Very nice small family-run hotel. Andrea was very helpful and nice. Our split-floor room was spacious, and the view was amazing. The pool area was either empty or almost empty most of the time, so it felt like we had a private pool. The restaurant was great, but you need to book a table way in advance. An amazing place for a quiet and relaxed stay for a few days.

WiFi was painfully slow (but stable). We booked a table for dinner for the first night but decided to go by ear for the next time, but when we decided to go again there was no table available for like a week. Maybe a system with "first dibs" for hotel guests should be devised. Continental breakfast could use some variation day-to-day.

The greatest thing about this stay was the super friendly and helpful staff! They helped us arrange a tour on the lake, find nice restaurants and arranged transport to and from the hotel. Breakfast was really good as well: you can order any kind of eggs at your table, which is beautifully set and has a great view over the lake. The pool was nice and private and the rooms were decorated beautifully and had a really authentic / old school vibe with different colors for each rooms. All in all a great stay!

Nothing really. One thing to recommend (nothing to do with the hotel): book a car to drive around the lake and towns, as there are not many taxi's and they are relatively pricy.

The room had a stunning view of the lake and was spacious and well-furnished. It also had a balcony overlooking the lake and beautiful manicured grounds. The bathroom was luxurious, with fluffy towels, a Frette robe, and lovely soap and lotion. The balcony had a small table and chairs for guests to enjoy the view. The breakfast was a traditional Italian meal, served formally, and any special requests were accommodated. The restaurant for dinner was exceptional and intimate, with a gourmet dining experience, a lovely wine list a knowledgeable Sommelier, and expertly served. This family-run hotel is well-managed, with friendly and accommodating staff, and the Family is charming. The location is outstanding. It was the perfect way to end our vacation.

A beautiful setting in a quaint town, yet close to all the major attractions via an easy ferry ride. The pool is great and the chef has some unique take on Italian local dishes.

Two minor suggestions: 1. WiFi coverage throughout the resort using one WiFi name instead of multiple logins when moving between locations. 2. Small glass enclosure to the showers so water does not go all over the floor.

Unforgettable! Having stayed in numerous hotels around the world, I can confidently say that I have never come across such an extraordinary level of service: 1. Geographically, it is situated in a breathtakingly green and beautiful area right next to a large lake (lake major). This location makes it an undeniable oasis of relaxation, and it also offers easy access to the islands in the lake. 2. The hotel itself boasts impeccably maintained green spaces that are truly exemplary. Every photo I took could easily be framed and displayed on a wall. My room was exceptionally beautiful, and when I opened the window, I was greeted with a scene that can only be described as a living and dynamic masterpiece of beauty. 3. While the hotel may not be a modern building, its Italian identity adds a delightful charm to the overall experience. I was glad that it wasn't modern because it allowed me to feel the authenticity of an Italian family-run business. 4. The hotel manager, fluent in English and French languages, (I don't know whether he likes to mention his name here or not) can only be described as an angel. I have never encountered such exceptional service in any of my previous trips. Not only did the staff adhere to all hotel etiquette, but the hotel manager also provided unwavering support in every situation that arose, treating me like a close friend. They went above and beyond, from giving a ride and providing me with printed maps for train routes to lending me a jacket on a cold day. Such unique and extraordinary hospitality is something I had never witnessed or heard of before.

Lovely old property with traditional style, charming staff and wonderful views over the lake. Excellent breakfast.

This is not the hotels fault but on the Friday night we stayed the local bar on the lake had a very loud DJ set going - not great ambience for such an elegant restaurant and hotel.

Beautiful grounds, fantastic staff, and 5 star food worthy of any top class restaurant. Special mention to Andrea, he was very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to return and use all the extra facilities we didn't have time to use on our short visit (pool, steam room etc). The room was in keeping with the rustic nature of the grounds and hotel and even though we didn't request a lake view we enjoyed lovely scenery overlooking the lake.

We booked a one night stay and wished we would have stayed longer.

Such a perfect hotel. Location, pool, room, staff, restaurant all made for a lovely few days. Very large rooms with great views. The restaurant was a draw for people from all around it seems and rightly so. Great to sit out on the veranda and enjoy great service food and views. Felt very special.

Bed not the comfiest.

Amazing location with views over the lake, our own relaxing chairs outside. The infinity pool (unheated) with sauna and steamroom were great. The food was amazing. A very calm, quiet, relaxing place (note we were outside of high season).

The room decor wasn't our style.

Amazing staff, especially the man who served breakfast and checked us in and out of our room. A true gentleman with a passion for hospitality. The rooms were large and well put together, we even had a little lake view even though we hadn't booked such a room. The pool was clean with an amazing view over the lake. Lovely restaurant, however, at least for us, not for every night (quite expensive).

Upon arrival, the room smelled like cigarette smoke (probably from the previous occupants). It went away quickly but was quite disappointing at first. The matres was very firm.
