We loved staying at Hotel Baia Verdi. Right on the Amalfi Coast but away from the Cruise Ship crowds and chaos. The top terrace is a beautiful place for breakfast and sunset drinks with a view to die for. The hotel is run by a family of 3 brothers and Mum makes the cakes for breakfast. Right in the middle of Maiori with a big long stretch of beach. Easy to catch a ferry to Positano for the experience and a bus to Amalfi but in a chilled environment. Ask the owners for the name of their parents restaurant to taste the best Limoncello dessert ever!!! Great place to relax, laze on the beach and explore the real Amalfi Coast without paying a fortune!

The location of the hotel couldn't be more perfect. There is a supermarket just right down the hotel, Not even a minute walk. The beach is just a minute walking. Torre Normanna restaurant is just 10 minutes away by foot. Its in the centrum of Maiori and everything is so close by. The Rooftop is amazing with the view. I loved it. Maiori itself is so beautiful, save and peaceful.

I’ve traveled the Coast for the past five summers, and Hotel Baia Verde is hands down one of the best—if not the best—places I’ve stayed. The family who runs the property truly embodies Southern hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for. After a long night of travel, they kindly allowed me to check in early. Noticing how tired I was, they even invited me to sit down for breakfast and a coffee before asking me to complete the check-in process. That small act of kindness set the tone for my entire stay. Each day, my room was meticulously cleaned, and my table was ready for me on their beautiful terrace. The staff was always eager to meet any request, ensuring I felt safe, seen, and comfortable—which, as a solo female traveler, meant the world to me. One thing that makes Hotel Baia Verde truly stand out is its location. It’s perfectly situated right across the street from the bus stop, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the Coast. Plus, they have an elevator—an absolute rarity on the Amalfi Coast—which made traveling with my suitcase so much easier. They took the time to share stories about their family, the history of the B&B, and the surrounding Coast, making me feel like part of their extended family. Even after I checked out, they graciously held my luggage before leaving. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer, and I’ll absolutely be returning the next time I’m on the Coast. This was an amazing gem of a place. The room was comfy and clean, the balcony was adorable and I spent many an hour out there. The staff was delightful and the breakfast was delicious and the view!! I came to relax after a long two weeks of travelling northern Italy with friends. And it was perfection!! The location couldn't be better next to a grocery store and all the shops and best restaurants! The pickup for the Path of Lemons was right outside the hotel and the kayaking was just across the street.

I absolutely loved the location: supermarket and bus stops are just a few steps from the main door. Tourism office a block away to buy bus tickets. Beautiful beach just across the road. Same block from the main street with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. A block away from the beautiful and highly recommended Path of the Lemons trail. 10 minute walk from ferry port. Honestly, the location can't get better. Also, fantastic views of the bay of Maiori. Staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful. They had no problem with letting us leave our suitcases for a few hours after check out. I definitely felt they looked after us very well. The room was clean and spacious, with plenty of space to fit suitcases and bags. I highly recommend and would definitely love to come back and stay at Hotel Baia Verde.

The shower was a bit tight to fit in but still managed easy. Pillows could be better, a bit low for my taste.

The hotel is located very close to the beach as well as cafés and restaurants. There is a bus station right outside that takes you to either the direction of Salerno or Amalfi, Positano, Sorrent etc. Alternatively, you can walk to the port within 7 minutes to take a ferry that takes you to all the places you would like to visit including Capri Island. We loved the rooftop terrace that overlooks the sea and the promenade. The staff is very friendly and always available.

In the mornings it was a little noisy outside our room.

The cleanliness is impeccable, and the beds are incredibly comfy. Lovely balconies that provide perfect views. A supermarket is conveniently located just down the street, and it's a short walk to the ferry and Maiori city center, making it an ideal base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. A truly delightful stay!

We had an amazing 5 nights. The hotel is very close to the beach. It was spotless and cleaned daily. It had a nice Italian breakfast with cornetti and sweet cakes. Great sea views from the breakfast room and the balcony of our room. The 2 brothers that run the hotel are very kind and helped arrange transportation for a trip to the mountains as well as a taxi back to Salerno. Would absolutely recommend this hotel in Maiori and we will stay there again when we return.

A little more AC would be nice.

We were greeted by Mario who showed us to our room with a beautiful view of the Amalfi Coast, then parked our car and stored it securely in the garage. It is a perfect location to explore the Amalfi area. Short walk to bars and restaurants with a shop under the building for snacks and necessities. Breakfast with fantastic view on the roof garden was lovely, we left full and happy for our trip.I highly recommend a stay here.

Friendly and helpful staff Clean rooms. Lovely terrace secure parking very near to beaches, bars and restaurants. Not as chaotic and overpriced as Amalfi or Positano Supermarket next to hotel We didnt mind, but some will, breakfast is mostly sweet - but the coffee is great.

Room fridge, really small when you total everything up with the room, city tax and parking - its pricey - but I guess thats Amalfi....
