We had a lovely welcome from Reception. It is a family run hotel and has a family feel which we really enjoyed. Quite old fashioned in a nice way. There is a cute pool at the side with loungers for a rest after exploring. The hotel is in the quiet streets just off the main roads so very quiet at night. There is a stunning church en route back which we kept popping into - so peaceful and historic. Breakfast good and plentiful. A lot of local people were holidaying there - I think that says it all. Its a little home from home. Great secure parking in a locked garage beside hotel. Viewing place on top floor. There was a light festival on when we were there, we got the most amazing view from there on recommendation from the lovely reception guy. Plenty of lovely bars and restaurants in the vicinity within walking distance. Walk back a street to where the locals eat, there are some really nice ones if you prefer to get away from the main tourist spots, although they're all good.

Fabulous hotel in a fantastic location. It is very central for attractions, restaurants and the ferry terminal. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool and pool area are lovely and the pictures don't do it justice. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The air con was great. Breakfast was great with a wide continental selection. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Very pleasant hotel in a quiet street. Views of the lake and hills behind from our balcony and from the balcony area with seating outside our room. Comfortable beds and an excellent shower. Everything at hand - just a few minutes walk down to Lake Maggiore, nice restaurants and the ferry port for crossing the lake and visiting the islands. An added bonus was the location of the very friendly and helpful little museum and tourist office only a few paces away! And finally, a special thank you to Laura on reception, who always greeted us with smiles and kindly helped us when we were struggling with an online booking!

Location was great and the breakfast was fine. The staff were also very friendly.

We both slept very badly as the beds were as hard as a board! They were perfectly made up with pristine white cotton sheets but the mattresses were just awful. We had the balcony doors and shutters left open slightly and the various noises from outside were unfortunately also disturbing!

The hotel is very close to the ferry that will take you on the lake, within walking distance away. Staff at the Hotel were very helpfull giving us tips to avoid motorway on our way to Como. Breakfast was very good too.

The room had no kettle to make some coffee and beds could be better. Other than that we really liked our stay there.

The breakfast, as simple as it was, was very good. I love the stuffed croissants, they are really great. The location right in the center is very convenient, with many restaurants in walking distance.

I got "lucky", as the bed had new mattresses. Unfortunately for me, as they were new, they were very hard and therefore I did not sleep that well. But, this is a temporary condition, and it is good that they switch mattresses.

Great location with secure parking, pool and easy stroll down the hill to the lake. Beds were the best I have slept on in the last 3 weeks of travel. Aircon was invaluable.

Pools are never big enough for me. The breakfast was basic but adequate.

The location is great; it is very close to the lake and restaurants. Parking is available, including in the underground garage (extra payment). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hot chocolate in the bar was very good and also breakfast was good.

Great location, easy to locate on a very quiet street, lovely staff, comfortable bed and excellent shower. Stunning view of lake from the balcony and from the roof top seating area. All very clean. Really good breakfast. Lots of parking space. We were allowed to leave our luggage after checkout which was much appreciated. Would stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, room was very clean and comfortable. Good location for exploring the region, close enough to the lake shore to get to everything but just far enough away to be peaceful. Breakfast is all you need and you lounge about in the pool area with drinks and snacks when you need to chill out. Very highly recommended
