The Villa had an excellent breakfast, fresh fried or scrambled real eggs, bacon that smelled wonderful as soon as you left your room. Great bread and croissants filled with cream or jelly or Nutella…a coffee machine operated by the hotel offering any kind of coffee you wished. Cookies, cake, pastries, ham, cheese and fresh cut fruit or whole apples, oranges or pears….all served with a smile on fresh table settings. I would recommend the Villa to anyone wanting to visit Cinque Terre. The hotel also had painted tables and tiles throughout with a sea motif…like happy little greeting wherever you looked. It was fun! It was also on the first row of hotels from the ocean and not up piles and piles of steps!! Many hotels and apartments in Cinque Terre are built into the hillsides, Monterosso is mostly flat and easy walking especially for senior visitors. It also has a beach directly in front along with a playground where we heard kids having fun in the sun. Great place to stay.

In Italy a king bed is usually two singles…so there is a seam down the middle.

My wife and I stayed here for the first four days of a 16 day trip to Italy. Do you need four days in Cinque Terre? Probably not, but I am glad that we did stay here for as long as we did. Our room was spacious and comfortable, especially the mini-splits which offered comfortable air conditioning on the hot days. We had a nice balcony which was shaded by trees and allowed us to listen to the sea and watch passers by. Close by was a Focaccia shop and a bodega type store. We were able to get simple supplies from the store (beer, fruit, water, cheese) at minimal cost and we were able to purchase tasty Focaccia from the shop (we specifically recommend the potato and cheese Focaccia). We were also within short walking distance of the train station and the two major beaches and the best restaurant in town, Miky's. Due to our close proximity we were able to make use of the beaches several times over the course of four days and use the train to get to other spots in the Cinque Terre. The entire staff went above and beyond at breakfast, at the street bar, and at the front desk where we were able to have our laundry cleaned on the last day. The laundry was a bit expensive, but was also key as we were on day 10 of 32 on the road (16 of which were in Italy).

I wouldn't change too much about this place as it offered comfort and mostly quiet in a very tourist packed town. The only two things I can think of is that we were so close to a church that it felt like we were inside it for one of the services and the trees in front of the balcony. Although the trees offered some nice shade it also prevented us from being able to sit and gaze at the sea.

Superb location on boardwalk in Monterosso. Room had a balcony with chairs facing the sea and boardwalk...spent many wonderful hours there. Make sure you book a sea-view room, as not all rooms have this feature. Only ten rooms in total.

No real complaints.

The hotel location is right across the street from the beach. There is a parking lot directly across, but the view is still good. Breakfast was above average. Staff was accommodating. We asked to have some laundry done and it was very reasonable. The room was a bit small, but not uncomfortable. There was a minor problem with the shower head not staying in place in our room that needed to be fixed. Hotel is close to the train station for getting to the other towns in Cinque Terra.

There was a minor problem with the shower head. It was a busy time in Cinque Terra and we did get a bit of street noise. But it was not a major issue. Our balcony was on the street with a nice view.

Excellent greetings and the staff each and everyone of them couldn't do enough for you from checking in, explaining how everything works, guided tour round whole villa, to local recommendations just warm, friendly and super attentive service day and night. The Seaview room was beautiful super comfy bed, good mini bar in room good selection at breakie loved it I only checked in with intention of one night and within 20mins of being in my room I booked a extra night lovely place right next to station and short walk to old town just great.

Good location, breathtaking view from the rooftop terrace, easy to find, nice stuff, close to beach, close to train station, close to old part of Monterosso (this booking located in new part of Monterosso, but everything super close - ferry, train, restaurants, beach, old city). Room was nice.

The only bad thing was that the A/C was not working properly, It was very important before I choose the booking, because as it was in august, and the weather was hot, so it was important to have A/C, it was, but not working properly, and the room was too hot.

Location and it was very convenient to have a lift. We enjoyed the balcony

The bathroom was incredibly tight with only about 1 foot ( 12 inches/30 cm) between the toilet and the vanity basin which made it very awkward and a bit dangerous trying to squeeze through such a narrow space. The shower was also very tight. Breakfast a little average- if you didn’t get there early a lot of the food was gone and never replenished for later coming guests ( you just missed out).

The staff were lovely ! They upgraded our room to the sea view which was appreciated and not expected (for free) The room was comfortable and good size and had a balcony which was lovely hearing the ocean and watching the ocean during our stay Breakfast was really good and the ladies were lovely serving it , and made beautiful barista coffee. Good location

Hospitality of the staff was excellent!! From the check-in, through breakfast service until the check out! I felt very welcome 🙂 Location is very convenient too. Close to the train station, grocery store and few restaurants. And just next to the beach. Breakfast had many options to choose from and they can make the eggs the way you like!

Cannot find a single thing.

The staff were great. The location was excellent and after looking at the other villages we felt we had the best spot in Cinque Terre and more specifically Monterosa.

Breakfast could have been better. It was probably more the communication. We didn’t realise when the eggs had ran out we could ask for more or that you could have juice because it wasn’t put out. The staff were lovely but we just couldn’t work it out.
