Superb location on boardwalk in Monterosso. Room had a balcony with chairs facing the sea and boardwalk...spent many wonderful hours there. Make sure you book a sea-view room, as not all rooms have this feature. Only ten rooms in total.

No real complaints.

My wife and I stayed here for the first four days of a 16 day trip to Italy. Do you need four days in Cinque Terre? Probably not, but I am glad that we did stay here for as long as we did. Our room was spacious and comfortable, especially the mini-splits which offered comfortable air conditioning on the hot days. We had a nice balcony which was shaded by trees and allowed us to listen to the sea and watch passers by. Close by was a Focaccia shop and a bodega type store. We were able to get simple supplies from the store (beer, fruit, water, cheese) at minimal cost and we were able to purchase tasty Focaccia from the shop (we specifically recommend the potato and cheese Focaccia). We were also within short walking distance of the train station and the two major beaches and the best restaurant in town, Miky's. Due to our close proximity we were able to make use of the beaches several times over the course of four days and use the train to get to other spots in the Cinque Terre. The entire staff went above and beyond at breakfast, at the street bar, and at the front desk where we were able to have our laundry cleaned on the last day. The laundry was a bit expensive, but was also key as we were on day 10 of 32 on the road (16 of which were in Italy).

I wouldn't change too much about this place as it offered comfort and mostly quiet in a very tourist packed town. The only two things I can think of is that we were so close to a church that it felt like we were inside it for one of the services and the trees in front of the balcony. Although the trees offered some nice shade it also prevented us from being able to sit and gaze at the sea.

The hotel location is right across the street from the beach. There is a parking lot directly across, but the view is still good. Breakfast was above average. Staff was accommodating. We asked to have some laundry done and it was very reasonable. The room was a bit small, but not uncomfortable. There was a minor problem with the shower head not staying in place in our room that needed to be fixed. Hotel is close to the train station for getting to the other towns in Cinque Terra.

There was a minor problem with the shower head. It was a busy time in Cinque Terra and we did get a bit of street noise. But it was not a major issue. Our balcony was on the street with a nice view.

Excellent greetings and the staff each and everyone of them couldn't do enough for you from checking in, explaining how everything works, guided tour round whole villa, to local recommendations just warm, friendly and super attentive service day and night. The Seaview room was beautiful super comfy bed, good mini bar in room good selection at breakie loved it I only checked in with intention of one night and within 20mins of being in my room I booked a extra night lovely place right next to station and short walk to old town just great.

Good location, breathtaking view from the rooftop terrace, easy to find, nice stuff, close to beach, close to train station, close to old part of Monterosso (this booking located in new part of Monterosso, but everything super close - ferry, train, restaurants, beach, old city). Room was nice.

The only bad thing was that the A/C was not working properly, It was very important before I choose the booking, because as it was in august, and the weather was hot, so it was important to have A/C, it was, but not working properly, and the room was too hot.

Location and it was very convenient to have a lift. We enjoyed the balcony

The bathroom was incredibly tight with only about 1 foot ( 12 inches/30 cm) between the toilet and the vanity basin which made it very awkward and a bit dangerous trying to squeeze through such a narrow space. The shower was also very tight. Breakfast a little average- if you didn’t get there early a lot of the food was gone and never replenished for later coming guests ( you just missed out).

The staff were lovely ! They upgraded our room to the sea view which was appreciated and not expected (for free) The room was comfortable and good size and had a balcony which was lovely hearing the ocean and watching the ocean during our stay Breakfast was really good and the ladies were lovely serving it , and made beautiful barista coffee. Good location

The staff were great. The location was excellent and after looking at the other villages we felt we had the best spot in Cinque Terre and more specifically Monterosa.

Breakfast could have been better. It was probably more the communication. We didn’t realise when the eggs had ran out we could ask for more or that you could have juice because it wasn’t put out. The staff were lovely but we just couldn’t work it out.

We loved breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the sea. It was great to go up there late afternoon as well to enjoy a drink in the sun. We had the place top ourselves! We loved our wrap around balcony for evening drinks with views to the sea but also watching the world go by on the street below. The location of the hotel is excellent - not too far at all from the train station but leaving the crowds behind. The old town is an evening stroll away for restaurants there but there are many restaurants along the water front within a few minutes walk. We sat and ate on the balcony a couple of nights with fresh produce from the little supermarket next door to the hotel with beers from the minibar and an excellent bottle of local house wine from the bar downstairs. Would definitely book again if we visit the Cinque Terre again.

We enjoy walking and as the weather was hot in June we would have liked breakfast a little earlier than 8.30 to make an earlier start on the trails - but that’s just a suggestion. Otherwise we loved the hotel.

The location was fantastic - very easy ,quick walk from the station and directly across from the beach and a playground as well as sports area. The sounds of kids playing soccer etc were delightful and not intrusive . We were in a sea view room and loved sitting on our balcony taking in the view and atmosphere of the town. Staff were EXCEPTIONAL - kind, attentive and wanting only to ensure our comfort and happiness. Had a great meal there as well - great value for money and very tasty pizzas. Coffee was so, so good.

Breakfast was a little 'different' as it was set up as a buffet but one couldn't help oneself. It may well be a hangover from Covid, but it did make it awkward for guests who naturally went to choose from the buffet but were then told staff had to serve it. Difficult to genuinely get exactly what you want in those circumstances as , without that being the intention, you felt quite pressured to choose really quickly.
