The location was amazing, I think the best location for the Amalfi coast, 5 minutes from bus stop no stairs and also 10 minutes for boats that go to Positano, Amalfi, capri and Salerno. The hotel is not super new, but has all the facilities. The employees and the receptionist are delightful, they make my mother feel super confortable, we stayed 10 days and they upgraded our room with ocean views. Was big and the view was stunning. You are 2 minutes away from the ocean. Is so relaxing. And the breakfast was also nice, you have pastries and fresh coffee. I will come back happy. With a person with walking disability or age. I think is an amazing option.

The only think I will said is that the air conditioner is not control by room. Is control for the building. For us was not a problem

The staff was amazing, they helped me with everything I needed. The room was clean and comfortable, the sea view rooms are especially great at this hotel compared to the other ones in Maiori as the main road passes behind the hotel, not in front of it. The view from this hotel is amazing. The bed was comfortable, ac worked great.

The hotel is at the end of Maiori, which means that the port was about 20 minutes walk away. Town center is 5 minutes walk away, so it is definitely not far from anything, just something to keep in mind. This also means that it is also much quieter, so not a huge minus in my book. The breakfast variety was not great, but I could always find something to eat.

The hotel was located very centrally and walk away from restaurants and the beach. We had the family room which had two connecting rooms and one washroom for showering while the other with the toilet. Breakfast was included was delicious and offered variety of items, including pancakes, scrambled eggs, etc. The staff was very friendly especially Margarita and Sara, who helped us with information and when we informed them that our kid was not well. They called the doctor for us to make an appointment and followed up the next day. You can rent the chairs and umbrella for €20 a day in parking was also €20 a night .

The building is very old and the rooms need some upgrading. The beach is across the street and not directly accessible from the hotel.

The most wonderful view of the sea from our room, which was literally across the road from our hotel - what a beautiful sight to wake up to. The room was a good size and had a free safe for your use. The shower was excellent! Towels were changed daily. Small mini bar for which you had to pay for anything you used in there but prices were not extortionate. Enough space for you to store a few small bottles of your own. Staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to Andreina who really looked after us. Breakfast was buffet style and very nice. Decent amount of options but not as extensive as you may perhaps get at other places. It was more than enough choice for us: bread, pastries both savoury and sweet, fresh fruit, cakes, grilled vegetables, cheeses, olives, salads, yogurts, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, great coffee, water and fruit juices

Our room was in need of a little refresh/repaint but it did not spoil our enjoyment of the room at all. You have to pay for onsite parking at the hotel if you have a hire car but given this is a premium location where parking is difficult to come by at the best of times and you have to pay to park everywhere anyway, it was a real peace of mind knowing we had a reserved space to park in when we got back from being out

Private beach in front which had great views and very clean and nice . Parking very convenient on the premises. Easy to get to other locations by car. The staff goes above and beyond to help you . They are very kind and courteous. On our departure, we had to leave before the breakfast was ready and they packed a takeout for us. I would recommend this hotel . It’s great for family with children.

When I booked with bookings, I thought I was getting a room with a balcony but I didn’t. I really wanted a room with balcony but they were fully booked and could not switch me.

Staff was great! Everyone in reception could talk to us in either Spanish, English or Italian. They were all very helpful offering recommendations and helping us have a great experience with them. Ida was super helpful. We got a beautiful room with a sea view. We even had the chance to consider a newer room with no view but we decided to go for this one. It was a fantastic experience looking at the beach. They also offer breakfast with quite a variety of options. We had to stay for a bit longer as I had a migraine and I needed to rest for a bit longer before leaving and they happily let us stay for a bit longer. The hotel is easy to find, the beach is right in front. It was a lovely stay! Thank you for everything!

Not much really. It is a bit outdated but nothing terrible.

The view from my balcony was beautiful, I loved the tile floors. The bathroom shower was very nice. The breakfast was a great spread. The staff at the desk were very helpful and had copies of the ferry schedule. The bus stop between towns was a short walk and the ferry station was a bit further but completely walkable unless you have limitations. The walk along the water in this town was a nice perk as most towns in the Amalfi Coast are hilly. If traveling with a person in a wheelchair, this may be an ideal town to consider.

Great location by the Maiori beach. Wonderful sea view. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Close to city center. Very friendly and proactive staff. I did enjoyed my stay very much.

The hotel's wifi connection is not strong and stable, so it is good if you plan offline holiday, but may be problematic if you come for workcation. It may also be little noisy because of the nearby street and cars - but it is rather unavoidable on Amalfi coast.

Upon check-in, Ida was very warm and accommodating. Service was exceptional. She even upgraded us to a big family room with 2 balconies and a sea view. Totally unexpected. It was such a pleasant surprise! It was spotless clean, breathtaking view of the ocean and big selection of breakfast. It was like a home away from home. Great job Ida and the rest of the team. We love Hotel Sole Splendid. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and the next time we go back to Maiori, we will definitely stay there again . We had a splendid time!

Family room 149 has the most amazing views which can be enjoyed on the good sized balcony. The breakfast menu is delicious. The staff - Andreina, Margherita and Nicola - were very responsive to questions, organised our ferry to Capri and readily answered questions when we were at the hotel. The hotel is situated at the opposite end to the ferry terminal which for those with mobility issues could be an issue. A laundromat is close by. A free pebbly beach is directly across the road. Numerous restaurants are within easy walking distance.

In the family room the sofa becomes a double bed which is very uncomfortable. The two adults who slept in that room had numerous bruises on the back of their legs from getting out of the bed
