The facility is quite nice. Some reviewers mentioned that rooms are outdated or in need of remodeling... we did not notice as we were there on our last night of our honeymoon and upgraded to a slightly larger room with balcony and view. The staff was impeccably professional and between the few of them spoke a number of different languages. We did not eat at the restaurant, though it looked nice and has an ocean view. Overall the facility looked nice.

The bartender at the bar in the rear of the hotel is abrasive and needs training on how to make some of the most basic and popular drinks. Actually, from the way he speaks to customers and mixes drinks it looks more like he just doesn't care. Pity, it was the only negative of our stay. We would definitely stay there again and just skip that bar if he is there Suggestion: Better lighting in the hallways would give this nice hotel a much more elegant look

Rooms were spacious. Pools were clean. Close to beach but not too close so as to hear noise from the beach. Breakfast was good.

Beds were not comfortable at all. Three members of our family were nearly electrocuted from faulty outlets on three separate occasions in different rooms of the hotel. The hotel would not permit its guests to enjoy a bottle of wine purchased outside of the hotel on the terrace.

+Beautiful sea view from the balcony  +Clean room and everyday cleaning service +Tasty breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, vegetables, pastry, yoghurt, cereal, fruits freshly squeezed orange juice, strong coffee etc.) +Good air-conditioning system +Sunbeds and wooden ladder leading to the sea. The water there is actually clearer than at the Mondello beach, where in places it smells fishy. +Supermarket is within a 10min. walking distance.

-Frequent fluctuations in the shower water temperature. The water is either too chilly or too hot. -A bit loud (music, people chatting) during 19-22 if the room balcony faces the restaurant area. 

This is a lovely hotel, showing signs of age but still exuding plenty of charm. The range of facilities, including the pool, room balconies, diving platform into the Mediterranean, convenient parking, and exceptionally helpful staff, were greatly appreciated. The hotel is superbly located, just a short walk into town, where we enjoyed the lively restaurants and atmosphere. Notably, the sea around the hotel was refreshingly free of the sewage odour that was prevalent in the beaches nearby Mondello, just a four-minute walk away. While the property would certainly benefit from investment to restore it to its former glory, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future.

When there is a refurbishment of the rooms, it would be good to change the bed linen : in today's hospitality industry, the use of bedspreads or coverlets, and unwashed blankets in wardrobes, is becoming increasingly outdated. Guests, ourselves included, prefer not to sleep with linen that may have been used by others. Hotels that provide duvets with removable, washable covers, ensuring that guests sleep in freshly laundered bedding without decorative cushions or bed linen used by previous visitors, are setting a higher standard of cleanliness and comfort. The practice of using bedspreads and cushions that have been handled by prior guests is deemed vintage and no longer acceptable. This approach is the way forward in meeting modern guest expectations.

The view from the room was amazing + having a terrace was very nice. It's close to the center of Mondello without the noise or the smell. Easy (and free!) access to the extra swimming pools in the nearby resort was a very pleasant surprise. I also really like the faded 70's/80's glory vibe, but that's a personal preference. There were plenty of shade options around the pool, which was also nice; we were there in August, so you need shade.

All the pools are salty. Very, very salty. More salty than the sea. I understand it's a rule and, therefore, impossible to find a non-salty pool, but it was still hard on the eyes. The breakfast buffet was also a bit of a disappointment. The "normal" coffee was horrible, quite uncharacteristic for Italy. The buffet options were standard but somehow not appetizing. Can't put my finger on it. Good enough to get your day started.

Our room was lovely and we paid additional money for sea view which was well worth it as it was stunning. Location was good and near the restaurants and bars. Good bus service to Palermo and such good value. Breakfast was good enough but not brilliant. Christine who worked in the breakfast area was very nice and could not do enough for you.

The hotel was a little tired and really needs a little upgrade. The swimming pool area was nice and the staff there super friendly. The toilet area around pool was horrible if i am honest. Dark and dingy. The bed was also very hard which caused a few slerpless nights. Mondello area was nice but it had a huge amount of rubbish all over the place and some smelly bins. Shame really as the people are lovely and friendly. Could be down to cuts that streets and beach areas not clean. Parlermo was so interesting so the holiday was lovely and we had a great time.

Great setting on the edge of Mondelo, Sicily near restaurants, walking, and fantastic views across the bay. Ability to jump into and swim in the Mediterranean Sea direct from the property a huge plus for me. Nice breakfast, excellent restaurant with great views. The staff and waitstaff and lifeguards were all kind and helpful. With Palermo nearby, it makes a solid choice for a few days respite.

A bit concrete, blocky look and feel. Could be upgraded inside the rooms, and bathroom. Feels like it could be a higher rated hotel with investment, and care. Need to be careful walking outside the hotel with a lot of cars, narrow streets with no sidewalks, and insufficient garbage collection.

We have been very pleasantly surprised by the hotel , especially by the extremely competent , helpful and friendly staff. You can't beat the location...but we also have to mention the perfect service and the great breakfast.Great starting point for runs ( or hikes) , great to finish them with a dip into the sea directly at the hotel. We will for sure be back.

Only critic point : The gym could use some maintenance ....

Initially, the staff said they weren't able to put our close together so that they were in fact on separate floors. But, with further discussion, we were given rooms next to our kids which made for a better experience. The view is stunning and the salt water pool is a big plus. Great breakfast.

The parking was difficult as there are very limited parking spots but, with some feedback from staff, we were able to adjust and focus on having a good time instead.

The breakfast was wonderful. The staff welcoming and professional. We love the pool and the location.

The shower in our room was not quite finished. The handle was not properly installed so may be the reason for hot and cold water alternating while we showered. The shower is quite small given the size of the bathroom.
