Beata Giovannina is a small hotel attached to a large restaurant and excellent pizzeria. Very nicely located on the water's edge at the western end of Verbania. Access by car was very easy and easy to find the hotel, and there seemed to be adequate parking (this is often not the case for hotels on the lakefront nearer the centre of Verbania). Very well-run, and my pizza was the biggest and far the best I have ever tasted, and not expensive. I didn't sample a restaurant meal but it looked to be full of customers. My room was at the side of the building but the balcony (with a couple of chairs) gave a good view over the lake.
Building doesn't have a lift for baggage. But stairs are wide and easy to negotiate.

The staff was amazing. We traveled with 2 kids and they had all the facilities to entertain and feed them. Thank you! You get what you pay for. For a 1-star hotel is excellent, and the food to die for :)

Very nice traditional hotel, located perfected on the lake, nice private beach and restaurant serving really good food, room had a balcony which was a nice plus for drying clothes and the owner made sure my motorcycle was parked in direct line of the security cameras, very reasonable priced, was very well taken care of and very friendly staff
The shower door was super narrow and would not shut but not a big issue , the beach was not kept particularly tidy but again not a big problem
