Location was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful view from our bedroom.

Unhappy that guests not staying at the hotel were able to use the pool, sunbeds and gardens. At certain times the areas were full of families with young children screaming, yelling and dive bombing into the pool. Was disappointing for a hotel I’d been assured was ‘adult focussed’.

The breakfast was wonderful It was self service with a great selection of foods It was very clean and the tables cleared instantly when a person had finished The staff were very good particularly the elfin haired female waitress as she was very pleasant with a lovely smile

The hotel towels were very thin and not fluffy and luxurious as expected but the robe was lovely There was only one receptionist who was polite and friendly the rest were very Curt and abrupt with no smile Having to pay to just open the mini bar fridge was ridiculous - that was without even drinking from it!! Even if you touched a bottle and slightly moved it you would have to pay - absolutely stupid!

Regina Palace is a beautiful, art nouveau hotel, it’s like stepping back in time with lovely antique furniture and grand chandeliers. Its position overlooking the lake is perfect. We walked to and from the hotel from the train station which is a straightforward route, 600 metres away. On early arrival (to store our luggage) we were extremely pleased and grateful for an early check in and also a room upgrade to an elegant lake view room with a balcony and view. Our room was enormous, extremely clean, with both a bath and shower. All the staff were extremely pleasant and very happy to assist. The breakfast is simply amazing and the location is superb, we sat looking out onto the lake which was perfect. The wellness area, grotto and pool was beautifully warm and so relaxing. We had a perfect stay and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending and returning for a longer stay.

Beautiful Italian style hotel where the saying 'less is more', certainly does not apply. It is opulent in places. Breakfast was excellent and the terrace a beautiful setting. Aperitivo with our evening cocktails was like a 3 course meal! Position of hotel could not be better and very dog-friendly. Parking so convenient.

Not a lot really. Wish we could have afforded a lake view room. Area outside lift on our floor was a service area with laundry baskets, and some maybe store rooms with run down decoration. Also, the lifts were madly slow arriving.

Both pools were well maintained and not very crowded. There is a wonderful Grill near the pool which is excellent for lunch. Fabio and his staff did an excellent job with the pool and grill areas. The breakfast was ample and beautifully presented. There was a wide selection to suit the many different nationalities in the hotel. Staff from reception to breakfast room to pool were very cordial and welcoming. We had an aperativo in the bar and it was like being in another period. Beautiful Belle Epoque furniture and wonderful cocktails. Room was comfortable and immaculate.

The aesthetic beauty of this hotel, from its lobby to the front gardens to its hotels, staircases, the back huge garden with its fountains and pools and thousands of flowers, the corridors - it was just magnificent and although I've travelled quite abit i would say this was easily one of the most Aesthetically pleasing hotels I've ever stayed in. You truly feel like a Royal. Even just looking at it from the outside - you would see tourists actually taking photos of this iconic hotel. And i was staying there! Grinning broadly from my superb 5th floor room with a view of the lake. Yes i was given a lovely upgrade and i'm very thankful - I will be back for sure.

Although this hotel is unbelievably gorgeous, I had to give it an 8 out of 10. The food was disappointing. And overpriced. Right from the breakfast to the food at the bar which took forever to arrive to the food ordered in the evening in my room. Very overpriced for the average quality. It was strange to have average quality food for such a beautiful location and building. And the staff also seemed very stressed. Which I understand - there could be heavy days and it seems when I stayed there something wrong was going on. The vibe was clearly off. But that's understandable. It happens we're not robots. But the food....needs improvement to match such a glorious palatial building.

The spa is very beautifully designed, as is everything else in this hotel. The breakfast was great. The room was a little small for three people (a family with a 12-year-old child), but it was spacious enough. The view from the room is amazing.

The main thing we did not like is that there is no free parking, and availability on the paid lot is not guaranteed. It costs 20 EUR per day, which is quite a lot to add to the cost of the stay.

We regularly staying in this wonderful hotel (6th time) as we just love it here. Very friendly staff, great pool, fantastic breakfast and our room was superb!

We do not really understand why people, that come by car and stay in the hotel, need to pay a daily parking fee of 20 Euro's. Understandably external users need to pay for parking. Also a 40 Euro fee for charging a hybrid car (100 km radius) is a little over the top. It would be more fair to make a difference between Hybrids and 100% electric cars.

The location is fantastic. A few minutes from the main part of town and right across the street from the Lake. Breakfast was also great. The pools and sauna were nice. The flowers around the grounds were beautiful.

The staff was friendly but not overly helpful. My daughter and I got stuck in an elevator. I called the hotel and they said they would send someone to fix it. About 5 minutes later it started to run again but it was very scary and a very long 5 minutes. We also had a repair man in our room when we got back from the pool. He said someone called for him. When I said no he left. He obviously had keys but I was not sure what he was doing in there.

The vibe of the hotel is amazing, as is the indoor pool & wellness (had a lovely massage), the bar, staff, piano in the lobby and at night in the bar are all super nice.

Beds weren't that comfortable, no suitable power socket for a few of my appliances (like my hairdryer), the shower is outdated and not that comfortable.
