The breakfast was good, the room was nice and the lake view was totally amazing. Overall the hotel was very nice and clean.

But... Being a 4 star hotel and paying almost 400€ per night, you would have expected more. For example, it seemed, that the hotel wanted to charge extra from everything. Gym would have cost 12€/person, basic sauna also 12€/person, to get glasses to your room was 5€ etc. Well, the inside swimming pool was free. There was also construction work going on in the inner garden, so there was some noise and the outside pools was not in use. And, somehow we got the feeling that most of the personnel didn't like their job and they were not there for the customers. In the 4 star hotel, you would expect great service and very friendly personnel. Because of this, I don't think we're going to visit this hotel anymore, as there are many other options in the near area.

Loved all the amenities. Found breakfast to be overpriced so we had lovely breakfasts offsite for a lot less. But the pool and beach area were excellent for kids/families. The property is huge and beautiful! We had a great time. The location is perfect for convenience. I was also able to do laundry just a five minute walk down the street. The ferry to the islands is next to the property as well and a market happens there as well.

Our phone either didn’t work or the staff didn’t pick it up for room service. I had to call from my cell home to general number for all properties and they transferred me to room service. However the food delivery was very prompt!

Incredible grounds...beautifully well cared gardens. Superb water fountains and features. Stunning location with amazing Lake & Mountain views. Has its own beach and access to the Lake . Close proximity to Lake ferries.

Sharing the hotel with Conferences, business meetings and many large groups. Also not keen on seeing dogs on leads in hotel corridors and children sharing the swimming pool sometimes(although prohibited) with play floats/toys. Essentially a large hotel which renders itself less exclusive as a consequence.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel and stayed for 6 nights so knew what to expect. We had a side view overlooking the mountains and the lake towards Stresa. The rooms are a bit on the small side but we did not find it a problem. Since our last visit the hotel has spent alot of money on revamping the outside areas which we felt is impressive. Baveno itself has also moved forward and offers much more in the way of eating and drinking venues. We have used the pools in the past which are both indoors and outdoors and very good.

The parking at 20 Euros seems like the going rate for this grade of hotel - but feel it would be easier if added to the final bill paid at the end of your stay. Collecting a ticket each time you enter and leave and paying is a bit of a pain. Breakfast at 25 Euros each is a bit steep and we do not eat alot at this time having had a large evening meal. So a quick croissant, coffee and juice at the cafe a few doors away at 8 - 12 Euros for both suited our needs.

Everything ! We loved each minute we spent in this fantastic hotel. It has everything you wish for, very well maintained, beautiful finishings, Italian style deco, friendly stuff and spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable, good insonorisation of the rooms, cleaning ladies were great, beach was very well prepared each morning, breakfast was very fresh and the views are simply breathtaking !

Nothing really, just a little turnoff was the payable gym. Have never seen it before.

This place was beautiful, and we had a great balcony with a view of the lake. It was an enormous resort with multiple pools, a gym, sauna, restaurants/bars....it also had an excellent location right in the heart of Baveno. Cafes, a pharmacy, etc. are all right across the street.

I would say that the air conditioning wasn't sufficient. We had that thing cranked as high as it could go, and it still felt too warm in the room. Also, they do nickel and dime you for a lot of things. You had to pay an extra 12 euros to use the gym each day, parking was very expensive, and breakfast was also quite costly at 25 euros each.

It is a fantastic elegant hotel, very spacious , spotlessly clean, great location, able to walk into town, able to enter the lake directly from the hotel. The pools were both large and a nice depth for us. All of the staff were very polite and friendly .The rooms were the biggest that we have stayed in, an very plush,quiet and elegant.Paid underground car park made parking very simple.The grounds are magnificent and once again elegant. Bathroom was huge with separate shower and bath. Quiet and efficient air conditioning.

Minor quibbles really, at first the price of the car park seemed a little excessive but it made sense really. No kettle in the room for making tea or coffee.Breakfast was too pricey for us, a family of 9, would have been over £100 every day, but plenty of options nearby. Perhaps not enough sunbeds by the pool, but not really enough room for anymore anyway. Drinks were expensive, asked for a small beer at the pool bar,without specifying which one ,and was charged for the most expensive, 9.50 I think, which was around 3.50 anywhere else.

The hotel is set right on the lake side with stunning views across the lake. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool and a beach location with lake access for swimming. A stunning restaurant on site with a delicious menu. The rooms are comfortable and space and some boast those incredible lake views.

The staff are helpful however they could do with some more training in efficiency and professional ways to act with each in view of clients.

Very clean and well organized, the pool area is beautiful, service around pool area also great. Breakfast was good but i missed some sorts of cheese. Reception works really fine and fast they are also helpfull. The garden was so beautiful and the view from Lago Maggiori waa just stunning

Gym is not included in the price, I find it very annoying :( You need to pay some extras fees that are also nowhere advertised.
