The proprietor, Giulio, and Ros are both extremely helpful, very friendly and offered really good recommendations for local valued restaurants, places of interest, near and far in Sicily. Also, for any further information you may require. Breakfast is served in the large kitchen area and on the adjacent terrace, or even to your room if so desired. A very warm and communal atmosphere is experienced and is comparable to sitting amongst family and friends. The property is a 3 minute stroll to the main plaza where cafes, restaurants, shops, promenade, and beaches are located. I strongly recommend this B and B for vacation in Mondello. Transport to and from Palermo airport can be arranged at a very good rate through Giulio with their driver, Fabio, who is very prompt and reliable.

We had a wonderful stay! Giulio and Rosario were fantastic hosts, warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was spotless. The highlight was the large rooftop terrace with its stunning view over Mondello, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and would happily come back.

This is not really a criticism, but rather a small suggestion for improving the service. Even though the hosts put a lot of effort into breakfast and always asked what we would like, I think it might be easier for everyone if there was a small buffet where guests could simply choose what they like.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Sicily! The room was clean, and the shared kitchen and lounge were always accessible. There’s also a rooftop terrace perfect for sunbathing and relaxing, with a stunning view. The beach is just a short walk away. Giulio and Rosario were amazing hosts, they helped us check in even though we arrived at an unusual time, and gave us great recommendations on the best beaches, places to eat, and things to see. They were always ready to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended!

As a group of 6 (young and old) we had a wonderful stay at 'ThePalace', as it offered the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility. Also newly renovated with top facilities. The accommodations had a touch of home that allowed guest to be inside or outside by the lemon trees. The hosts (Guido & Ross)were absolutely fantastic — warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. They gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was made to order and excellent ! A great selection of local restaurants nearby to meet all taste - buds. — fresh, authentic Sicilian cuisine at its best. Another huge plus was the free parking! Perfect for a visit to Palermo during the day and then quiet at night. Only a 20 min bus ride (and the stop is 1 min walk away) If you're looking for a peaceful stay near Palermo with great views, comfort, and wonderful hospitality, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is perfect, close to all the main attractions, yet quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, especially the warm, flaky croissants that were simply amazing. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay — we will definitely come back!

We had such a great time at this B&B! The two hosts were super friendly and helpful – we felt welcome right from the start. They even organized a little birthday surprise for my mom, which was incredibly thoughtful. The apartment was clean, comfy, and perfectly located – just a short walk to the beach and the town center. Breakfast was delicious every morning and a perfect way to start the day. We also got great recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby. All in all, a fantastic stay – would definitely recommend!

We had an excellent stay with Rosario and Giulio. The place was in a great location a short walk from Mondello Beach. Rosario and Giulio were extremely welcoming and helpful. They helped us with restaurant recommendations, booked us a boat trip, gave us advice on the best way to get to Palermo and the local markets, a day trip to Cefalù. Each morning we had a breakfast of fresh filled croissants, and Rosario helped us with the activity we had planned for the day.

The Hosts are fantastic, very helpful and passionate about the area Guilio gave a very detailed breakdown of everywhere we should go in mondello and was available via WhatsApp to answer any questions during our stay. They put out a great welcoming breakfast of filled croissants every day and coffee, the location is perfect walking distance from the beach and all the restaurants in mondello

Personally we usually stay in apartments or houses when we travel, so staying in a BnB with other people in the common spaces took some adjustment but if you’re okay with that it’s the perfect stay in mondello

Our first time in Sicily with my fiancé was like a fairytale, and the amazing experience started with Mongibello and the staff to be precise. Before we even took our flight Giulio contacted us about our check-in and our arrival. He arranged a driver for us Fabio, who is a super cool guy, helped with our luggage and it was cheaper than a taxi. When we arrived Rosario showed our room, but before that he sat down with us and we talked about what to do in Mondello! He gave us restaurant recommendations, a little where to go and what to do. That happened every morning! The next day he gave us a quick rundown about Palermo too. We basically didn't have to plan anything as he always helped to arrange our day. That is the best way to avoid tourist traps and to soak in the local culture truly. Both Giulio and Rosario are amazing! They are really taking care of the place, getting fresh pastries and bread for breakfast every morning! We didn't try but we saw that Rosario also makes mean omelettes so give it a go! The rooms are nice and new, with your own balcony to chill and on the roof you can see the sunrise over the sandy beach of Mondello. It is a spectacular experience mostly because we didn't feel like we were in a sterile hotel environment but felt like joining a local family for a few days. They are making sure you are safe, you have their contacts in case you have any issues, Rosario even had time to play chess with us! (And he beat me badly.) They are promoting nearby family businesses, so you might get a discount here and there. Definitely put some money aside to hire a boat for a half day or full day! Visit the nearby islands, get a snorkeling kit and experience what Mondello can really give!There is not much to add, Mondello is beautiful and Mongibello is a nice place, but Giulio and Rosario will go miles length to make it a special experience! Highly recommend to go give them a visit you will not be disappointed!

The Location from the B&B was amazing. 20 min drive from the airport, bus station right around the corner, 20-30min drive to the historic center and a beautiful beach also right around the corner. We didnt really prepare ourselves before the trip but with Guilios and Rosarios help we had a great trip with sightseeing but also relaxing days :). They helped us whenever we needed information, a taxi, sunscreen, towels or the best spots in mondello and historic center. They were prepared for everything!!We could ask them any time and they gave us such a welcoming feeling. Thank you so much for this great experience and all the help we got☺️
