Room 206 was spacious with excellent bathroom facilities. The bed was comfortable and the room had plenty of wardrobe space. The room had a balcony which gave an excellent view over the lake. The staff were excellent, friendly and very attentive. The breakfasts offered so much choice and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

A week at Hotel Flora was a great holiday experience for us. The room was spacious, very clean, with enough power outlets and speedy internet. Fantastic view from the balcony, huge bathroom. Special thank you to the staff of the hotel, both reception, restaurant and cleaning lady, they did a great job with a smile, and we always felt welcome. Fabulous breakfast, with great variety of food choices for everyone. Attentive and helping personeel at the breakfast. Parking area with free parking was a great addition to the stay. Proximity to the lake, and the city center just 20 min walk. Exceptional facilities for people with disabilities - we stayed in the room fully equipped for stay of such guests, and the infrastructure of the room and the bathroom, and , the view from the balcony was top class. Pool area which belongs to the hotel was also well maintained, clean, and free to use for guests of the hotel.

Nothing related to the hotel. I wish there was a "do not disturb/ clean my room" paper indicator available to be used for the guests, which would neglect confusion for cleaning in the morning. Some guests like to sleep in more on vacation, and this would help them not to wake up from cleaning services when not needed.

Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating - we were there for a wedding for 5 days so we needed a lot of taxis and they arranged all of it for us. The bed is super comfortable. The room's a little dated but that seems to be the same in most hotels in the area at this price point. We had two balconies with great views. The breakfast options are great. The pool and pool area was impeccably clean. I dont know if we came on a quiet week but we had the pool to ourselves most days. Our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bed linen. We didn't use the restaurant during out stay but the upstairs bar area was clean and modern. We'd definitely stay here again. There's a small shop within a minutes walk from the hotel which was handy.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into town, we knew this though before we stayed and its an easy walk with fantastic views so we didn't mind at all.

Management should be very proud of their friendly staff. Bea at reception was so welcoming and arranged for an early check in which was extremely appreciated after a 13 hour flight from Hong Kong and a 1 hour bus ride from Malpensa. A lovely super efficient Brazilian woman made our times in the dining room very happy. All staff were great but these two made our stay extremely pleasant. As others have written the breakfast alone was worth staying for… outstanding!! The room and bed was very comfortable and kept at just the right temperature. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay.

Lovely hotel and quiet location. Clean rooms and when asked they let me borrow a kettle. Property was 1.5km from the main town centre but there was a lovely promenade walk to get there. Breakfast was amazing with a good selection of fruit, cakes, cereal, meats and cheese and hot food. Swimming pool was clean and fully functional with enough sunbeds. Staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Close to the lake and center, with free onsite parking. Very good breakfast with wide range of foods, good coffee. Comfortable, nice and clean bathroom with free toileteries. Kind staff. Good price for value. Tbis hotel was a perfect choice for our stay.

We couldn't manage the heater in the room, so it was a bit warm, but it wasn't a big problem for us. If you are a light sleeper consider using earplugs as some of the rooms looks to the main road.

The staff were very helpful and were happy to help booking dinner reservations for us. The location is great for people who want to island hop as the ferry to the islands is located a short walk away. The location was quieter than the main town which we prefer with a pleasant walk (15minutes) into the main town meaning each evening we got a beautiful stroll along the promenade to finish the day.

It's a little far out of the main hub of Stressa so either a long walk or expensive taxi. The restaurant not open every evening so had to walk away to restaurants. Plus nearby ferry only goes across to the islands had to go into Stressa for main terminal which is a 20 minute walk.

Everything!, the position, how clean it was, the staff being super helpful and professional, the breakfast was the most extensive we’ve had for a long time with everything from champagne to hot savory to pastries, the meal we had at night was beautifully cooked and presented, we really couldn’t understand why it isn’t a 4 star at least if not higher, would definitely recommend and if we ever pass this way again would stay here

Closeness to Carciano Ferry Station and walks along Lake Maggiore.

I found the rooms were not soundproof and you were able to hear conversations in next room easily. Some rooms with with bathroom fans were very noisy in the next room. Some bathrooms had windows and some not. The fans need attention. The bathrooms were all very new and lovely. The cleaning was very thorough and my housemaid was lovely. Front desk staff were lovely and very accommodating.
