Amazing location with wide open view to the Naples golf amd Sorrento; the sunsets are spectacular. 3 beach restaurants near the hotel, private beach, junior suite is having a lot of space. The staff is incredibly helpfull amd very friendly, the breakfast is very good, suitable for all tastes and preferences. The restaurant of the hotel is very good, also the bar. The free bus to Sorrento should be considered as a plus. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Even if it was a spectacular hotel during the 80s and 90s, it needs a little bit of maintanance. The chairs in the balcony needs replacement. The bathroom also needs a little bit of maintenance, as weel as the walls in the corridors. And the facade needs a little bit of improvent.

The location was perfect, it was marvellous to escape the crowds of Sorrento The room was very comfortable with idyllic views across the Gulf on Naples. There were several wonderfull local seafront restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel. These had waterfront terraces where we could sit and enjoy delicious food, a glass of local wine and watch the stunning sunset in a quiet romantic setting.

The staff were unhelpful, it felt as though they needed training. There was no information on how to organise trips to Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri. We were left to our own devices and when we asked they really had no idea and seemed frustrated to be asked. The hotel experience could have been greatly improved had the staff been friendly, helpful and informed. The hotel itself seemed tired but this could have been a result of Covid.

The hotel is about twenty minutes walk from Meta station, and there's a frequent bus service. It's in a great location right on the beach, where the swimming is good, and has also a large terrace with swimming pool. We had a large comfortable room with a balcony giving a fabulous view over the Bay of Naples, and of sunset over island of Ischia. I was impressed by the courtesy, professionalism and very good level of spoken English of all the staff I came across, and the characterful internal decor of the public areas - the hotel feels like it's had a recent make-over. There are other restaurants and lidos within a short walk. Breakfast was excellent - anything you could want was on offer.

My only criticism is the poor quality of coffee offered with breakfast.

Fantastic view, balcony on the beach. Close to the Amalfi sites but not directly in it so easy access and parking. Nicely serviced beach and pool. Very welcoming receptionist.

Coffee for breakfast was just horrible, powder coffee from a machine which is very non italian, When asked for a proper coffee, a waiter said ok then got me the same coffee. This basically ruined a nicely varied breakfast

The view and location is perfect. A lot of places on this coast are hard to reach by car and are not by the beach. So this is great. The views from the balcony are absolutely beautiful. There was free parking with video security and a gate (also very rare on this coast). The breakfast was very good. The shuttle to Sorrento worked really well. Free sunbeds on the beach (again, very rare in Italy). Wish we could have stayed longer.

The building can definitely use a bit of paint and can use a bit of an update.

lovely place on the beach and out of the busy area. All staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and smiling :) Sunsets on the terrace were my favourite time of day.

It’s an old property that must have been a palace in its day but it needs a lot of work. Lots of damp patches around the inside need attention and have been painted over. Our ceiling in room 312 (suite) was patched up with old boarding.

loved the view & easy access to the beach. restaurant views for sunset drinks also phenomenal

we had a second floor room which had a jacuzzi bath it was clean authentic Italian & spacious however only a tiny balcony and small single door which interrupted the view of the ocean. if I could change anything I would request a room 4/5/6th floor. I did request a swap to downgrade without the jacuzzi but hotel manager said fully booked for the three nights we were staying. very close to pool noise higher room with double doors & large veranda would have been a lot better. that’s my only complaint hotel & cleaning/bar staff were brilliant friendly & accomidate at all timea

Amazing view with access to the private beach which is a big plus in Meta. Hotel keept clean and rooms are very comfortable. There is a shuttle bus to Sorrento or public bus few min walk from the hotel. At the beach you will find few nice restaurants (Note: in Meta some restaurants are closed on Wednesday). We enjoyed our stay a lot and would love to come back there again.

Beautiful hotel right on the sea. Hotel has spectacular details and the service was perfect! Only downfall is that if you walk from the meta station it takes you down 143 steps that you have to carry your luggage down so take the bus to the hotel. However the 143 steps has a great view of the sea and hotels and buildings around

The location is absolutely stunning, one of the best places to wake up and go to sleep, sunsets are amazing! Our room was very spacious and comfortable, very clean. The staff were also very efficient and helpful, they had so much selection for breakfast to suit anyone and very tasty!
