This visit was the second time we visited "White Lilac", the first time being 2022. As in 2022, our stay was absolutely wonderful. The beautiful location and view, the amazing building and the clean and well-equipped rooms make it a great starting point for many day trips, but the beautiful premises make it worthwhile to "stay in" as well. The breakfast ist very diverse and fresh. Although it's located outside of Arona, the vibrant centre of Arona can be reached by car within five minutes. The main roads and highway are reached within five to ten minutes.

Visiting the region with an electrical car can be quite a hassle, as barely any public charging points are available (next and only supercharger in the area is in Stresa) and if so, the maximum speed is quite low. For this reason, an on-site charging point could be of added value, but is no absolute necessity.

Beautiful scenery and a good location, few minutes by car to Piazza del Popolo and privateparking. . Breakfast was delicious, with local good quality products. In addition the friendly, sincere lady working at the breakfast service made one feel well taken care of. ❤️ The room was clean, elegant, aesthetically amazing. The pool was a great extra during a hot day.

We would have preferred to use the pool also for a morning swim before check-out. At this time it wasn't allowed because it was being cleaned by a robot.

We've discovered a real gem booking this property for a short stay which is located over the lake and a paradise stay deserving 11 out of 10 ! We stayed in a fantastic large and perfect room with a view on the lake and gorgeous swimming pool and garden, including every detail that might count such as coffee machine, mineral water, quality toiletries etc ... for a very decent price. Breakfast was just exquisite and made to order, local natural products such as cheeses, yoghurt, cakes, nuts and freshly squeezed orange juice ! Service was amazing also ! There were friendly and professional staff available at all times. Lovely private car park inside the property available. Last but not least, Donatella was a great host and looking after us and answered every question in French (!) and make our stay unforgettable, therefore a big thank you to her and I highly recommend her place.

Wonderful stay that exceeded all expectations! Despite the late arrival we have received a warm and personal welcome by Donatella, who gave us an introduction to the property and some tips for the late dinner. Our room was very spacious and cozy, comfortable bed and double doors to the bedroom cancelling all the noise allowed us to have an amazing sleep and rest. The property is very charming and well decorated which contributed to the over all comfort of the stay. The views from the villa are stunning! The breakfast was delicious, and we loved having it by the fireplace. We would love to come back here!

Such a wonderful place to stay … perfect for a few days relaxing. Donatella and Simon were so friendly and helpful, and all the staff we met were clearly very happy to be there too. Every need was catered for - and the breakfast was delicious every day. The garden is gorgeous, with lots of places to sit. We would thoroughly recommend White Lilac.

There was nothing we didn’t like, although you would probably need a car to go exploring.

My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at White Lilac B&B, and we had a fantastic experience. The location is superb - just a stone's throw away from the stunning Lake Maggiore, making it a great base to explore the area. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a direct access to the terrace, which was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of tasty options to choose from, and we particularly appreciated the availability of plant-based milk for our coffee. Speaking of breakfast, we were delighted that we were able to enjoy it outside on the terrace when the weather permitted. It was the perfect way to start our day, with a view of the lake and the lovely garden. Overall, we had an excellent stay at White Lilac B&B, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The location, clean and comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfast with plant-based milk and terrace seating make this B&B a standout choice for your next trip to Lake Maggiore.

Breakfast was great! Location has wonderful serroundings outside the center of the town. The owner Donatella went out of her way to provide us with everything we needed. A beautiful pool and spa area. A beautiful lake view room!

Shower was beautiful and could have been more practical. Bed could have been more comfortable.

Great location and views! Clean and comfortable accommodation! We stayed at the apartment, which has a small private garden, where we enjoyed the sun, the lake views and some wine. Donatella and Simon are great hosts, thank you for pleasant stay!

Amazing old villa with modern design, great breakfast, super friendly owners, closed gate parking. I would definitely recommend everyone coming here and will come again myself.

The car charger at the parking unfortunately did not work, when we arrived. It would be very comfortable to be able to charge the car at the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at The White Lilac. Donatella and Simon make you feel very welcome and at home! The villa is beautiful, surrounded by a well kept garden, a lovely swimming pool and private parking. We received great information from Simon, on sightseeing trips in the area. The beds were of very good quality and the breakfast was very good, with homemade jams and cakes, served in the lovely garden with a view of Lago Maggiore. We loved it!
