The staff was very warm and helpful. Also, our “room” was actually huge, the size of a small appartment really. There was bedroom, office room and balcony. Very good location, it was quiet neighbourhood, but near the city center and trainstation. We had check in booked for 15, but we arrived at the hotel a lot earlier. The staff let us in the room earlier.

The staff did not speak english, so it would be helpful to know some italian. Nevertheless, the staff managed to communicate with us. Breakfast is not included in the price, it will cost extra 10 euros per person. In my opinion, it is not much, as they offer coffe, tea, fresh bakeries and other goods.

Classically beautiful property with modern amenities like remote controlled A/C. Lovely balcony overlooking a garden. Convenient location for accessing public transit. Extremely good value.

It felt a little unusual not to have staff physically present much of the time (though one can only enter the building if they have a code—it’s not a safety issue). But I was able to use Whatsapp and have my questions answered as late as past 10 pm.

Quiet location, next to a beautiful park that hosts the Sforzesco Castle (by the way, this castle is beautiful with lots of history!). If you love walks, greenery, and quiet, this is the place to be. Literally accessible via walking, cycling, tram, or taxi. Casa doesn't cook, but there are lots of food joints around the corner.

Tiny tv in my room. I better not have it, rather than have something I cant see :-). But hey, I loved the outdoor, so TV doesn't count. If you are too noise sensitive, there is some rail next door, and can be a little upsetting.

My wife and I really enjoyed our five-night stay at Casa Calicantus. Check-in was easy. The hostess and the staff were helpful and extremely friendly. The apartment was located on a quiet street but still convenient to all the attractions by foot or public transit. This will be our first choice for accommodation on our next visit to Milan.

The property and room were clean, we got clean towels every day, the room had also a minifrigider with different types of drinks. It is close to the most attractions and metro. And only 10-15 minutes from Duomo Di Milano!! I do highly recommend Casa Calicantus🥰😍

Excellent location and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Very walkable to every place in the city. It felt comfortable at night walking around the streets and the building felt very secure. Linens were excellent and bed was very comfortable. room was larger than expected with the sitting area. Building had excellent soundproof windows.

It is across the street from the police station which has a wall with Bobwire. A little odd at the beginning, but rather comforting for security. There is no noise associated with it.

Very clean & well kept. Comfortable bed. Downstairs sitting area had beautiful traditional decor. Nice simple breakfast.

My room (#5) had very dim lightning. My room overlooked the street with a wire fence & the police station.

Casa Calicantus is in a great location close to mainline metro and Arco Della Pace which is spectacular. Everything was spotlessly clean, lovely traditional furniture with modern artwork. Comfortable beds with nice linen and plenty of fluffy large towels. All staff we met were very friendly and kind. Breakfast was continental style buffet with choice of beverages and fruit. We were only in Milan for one night but would definitely return to Casa Calicantus if we return to Milan and highly recommend for a quiet authentic stay with good transport links to explore. Thank you !

The ladies are very lovely, Italian like ( she gave us a hug etc) Location is close to bus and restaurants etc Room is a good size, very clean. Comfy bed

No lift. Hot water did not work first evening, but was fixed later. Shower is very small
