THE BEST HOTEL in my 30+ years of intensive international travel. I seldom write reviews and this hotel deserves much more stars and attention, a superb helpful and passionate team, genuine hospitality, quality, service, food, management from A to Z: even saving me with a hazardous Ligurian driving - not for flat land drivers! We had amazing holiday in all senses, which we extended for a week, and will definitely come back, bring friends, family and events to this hidden in the mountains true pearl. Molto grazie to the entire team, which made us missing your place. We are your guests for a life time! 🙌❤️🇮🇹✨

Difficult driving, GPS is not hanging with 180 degrees turns. I suggest a pick up service and parking service which is also not easy if you are not Italian. Yet, stuff is very helpful and friendly and they helped me numerous times to drive my rented car where I couldn’t handle it. Next time, I will book driving lessons!

The property has an insanely beautiful view! Is super close to the town, literally a 5 minute walk downtown to all of the food shops. It has a lovely pool, a computer to print when necessary, and the staff was decent as well.

The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable. I booked with my father so we had separate beds and the sofa bed felt like sleeping on bars. Extremely uncomfortable and deeply affected my sleep while there.

The hotel is quite nice and in a quiet location with a nice enough indoor pool which we didn't use. The room was OK and the breakfast was good and fresh. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Access to the hotel is difficult. You have to enter via a one way tunnel system which gives a green light for 2 minutes 3 times per hour. It was very difficult to find by car and by foot it is up a long steep and narrow path. Quite a climb back up from the town. It was the most expensive place we stayed on our holiday out of 10 places and charged 10 euros/night for parking which was an unpleasant surprise.

Everything. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. I have stayed here last year too and this time I had even a bigger terrace with loungers. Fantastic! The breakfast was included and it was absolutely delicious.

During the breakfast there are no special “milk” options or yougurt. I am lactose intolerant and I had to go and buy them at the local supermarket. There are plenty of food you can have if you ditch the dairy though.

Very nice staff! Clean and well kept room. Nice view as the hotel is situated on a small hill. I can recommend this hotel.

As the hotel is above town be ready to do some steep walking. If you come by train it's close but a bit of hassle to walk with suitcases in the steep stairs.

The name of the hotel is tricky, and confused us: Here in the city there is two different, a Hotel Mondial and Hotel Residence. But we found on Booking on name "Hotel Residence Mondial". We would like to book in H. Residence, but finally we got the address of H Mondial. That was a little far on the Hill, but was beautiful. It would be necessary to correct the name of the hotel!!!

Right distance from the lovely village and beach and it is also within walking distance from the station though the stepsnmay be a bit chaallenging depending upon your age

Nothing really

The hotel was an excellent base for exploring the Cinque Terre, just a short walk down steps to the station - or into the centre of Moneglia. We had one of the 'studio' rooms which had a fabulous, private, split level patio with a lovely sea view. Wide choice of things for breakfast, though we weren't staying on a B&B basis, so mostly self catered from our kitchenette.

Coffee provided at breakfast was a bit disappointing.

What is there NOT to like? The prime location offers so much nature, beautiful and breathtaking views. The staff made sure they contacted us before our arrival and literally waited for us at the door, great service. Our room was upgraded as we arrived and had the best view to the ocean.

That we couldn't stay longer!

The pool was fun to have for our kids, and the location out of the fray of the Cinque Terre but with a similar vibe was just perfect for us. Staff was also always lovely and super helpful. Beaches nearby were great, especially in the early evening.

It’s a little isolated at the top of the hill where you have to hike to the cute town or beach or train station…but that was also part of the appeal. Really not much to say that we didn’t like
