The staff was really great. The guy from reception was really obliging, gave us a lot of useful information. The room was nice and spacious, with a frige we gladly used. The balcony of our room provided a view over the lake and the neighboring mountain. The premises include a restaurant and we could have a good meal in the evening. I was happy with the parking place since I travelled by car. The hotel aslo has a nice pool. Great value for money.

Maybe the rooms could a bit renewed. The fruniture in my room was a bit "outdated". There is a strange politics with respect to closing the main doors and accessing the hotel during night time. Fortunately I didn't have to remember it since I wasn't too late when returning.

A picturesque pleasant hotel with a swimming pool. Rooms equipped with everything you need. Working air conditioning. Rooms with balconies overlook the pool and parking lot (but not the lake). Breakfast has a decent selection of savory and sweet dishes, plus fruit, and good coffee from the machine. Restaurant and pizzeria right next to the hotel. It's more of a short stopover than a vacation. The lake is not as close as it might seem from the map.

We found our stay at Lo Scoiattolo very pleasurable. The friendly staff looked after us very well and answered all our questions promptly and in detail. The breakfast was excellent and the ladies serving in the breakfast room were friendly and attentive.

The place is gorgeous but could probably do with a refresh. The fridge in our room was not the greatest, though it kept things reasonably cold.

It is a lovely hotel with nice rooms. It was very clean, the staff were really friendly. The rooms were a good size and even had a little fridge. The shower was good. A nice location with good views from above the hotel (ask to go out the emergency exit on the top floor, you go up a few steps and get a great view of all the lakes and mountains around). There is a lovely pizza restaurant next door, we couldn't try the pizzas though because we are coeliac.

No issues or complaints at all. Just be aware that the beds are really firm, this is normal for Europe. Also the pool is not heated so it is quite chilly when going for a morning swim, wakes you up really well though.

We have been there for the last three years. Great staff, room had four beds and we could sleep well with the AC. Also, the little swimming pool was a great way to distract us during the stay

Nice view overlooking the lake, carpark,clean bed, and decent breakfast. Really good value for money. Lovely staff. The same hotel in Stresa will be 50 eur more expensive. Will come back.

For money paid, nothing really.

Amazing value for money. We were a family of 4 (4 year old and 2 year old) sharing a family room. Hotel pool was an absolute hit. staff friendly and welcoming. Free parking outside and restaurant literally next door was so handy for a pizza one night. We were there during mid 30 degrees C heat (mid June) and so it was warm in the room with the Italian guidelines of 25 minimum room temp - but that's for all hotels I think. Breakfast was fine, plenty of items and they bring fresh croissants to the table. The little village it is in is so so beautiful (about 10 min walk max) - picturesque & locals using the cafe / bar etc. Woukd recommend the little ice cream shop called Pinocchio - lovely friendly owner and amazing ice cream. You do need a car to explore the area from the hotel. Woukd definitely recommend staying here for the pool, value for money and welcoming staff :)

Nothing other that I woukd love air con below 25 degrees - but same everywhere in Italy I think

Not a complaint, a little property a little old & worn, but that was reflective of the good price main doors were key locked in evening without warning, only access was fire doors

Closed to a restaurant, they are in a wonderful location, and Stresa and Arona are easy to reach

They have a swimming pool
