Our experience was amazing from arrival. Short walk from the train station and Marco who checked us in told us all about the area, weather forecasts and even gave us a map with local recommendations. Room was perfect and up to date. Modern Tv and bathroom. It’s the little things that make the big differences and after a few bookings fell short of the mark, lo Scoglio was perfect for us. Beach towels, coffee machine, ice machine, local advice… other properties could definitely learn from them. We were here celebrating our honeymoon and they even provided a celebratory drink. Would definitely return in the future.

Would 100% recommend this stay! First, Marco, the host, was exceptional. He met us by the property for check in, gave us a map of the towns, explained everything with the most detail. Extremely helpful and friendly. We saw him pass by the following days of our stay and he always made a point to ask how the trip was going, give us recommendations, etc. The location was perfect, close to everything. Room was super spacious, bed comfortable, clean and great bathroom. Loved that they gave us beach towels too. Lastly, the terraza space made our trip so much better. We would sit outside after dinner with a bottle of wine and beautiful view — just the perfect spot to unwind away from the crowds but not in your room.

Amazing-super convenient location in Monterosso, close to the train station and the sea shore, reachable to the old city and its magical places to drink and eat. The property looks new, clean, daily-high maintenance plus in direct connection with the guests. Team,especially Marco, is amazing!!! Always in attitude of solving every issue, giving all possible information and recommendations for best time around, sharing possible ways and places to travel to, in a super welcoming way, always with a smile.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and we had everything we needed. Marco was incredibly attentive upon our arrival, taking the time to explain everything and share great tips for tours and local restaurants. The common areas are charming and cozy, and there’s even a lovely spot with a sea view! The location is fantastic—just a short walk from shops, the train station, and the beach. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing time. Everything needed was there and more! Coffee/tea was freely available in the common area and beach towels were also provided. Great bed and shower. Every morning I took a coffee and had breakfast on the incredible terrace with a unbelievable view. I always had the terrace to myself too. Marco was always there when I needed him and I was even allowed to check in early. He also gave me lots of tips on where to eat/drink. I used this place as a base to visit all the towns and it was perfect. I can definitely recommend staying here!

The wifi was sometimes a bit slow when I used it on two devices at the same time, but it did not bother me.

What a great location! Marco was the most helpful, gracious host!! (Thanks for carrying our bags up the stairs!!) Perfect setup for our two mother/daughter couples. Each couple had their own room but we then could meet on the amazing balcony to plan our day or relax and unwind at the end of the day with some limoncello The view was spectacular. The ice-maker was a welcome delight! Close proximity to the beach clubs, the train station, and many restaurants and bars.

Well located at one end of Monterosso opposite beaches and restaurant. Marco was an excellent host and looked after us well during check in, explaining the locality and the options for discount rail travel and about the various trails and costs. The room, whilst at the rear of the property, was a decent size and was air conditioned. Good bathroom and shower. There was a large and comfortable lounge with kettle and coffee and a roof terrace which was nice when it wasn’t raining! It was a short walk from the station so quite convenient. Would stay again.

This accomodation is even better in person than advertised! The room itself was beautiful, clean and had all the facilities listed on booking.com. It is in a great location right in front of the beach in Monterosso and the shared terrace and living space was very useful. However, above all, the host Marco was amazing! He was so polite from the moment we arrived and gave us so much information on what we could do during our stay. He went above and beyond explaining everything there is to know about Cinque Terre and set us up very nicely. They pay so much attention to the finer details and made our stay in Monterosso a very memorable one. We would definitely stay here in the future!

This property was so much better than we could have imagined. The staff at check-in were very helpful, and the information given prior to arrival ensured it was easy to find the property. The room was lovely - one of those places where you arrive and it is better than expected. It was also kept very clean. The terrace overlooking the water was lovely, providing a great place for a glass of wine or a cuppa whilst watching the world go by. We also loved the added touch of tea and coffee making facilities, and wine glasses and bottle opener. We couldn’t fault this place.
