The hotel exceeded our expectations with the combination of a nice room, helpful staff, amazing pool/relaxation area, and finally, the picturesque location. We were the most excited about spending some time at the pool, sunbathing, and playing some table tennis. It was also great that you could order drinks and snacks to have next to the pool. The breakfast buffet was also very tasty with a wide choice of sweet and savory foods. I also can mention that the wifi signal was very good both in the room and also around the pool, which is often a problem in hotels. The hotels location is also ideal to explore the nearby islands and the added bonus is that the crowds for the ferries are smaller than in the neighboring Stresa. Finally, a huge thanks to the staff for making our stay even better - they made it an excellent birthday gateway for us!

Amazing lake views from our balcony. Room was small but perfectly clean with a new bathroom, ideal for a long weekend. Pool area is great to cool off and set back from the road so nice and peaceful. Looks just like the photos. Location is handy for all the ferries - 2 min walk from the hotel, we didn’t need a car to get around. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return

The room was quiet

My major problem with the hotel is they did not tell me that they close the doors at night. There is night staff on but I could not see any bell or door entry system. I eventually went to the car park and managed to buzz someone to let me in. However that turned out to be a resident who then contacted the night staff. The breakfast room is large and items are spread out far and wide. I am disabled and I found this an inconvenience, especially when you had to search for where items were.

Hotel Beau Rivage is nicely on the waterfront. We had a twin room with sofabed, lots of space, v clean. Freshly decorated in light greys. Air con worked well and the wifi. Friendly reception and housekeeping staff. Fridge in the room. The pool out the back is lovely, 1.4m deep, quite a few sunbeds with cushions and views of the lake too.

Comfy memory foam single mattress, but a bit small - I think 2'6" rather than 3", made for a disturbed night. The hotel is near the church, whilst we heard the bells when by the pool, we didn't hear them in our room. Breakfast was ok, crossaints could be fresher.

What a fantastic stay! The hotel is located walking distance from the train station and town centre, and literally a few meters from the lake with the best views. We absolutely loved our room, with extra space in the living area and glorious views from the third floor. The reception and restaurant staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with every request. The bed super comfy and the room always well clean. Unfortunately it was too cold (March) to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, but it still looked very nice! The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations, especially considering that it's a 3 star and also cost-effective

Maybe the breakfast quality and variety can improve, however I understand in high season things might be different! It was still a good breakfast, just not excellent.

I would have liked to have a few tea bags and coffee in the room. There is a kettle and 2 cups but no tea or coffee. Some cushions for the chairs outside would also be nice It’s the little touches that make a big difference

Breakfast excellent choice location first class very helpful staff pool fabulous overlooking the islands walk out of the hotel bars and restaurants just over the road all very good. Also close to where you get the boat trips across to the islands Pescatori fab place for lunch if you like natural beauty this is it this hotel is the place to stay

Gorgeous hotel in the perfect location. We loved Baveno and this hotel right in the heart of it was lovely. We were there during a hot spell and the pool was so lovely to make the most of. Breakfast was great, lots on offer and lovely to sit in the garden. Our room had a view over the lake which was just stunning. Very much enjoyed my birthday spent here!

We could not fault our stay at the wonderful Hotel Beau Rivage, everything was perfect. First mention must be for the staff who were all so friendly and helpful, and very patient with my attemps at speaking Italian! The pool was brilliant super clean with both sun and shady areas. Breakfast was varied and very tasty and we could always find a lovely cold aperol spritz in the bar. Loved our room and glad we paid extra and had a balcony and a view of the lake - even the pillows were great (and I'm a bit weird about pillows!). Location wise a matter of metres from bus and boat stops with the train just a small walk further. As we didn't have a car we found we could get around easily. Just a wonderful place and a perfect stay.

The hotel has a great position in front of the lake, the room was super comfortable and the staff has been lovely and professional. We had chance to enjoy the pool too. Overall I loved the vibes and atmosphere, the staff availability and kindness has made the difference!

The food provided for dinner could definitely improve. Also the pool may be a bit too small during peak time and at full capacity.
