Excellent Room. Newly Renovated and modern. comfortable bed and nice shower. Lake view was gorgeous. Included breakfast was great with a fantastic view of the lake. A bottle of spring water provided complimentary in the room. Yes, we would definitely be coming back here in the future.

Everything about the room was great. It is on an island so you have to plan your ferry crossing. The good news is there are many ferries per day and I believe there is water taxi service to the island also. There is no kitchen or fridge. It is a hotel room.

Belvedere is a great choice for me and my family. The food, hotel room, services everything is clean and amazing 🤩.

What a gorgeous escape and magical place, tucked away on an Italian island. The ferry was fun, even in the rain, and it was a great adventure with my parents, who have stayed here a few times. I paid less than they did, so they had a fantastic corner view of the lake room, which I recommend. My room was comfortable, clean, and private, and the bathroom was spacious, unlike others I encountered during my trip. I truly enjoyed the three nights here, and the local shops/kiosks and meandering streets/paths are delightful. The restaurant at the hotel is a gem: our fish dishes were so yummy, and the service was good. This is perfect for a special occasion. +I wanted to buy and eat everything!

The hotel dinners were expensive for my budget, but my parents graciously treated me (with wine, drinks, and more)! There are also limited options for other night meals on the island. Everything closes up early, so be prepared. If you want to explore other islands and the mainland, you will need to depend on the ferry schedule and prices, or book expensive smaller boats.

Amazing location. We stayed only one night as the hotel was fully booked on the second night. But we would love to come back and stay for 3 nights. The only downside is that you can’t take a car with you so either travel without a car or leave your car in Stresa. We did the latter and left the luggage in the boot. It was all fine when we returned thank goodness.

Great view, good breakfast. We stayed in two different rooms, for me the room on the second floor was much nicer then the room with the huge balcony. The L'occitane products are amazing. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was probably the most delicious food we had on the island.

Nespresso machine and coffe would be great in all rooms, we only had it int he room with the huge balcony. The huge balcony is unique, but you don't have much privacy.

The hotel more than fulfilled our expectations. Price-performance ratio is right. We definitely recommend booking a room with lake view. The extra charge is definitely worth it. The view of the lake at sunrise in the morning is priceless. A very special stay in a very romantic place. The room was nicely furnished and very clean. Cosmetic products in the bathroom were from l'Occitane.

Unfortunately, we were woken up every morning by the sound of the rubbish boat. The breakfast was okay, but could have a better selection.

Excellent boutique hotel! Loved the rooms they are updated and clean and feel luxurious for a very reasonably priced hotel on a beautiful island! We appreciated breakfast and the breakfast service as well as lovely views. I painted while on the island and ran out of white paint and the owner Paco was kind enough to get it for us from Verbania! I was really touched with the gesture. Highly recommend this place and we’re definitely coming back to Hotel Belvedere if we return to the Lake District!

Three notable aspects: the warmth and friendliness of nearly all the staff (it would be all the team if the maître’d would smile occasionally!); the cleanliness of our room and the hotel generally; and the excellence of the restaurant. We were a early arriving, but Cristina could not have been more helpful and charming in settling us in with a few drinks while we waited for our room to be ready. We were lucky to have the room with a large terrace that offered spectacular views over the lakeside and the chance to relax. But perhaps the jewel in the crown was the hotel’s superb restaurant. The menu and wine list offer a good range of beautifully cooked and presented courses, and it was a treat to work our way through the choice of home-made deserts. The wines were excellent and fairly priced, and the service impeccable.

A small but important improvement would be the designation of a bar area for the exclusive use of hotel guests.

The hotel is in an amazing location, perfectly set on the island with stunning views of the lake. We stayed in the terrace room which had a huge terrace which was perfect to lounge on. Super friendly staff, an incredible restaurant, really comfy beds and a great shower. All was great!

Awesome Location and a very cute hotel. The balconies have a great view of the laggo magiore. The room is small but have everything I need. The restaurant is also great. Great view, delicious meals

The breakfast is a little disappointing compared to all the other things. Small options, long waiting time if something is out, extra fee for eggs or omelette
