I am disabled and need a room with a walk in shower. The hotel advised that I would be better staying in the deluxe room. It was certainly huge, complete a balcony along the whole length of the room and a sofa. There isn't much to do on Isola Bella at night - it is either eat at the hotel or in the hotel next door. It is great if you are looking for a relaxed away from things stay.

Limited choice of teas at breakfast. Breakfast is brought to your table plus there is a small selection of items you take from the buffet. However only 2 types of tea bags were brought to my hotel which is a bit limited compared to other hotels. It is nit picking but given the level the hotel is aiming for it was noticeable.

Literally everything, went for my birthday and thanks to whatever universal power, we were the only guests in the whole hotel! We also met the Chef who was absolutely lovely and whose food was divinely cooked, Abdellah who was incredibly attentive and asked to take a picture with me and just like Samantha who saw us coming back and, like the angel she is, brought us our bags so we didn't even have to carry them out; i sadly do not remember the name of the guy that checked us in, but he was just as special and amazing as everyone else. Exquisite people in a wonderful place that had divine food. Best birthday ever♥️love you guys! You made everything spectacularly special♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️til next year✨💐

Absolutely nothing, everything was just perfect to the tenth degree✨♥️they literally made me feel like a famous superstar and treated both of us like royalty. Incredibly amazing💐✨

Nice hotel on Isola Bella. Room very spacious and views were lovely from the balcony (see pics). The restaurant was nice and breakfast was plentiful! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Short ferry from Stresa, and you can take the ferry on to the other islands from Isola Bella which made a nice day trip.

Ferries only go once an hour-ish (photo of ferry schedule attached) and stop at 7pm so we had to get a water taxi back to the island after dinner which cost 10 euros each. Saying that it was very easy to organize through the hotel.

The location was stunningly beautiful, the breakfast was lovely. We chose to eat at the restaurant every night as the food and wine were exceptional. We have eaten in Michelin starred places but this was better, outstanding even as they used mainly local produce, and had an extensive local wine selection to pair with the menu. All the staff were amazing. Ivan on the reception was brilliant and hat's off to Kelton who really looked after us during our stay, he was an outstanding lovely chap who couldn't do enough for us, he is an asset to the hotel. He made us feel really special. The hotel is in a fantastic location on Isola Bella with views of the Alps from the restaurant terrace and room balcony. Six stars!

So easy to find and access from the ferry boats. The staff were all friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Even though we did not book the best room it was attractive and comfortable with a little balcony overlooking the roofs and alleys. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Isola Bella, and eating in the hotel’s excellent restaurant.

The room was hot when we arrived but once we turned on the air conditioning it soon cooled down. Noisy in the early morning if you sleep with the windows open.

All round this was an amazing stay - the staff, the location, the views, the food and our room all exceeded our expectations. (our room had a lake view and a large balcony). The presentation of the meals and the views from the restaurant were exceptional. Our train was late and so we missed the last ferry (i.e. from Carciano) - the hotel staff organised a ride we were on our way within minutes.

Perhaps would be good to make it easier to find television stations in English. (We've been surprised by the cost of eating out in Europe generally - i.e. not just here.) Not a fault with the hotel - walked from the train station to the ferry terminal (Carciano) on the road - there was no footpath for most of the way. If we'd known we could've taken another route - a bit longer but with footpaths.

Our room was lovely with a wonderful balcony with lake view. Breakfast was very good with a wide continental selection, you could also ask for an omelette. We loved walking around the island once all the day trippers had left in the evening. Catching the boats to Stresa was easy and we hired a moped from Stresa Bike rental to explore for a day around the lake.

The restaurant was lovely but as we were there for 3 nights and it was the only place to eat I the evenings we would really have liked the opportunity to have a simple pizza or pasta dish maybe to eat on our balcony one evening rather than a full meal.

What a cute and cosy hotel on a beautiful island on the lake! It’s has the balance of both enough to sightsee ( the palace n garden are a must and are the highlight of isola bella island); and restaurants. I’m glad I chose to stay here, the commute to Stresa and the other islands are easy by ferry, which runs plenty and are always on time. Rooms are very clean and I had a lake view which was lovely to wake up to each morning. Staff of the hotel are so warm and friendly they’ve made my stay a great experience.

The location is superb with great views of the lake. The decor of the hotel. Staff were exceptional. So helpful and friendly especially Ivan on receptuon. And the lady in dining room at dinner. Didnt get her name. Food was delicious for dinner and breakfast. Fridge and tea making facilities in room. Really comfy bed. Great shower.

Very quite in the evening when boats stop. I like to have a walk after dinner but no where to walk. A bit Expensive for solo guest.

Staff was great! Ivan at the front desk was very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Room was comfortable as was the bed. Was very quiet at night.

Small island, you had to take a water taxi to get anywhere after 7, no standard water ferry available. The only restaurant open after 5 pm was the hotel restaurant. Nothing open at night. If you wanted any night life you had to take a water taxi and they weren't easy at times to find
