Hotel Beau Rivage is nicely on the waterfront. We had a twin room with sofabed, lots of space, v clean. Freshly decorated in light greys. Air con worked well and the wifi. Friendly reception and housekeeping staff. Fridge in the room. The pool out the back is lovely, 1.4m deep, quite a few sunbeds with cushions and views of the lake too.

Comfy memory foam single mattress, but a bit small - I think 2'6" rather than 3", made for a disturbed night. The hotel is near the church, whilst we heard the bells when by the pool, we didn't hear them in our room. Breakfast was ok, crossaints could be fresher.

What a fantastic stay! The hotel is located walking distance from the train station and town centre, and literally a few meters from the lake with the best views. We absolutely loved our room, with extra space in the living area and glorious views from the third floor. The reception and restaurant staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with every request. The bed super comfy and the room always well clean. Unfortunately it was too cold (March) to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, but it still looked very nice! The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations, especially considering that it's a 3 star and also cost-effective

Maybe the breakfast quality and variety can improve, however I understand in high season things might be different! It was still a good breakfast, just not excellent.

We could not fault our stay at the wonderful Hotel Beau Rivage, everything was perfect. First mention must be for the staff who were all so friendly and helpful, and very patient with my attemps at speaking Italian! The pool was brilliant super clean with both sun and shady areas. Breakfast was varied and very tasty and we could always find a lovely cold aperol spritz in the bar. Loved our room and glad we paid extra and had a balcony and a view of the lake - even the pillows were great (and I'm a bit weird about pillows!). Location wise a matter of metres from bus and boat stops with the train just a small walk further. As we didn't have a car we found we could get around easily. Just a wonderful place and a perfect stay.

I loved my room. It was exceptionally clean. And I was lucky to get a bathtub which was even better. And the last think which made me absolutely fall in love with this hotel. Is that when I went in the morning to have my breakfast the waiter knew my name. And it was soo amazing because it made me feel like I been coming back to this place soo many times. Every one made me feel home. Thanks to the entire staff. You made my trip even better. I would live to come back.

The hotel has a great position in front of the lake, the room was super comfortable and the staff has been lovely and professional. We had chance to enjoy the pool too. Overall I loved the vibes and atmosphere, the staff availability and kindness has made the difference!

The food provided for dinner could definitely improve. Also the pool may be a bit too small during peak time and at full capacity.

Such a friendly hotel - we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. The room was perfect for our family and they made a huge fuss of our small children. The food was delicious, pool was really great and never crowded and all in all the hotel was a total gem

We found the beds quite hard so didn’t sleep brilliantly well but otherwise nothing to fault.

The hotel is lovely . A little dated in places but hugely comfortable. Overlooking the lake and very close to the hub of the town . Perfecto !!!!

The water pressure in our room 316 was poor , a mere trickle ….. The table & chairs in the small garden need to be a bit more sturdy. Coffee and orange juice at breakfast could be much better .

Great place, free upgrade, free parking, fantastic view over the lake! Our dog was happy in the suite, only € 10 for him per night. He was not allowed in the breakfast and dining area which was no issue for us. Reception service was outstanding.

Great hotel in a lovely location. Hotel had everything we needed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely room (split level suite with lake view). We had a really relaxing stay. Loved the pool area, and the communal areas (lounge etc.) were stylish. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, great location in Baveno for ferry to islands & restaurants. Good buffet breakfast. Very nice swimming pool & relaxing gardens.

Guests allowed to smoke on balcony meaning smoke came into room or we had to shut the door making room very hot.
