The room was clean and we had a great view of the lake. We loved that the hotel had a private deck that you can enjoy the lake and the sun lounger was in good condition. The hotel has a restaurant, also facing the lake which is great.

It was nothing that ruined our stay, but they could’ve mow the lawn at the deck where you can enjoy the lake. It was too high and looked a little abandoned, even though the overall structure was well maintained. When we were there we couldn’t find free parking and the rate in the blue zone is €2 per hour from 9am to 11pm (weekends and holidays are also paid by hour)

Great location - the hotel is in the center of the village, opposite a wonderful lake and mountains. Private beach across the road, good breakfasts. I was impressed by the excellent restaurant right by the water, high level of service and taste and presentation of dishes for lunch and evening. Beautiful old town where you can walk in the evening. A great place for people who want to enjoy a quiet holiday, nature, Italian atmosphere and beauty. We plan to come again more than once, not far from Zurich. We were completely delighted.

It has direct access to the lake and ist the most central hotel in Mergozzo. It also is a former private Palazzo which was only turned into a Hotel at a later stage. That means it has many old grand palazzo features. The room was clean and serviced daily and the staff was accommodating. I was uncomfortable in my first single room as it was just above the kitchen. When asked for a different room there was no problem. I was moved to a bigger room and not charged a cent more which I very much appreciated. Breakfast buffet was more than enough and good. The hotel has its own restaurant on the water which is a bit pricier but lovely and just the right thing for a last evening celebration. The hotel has its own beach which is super comfortable.

Only two points: The staff even though accommodating had no actual friendliness as in a smile. It was hard to figure out why. Unfortunately this really put a damper on my experience. This is not to say they were rude, not at all. Just sad looking. Second was the cleanliness of the corridors and stairs. They seemed to not be cleaned much at all

The road between the lake and the hotel is very loud, you can't sleep or enjoy a quiet afternoon with an open window because you'll be woken up by scooters blasting by. The breakfast buffet was a bit lackluster for the price.

Classic Hotel at the best spot on the lake with a private beach and towels are provided..Very good breakfast on the terrace, the restaurant of the hotel is excellent!

Nothing, i had a single room which was not renovated (such as double rooms / balcony) , it’s a very small bed but the overall experience was excellent!

The location is top tier, amazing view over the lake and very clean hotel. The staff speaks several languages and were really friendly and helpful.

There is no parking spaces. The ones you can use are super expensive (like 20-30 euros a day).

Great location - right on the lake with a private terrace area for sunbathing. Nice room, small but fine.

Arriving there is no parking so need to unload them go park. Best option is the car park about a 5 mins walk.

Great location overlooking the lake. Excellent breakfast on the terrace. Comfortable rooms. Helpful and friendly staff.

You need to ask for a front door key in case you are a little late back from dinner. No parking was a nuisance, but there are free car parks within walking distance.

The hotel is located near the lake and has a great view from some of the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The location is fantastic and the view from the room is exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly and help with requests. The private beach is worth it! The room was very clean and the AC unit is very modern. Breakfast had many options and very tasty.
