Absolutely immaculate, attention to detail is exceptional, incredible grounds with a jaw dropping shaped swimming pool. Breakfast amazing. The staff / owners, could not be more hospitable. You could not get a better location across the road from a beautiful sandy beach. If we return this will be our destination of choice.

There is nothing we disliked, however to offer constructive critique, the cost is comparable to a high end Hotel, so with that in mind the room lacked a wardrobe, just a hanging rail, the shared balcony is a little hit and miss who you share with (we are non smokers). The air-conditioning was a little noisy and didn’t seem that effective, maybe operator error. No daytime service around the magnificent pool, drinks snacks etc.

Breakfast had fresh products, very good. The hosts were really nice and helpful, especially the day when it was flooded in front of the villa, they helped us get out with their car (thank you so much). They also recommended a few restaurants nearby which were really good. Room rate is a little bit high, but the service is high quality, the rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, very clean. Our family felt like home here. Our son really liked the garden and the little turtles and mushrooms decorations there. The weather wasn't great the days we were there, but we were still able to enjoy the swimming pool and the beautiful beach with our family. We will definitely come back again and pick a better season. :) Our stay was perfect. I would recommend for families to come during high peak season to enjoy the beach.

The property was absolutely beautiful. It was modern, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was delicious every morning (they even had oatmilk substitute!). The pool was always a calm place to read or nap. The villa was so close to the private beach/delicious restaurants. Villa Masetta will go out of their way to recommend and reserve restaurants in the area which were the best meals we have ever had. The family who owns Villa Masetta are so wonderful and sweet.

We recently arrived home from a 2 week stay in Sicily, ending with 6 nights at Villa Masetta. The Villa is absolutely beautiful and the owners were exceptional; they couldn't do enough for us. Breakfasts were lovely, the property is immaculate, the pool even prettier than pictured, and the location was perfect-across the street from the beach and close to many wonderful restaurants. They welcomed us like family to their "home" and made a wonderful trip even better than we could have hoped. Can't recommend it enough - you won't be disappointed.

Villa Masetta is a small and fantastically well maintained family run hotel. The pool and quiet well manicured grounds are a lovely and tranquil haven right on the bustling and busy Mondello seafront. The staff are incredibly helpful, happy to make restaurant reservations, arrange travel, and patiently offer advice and guidance. The pool is squeaky clean, and the rooms are well appointed, if a little compact.

Honestly everything! Firstly the staff, Giulia, Claudia, their mum and Greta were all incredible. They went over an above for us and spent time getting to know my husband and I. I’ve never been treated so well in a hotel before! They gave us great recommendations for eating and even helped us sign up spontaneously for the half marathon that started out the front of the hotel. Secondly the accommodation, the rooms were beautiful, the detail in the bathroom products was spot on, the breakfast hall was welcoming and we loved eating outside on the warmer mornings Thirdly, the location, Villa Masetta was located bang on where you want to be in Mondello. Right on the beach, very short walk to restaurants and a great ice cream shop next door. We felt safe and enjoyed every moment with Villa Masetta. We hope to come back one day! Thank you for making our stay so special xx

After our arrival it made an even more impression on us than in the offer. Beautiful views, the proximity of the sea with crystal clear water and a wonderful swimming pool in the garden made the stay from morning to evening pure relaxation. Plus, fantastic owners, a lovely family, who were helpful and friendly at every turn. I can wholeheartedly recommend Villa Masetta as a fantastic place to spend your vacation in peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle. If there is such a possibility, we will definitely want to return with the family next year. best regards;-))

The location, the grounds, the staff and most of all the breakfast was amazing! This is definitely the best place I have ever stayed. We knew it looked good from when we booked but we were blown away with how this place is run! The staff are SO helpful and friendly, they are all happy to help. I was also very impressed with the cleaners and how well they operate. We'd go to breakfast and come back to an immaculately clean room with refreshed towels like it we were stepping in again for the first time. The private beach is a huge bonus and this too is ran so well. It is right outside the villa, less than 30 second walk and the sun loungers are high quality and comfortable. The breakfast selection was absolutely amazing, we would be full until dinner! And the girls working in the kitchen area were very good at their job and helpful. The rooms were amazing, beds comfortable and shower really nice. The pool was so nice too. I cannot fault this place and I hope to come back next year! Thank you Villa Masetta ❤️

Owners and staff were excellent. As there are only 6 rooms, often the pool area is very quiet and can provide the feeling of a private villa. Clearly many small aspects, which when combined make a large difference, have been thought through and perfected over time, such as the music by the pool, volume increasing as the day goes on, to Giulia and Claudia always being available to help, but never being overbearing.

Best property we have ever stayed at, so any improvements are very very minor - maybe some more shampoo and shower gel etc.

Our hosts and their daughters are the most friendly and welcoming family you can imagine. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The place is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The private beach beautiful swimming pool in combination with only a 30 min electric scooter ride to Palermo we thought was the ultimate combination to both relax and enjoy the beautiful culture that Sicily Palermo has to offer. We plan to come back with our extended family this Spring. Highly recommend!
