I loved the Europalace Hotel. The staff was incredibly nice, welcoming and always very helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We stayed in lake view rooms, and waking up to the stunning view over Lake Maggiore was a big plus. The location is also excellent - just a 3-minute walk to the ferry station , which makes it very easy to explore many beautiful destinations around the lake. Also, the hotel's restaurant "La Cave" really stood out - it was honestly the best place we tried in town, from the service to the dishes. While some of the dishes are on the pricier side, there are also very reasonable options, so you can enjoy excellent food whatever your budget. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would happily stay there again.

Honestly, there wasn’t really anything I didn’t like. The only small thing was the breakfast buffet — it could have had a bit more variety from day to day. But overall it was still very good, and the cooks were super nice and helpful too.

The hotel is right in front of the lake, 5 minutes from the ferry, but no noise, clean, calm and quiet. Rooms with a view are great. Breakfast had a good variety of sweet/salty choice. Restaurant is also a good option. Hospitality was great. Overall excellent stay in a charming old-school place.

Bathrooms are recently renovated but they forgot to put shelves/racks/holders for the toilet paper, the shampoo and soap (so one has to stretch a bit to reach them). No tea boiler and minibar in the room.However, we found these minor, relative to the excellent hospitality and stay we had.

Location and view from the room are amazing (we had lake view room). Breakfast is great. Room spacious. Furniture a bit outdated, but bathroom is newly renovated, and bed is comfortable. Parking paid 100m away, free 500m away.

We liked everything. Unfortunately we couldn't have dinner in the restaurant, as it closed rather early for Italy. But we fully enjoyed it at breakfast

Huge room but unfortunately I got no lake view. Very easy to get everywhere from the hotel and it’s right near the ferry station.

It’s pretty decent hotel but in my opinion the price is too high for it

The gentleman at the reception. Elegant, helpful polite, the "old style" receptionist who knows how to do his job very well. My room was large, clean and quiet.

The hotel is relatively old by design. If you like it, then it's also a plus :)

We stayed the for 6 nights. One of the best places we stayed ever. First line to the lake. Big room with very comfortable beds. Great view. Lots of different options for breakfast. Nice smile staff.

Classical interior, spacious, and quiet. Above all, splendid views of Maggiore! The restaurant at the hotel served excellent meals and reasonable price. The breakfast was wholesome, as well. Free and safe parking nearby was an added merit, for an Italian city, something of a rarity.

The Wifi was a bit weak at the room.

Wonderful location on the shores of the lake. Lovely, helpful reception. Spacious room. Decent air conditioning (needed during our stay).

Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice.

The size of the room was enormous, with a stunning view on the lake. The room was very bright. The hotel is a bit old fashioned but very neat, clean and provides anything you need.
