The hotel is very clean and well positioned.

Unfortunately we met very rude reception staff. We had to wait both at check-in and check-out a lot. The receptionists seemed to be a bit indiferent and we waited a lot while they were solving other problems at the computer. At the check-out it was a huge line at the desk and they were indifferent, doing their job slowly. The next day upon our arrival we encountered problems with our air conditioning and we had to go and ask 4 times for help, every single time they explained the same method of making it function although we tried multiple times to start it and obviously it was a problem. They fixed it in the afternoon.

The breakfast was ok, kind of commercial goods, but very decent. Decaf was excellent, facilities were great with the view to the courtyard. The rooms were older and the bedding was ok but not fantastic. Pillows were comfy, the bed was a bit stiff. Apart from that, super nice staff, parking for $10 extra, location is ideal for the center of town, and they had a bar at night that we didn't use but seemed cool. They also have a restaurant that we didn't use.

The breakfast could have offered better quality food, the beds could have been a tad comfier, but we slept well nonetheless, the room was quite outdated but clean, with a nice courtyard view, and besides the construction of a building next door, it was very quiet for being downtown.

Good hearty breakfast, variety of food. Could probably offer a bit more vegetables. Liked the fact that the same menu was offered in two different rooms- when busy in one place you could check the other station(room) for the same products.

Already sliced bread that was left in basket, under a napkin it was already dry (in one of the rooms).

The hotel is in a good location, the staff is friendly. The old part of the building is amazing.

The bed was not very comfortable, there was no fridge in the room. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, and the food was cooked very poorly, almost at hospital level.

Perfect breakfast. Friedly staff. Good bed, good bath, normal room size.

Was a little bit cold in room, was wery noisy outside doors in coridor, no tea no coffe in room, smell is interesting. Hotel is a little bit old. No space for car. It is written that there is but no there is not and especialy free.

- Gets noisy early in the morning from the street and supermarket accross the street - Room was quite small but for one night o.k. - 10 Euro extra charge for a small dog is in relation to the moderate room price and the small room size definitely too high

Great customer service. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early and park our car there at their private parking spot. There is also a playground for the kids. The food was also good.

The bathroom is a little old but reasonably clean. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, so we had to turn it off at night. We could hear the people next door, so it is not very soundproof.

The hotel is very elegant, with historical nuances being placed on an old monastery. It has 2 courtyards where you can relax, an elegant restaurant and a very nice bar. My room was very generous, composed by two rooms actually, one that is a classic hotel room and one that is like a lobby with a couch, a table and 2 armchairs. Is very closed to Verbania city centre.

We've got an upgrade and stayed at a modern appartment complex close to the sea. Everything was nice and cozy, very clean and modern. The host family was very friendly and very helpful and we felt very welcome. The italian breakfast was great as well so we had a really great and relaxing time there. Thank you for the great holiday.

for us it was the perfect deal. A clean hotel with spaceous rooms and as a bonus there is the old cloister and its garden. our bikes were locked up in a separate building and in the morning there was this rich breakfast with some fresh ingredients that is hard to find in Italy.

it is a very big conference hotel hosting tourist buses, giving you a feel of mass tourism. however for us the goods outweigh this by far including the very kind personell
