This hotel was immaculate and very well maintained. The hotel is in a very good location, only 10mins walk into the centre of the town. Our room had a lake view which was spectacular. The room was a little dated in decor but was very clean and housekeeping was very efficient. The shower had great power and we had clean towels every day. Breakfast was good with a reasonable selection of foods. The staff were very efficient in refilling items. Waiter staff were very pleasant and worked hard to keep the customers happy.

The beds were a little hard for my taste, and the general decor of the property was a little dated. We were not trusted to be given pool towels which seemed a little petty, they had to be registered against the room and a charge made if not returned!

- The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most particularly Adi, he was incredibly warm and gave us much advice. Having people like this in a hotel really makes a huge difference in the experience - The beds were very comfortable and the shower head was very nice. - The little balcony had a wonderful view of the lake - The breakfast was excellent, very fresh and varied. Bonus points to the scrambled eggs. I do not know what is inside, but it was divine.

- The shower did not drain very well, but that can be easily fixed - The gym was not really working, but we were told there were plans to expand the whole section

Good location and excellent views across the lake and to the Borromean Islands. Near the ferry terminal and just a stroll into the town.

The rooms are a bit small but this is reflected in the price and the value is still good. Unfortunately the G7 conference was being held while we ere there. Also, the hotel was inside a security zone so it was a bit like going through Checkpoint Charlie to get back to the hotel. Also the town was swarming with tactical police and security teams so that was a disappointment. This has nothing to do with the hotel at all - they handled it we. Nothing really to complain about at all.

Young girl working at the hotel reception could check her attitude when working with hotel customers, however unstylish etc. they may appear to her 😉.

Everything! The location is spot on, the hotel itself is beautiful, authentically Italian with very friendly and helpful staff. My mum and I(I took her for her 70th birthday) had a lake view room - highly recommend if available as the views are stunning! See pics! The pool area is also wonderful, jets in a jacuzzi area of the pool, lovely loungers and a pool bar. Towels available. Breakfast each morning was perfect, again, wonderful staff and everything you could want for breakfast was there :-)

The hotel is very well situated and offers magnificent views on the lake and isole. The food is superb and rooms are very comfortable and clean. The room cleaners and restaurant staff were exceptional! Although we couldn't use the pool because of poor weather, it is very clean and pleasant.

We would have appreciated a coffee machine , some water and little biscuits in the room. The bar area is very pleasant but live music would have been an additional bonus.

My stay at the hotel was overall very pleasant. The rooms were clean but not so comfortable. The staff were friendly and always available to help with any requests, which made me feel well taken care of. The location was also convenient, very close to city center and local attractions.

Breakfast options were a bit limited, and the Wi-Fi connection was sometimes slow. These were small issues though, and I’d still recommend this hotel for a comfortable and relaxing stay.”

Two young girl at the front desk were useless. They did not know ANYTHING. They were negative. They had no idea about any questions about the city , train station, getting a taxi , recommending a restaurant and so on They keep referring me to senior staff. I did complain to the manger.

This was our first stay at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. Very friendly and attentive staff, a clean and comfortable room and breakfast in a lovely room overlooking the garden and lake.

I didn't give it a 10 because the parking wasn't very practical and the shower could have been better. When you took a shower, it splashed everywhere and you had to move your toiletries around to avoid flooding. But you can book with your eyes closed, it's just a detail.

Super room with a fantastic view over the lake. Bathroom looked as if it just been refitted and was very nice. The room was clean and light. Breakfast was very nice and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room could have been a bit bigger, there was a minibar in the dressing table but the door could not be fully opened as it caught the bottom of the bed.
