from Sorrento, the water taxis have been hit or miss. That was the same for leaving Ischia to Naples. They helped arrange everything for our arrival and departure, for me and my sister and 6 other guests leaving Ischia, from the taxi services (needed 2 on departure day; one to the port in Ischia and 1 from the port we landed in to Naples train station), the water ferry, etc. They took the stress out of everything! Made dinner recommendations and reservations, advice on the bus system and the best spas. The hotel grounds were beautiful. All the staff were amazing from the bars, restaurant and spa. The worst part was we only stayed 2 nights, but could have stayed a few more! Ischia was more beautiful than expected.

Nothing, everything was absolutely perfect!

Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. They provided nice toiletries and changed the towels regularly. We had a large balcony with a great waterfront view. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choices including eggs the way you wanted them. The servers were great, friendly and helpful. The is a bus stop right in front of the property and we used buses to get around the island. A short walk from the hotel is a very nice local pizzeria and also a supermarket.

We did not find anything that needed improvement.
