So clean! I have 2 kids and cannot emphasize cleanliness enough. This place was spotless. Carola the host was also very kind and helpful. She met us at the bottom of the steps, helped us with a bag, and took us up another easier direction. There ended up being a train strike the day we were supposed to leave so we left the evening prior to our planned departure but she was so kind to get to confirm our train tickets for us. Also great location in old town. Once you get to the base of the stairs you are in the middle of everything.

I suppose the steps up to the apartment which makes the flattest town in Cinque Terre suddenly far less flat :D but we ended up enjoying the steps!

This was the highlight of our stays in Italy. Fantastic location and views. We got two rooms, each with its own bathroom so we were very comfortable. The beds were excellent, and Carola, our host was incredible. Through 10 days of travel in Italy, she was the only host we met in person, which always adds up to the experience. She recommended great places to eat and to see to make the best out of short time in Cinque Terre. Would not only recommend, but we would happily go back in a heartbeat.

The views were amazing. The room was very clean, and there’s daily cleaning. It’s located in the historic section of the town with cute shops and restaurants but it’s tough to get to if you drive. I recommend not driving to Monteroso as parking is very tough and Google maps is not very helpful.

The towels while they were changed daily, they always smelled a little moldy. I think it might be because she’s not using bleach and maybe mold has grown into the towels. My partner did not have any problems with the towels. I have a very sensitive nose.

The queen bed with balcony room was nice. The room is tastefully decorated. Shower and bathroom are of good size. The a/c worked well and the property is located off the main strip so it’s very quiet. Host is very responsive, nice, and funny. I would stay here again without question. It’s about a 10-12 minute walk from the train station. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay, look no further and book here.

There is no issue with the property but future guests should be aware that there are around 90-100 steps up to the property. If you need to there are places to rest as you climb the stairs. There is an alternate route to the property that avoids the bulk of the stairs but it is slightly longer thus making the stairs the better option.

Very clean room and facilities were great. Location is perfect in the old part of monterosso with bars and restaurants in walking distance. Carola was very helpful and responsive. Really recommend it.

There is nothing to complain about really apart from the steps to arrive to the property but we knew about them and we did not travel with big luggages.

Lovely modern and comfortable rooms. Carola came to meet us and gave lots of advice. There are a lot of stairs but don’t let it put you off as we didn’t find them that bad! Lots of lovely extra touches like the mosquito repellent etc. would definitely stay again.

The smaller bedroom could have done with a mirror but very minor thing

Owner was fantastic, met us in town to show us the way to the house. Great location in town, steps away from restaurants and shops. House was clean, well kept, and bathrooms were newly renovated. We've already talked about wanting to go back to stay in the same place.

Location was excellent . Carol is very nice person and helpful. She took time to explain what needed and waited for us in the old city to guide us. The rooms were super clean and beds are super comfortable. We slept very well. Free WiFi is working.

The AC was too noisy. There are so many stairs to reach the hotel.

This was a fantastic place to stay in Monterosso. It was close to a number of restaurants but still managed to feel quiet and cozy at night. Carola was easy to communicate with and a fantastic host. The beds are comfortable and the showers were great. Very easy to walk to any of the hiking paths nearby and to/from the train station. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The house is quite easy to reach from the train station. The area is very quiet and the view from the balcony is simply stunning. The room had everything we needed, and it was very clean and tidy, you also get beach towels, which is nice. The host is very attentive and helpful, as is the cleaning lady. Hope to return here some time in the future!
