The location was PERFECT! Out of the way from the hustle and loud bustle. There is a free shuttle to and from the main street to Parco, or you can walk the 10 minutes. If you’re in cinque Terre, you’re going to do a lot of walking. Marta picked us up 2 minutes from the train station. The breakfast was a wonderful surprise as Marta cooks your eggs and pancakes to order if you wish! Great fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, breads, meat, cheese, and sweets. Cappuccino and espresso is made to order, and she has American coffee in maker as well. Fresh juices too! The place was impeccably landscaped and exceptionally clean. I don’t think we could rate this high enough….10 is not enough! The pool and private sitting areas were beautiful with an excellent view of the sea. Marta is a whiz with WhatsApp and responds quickly. A wonderful find!!! Thank you Marta and family.

Marta was a consummate host. Sincerely, she made everything so easy. While the location is not directly in the town, she made sure we knew how to use the shuttle and when our train came in before the shuttle service started, picked us up from the train station herself. The property is lovely, beautiful gardens, beautiful views. Our room was standard sized for Europe (maybe even a little bigger!) and we had a lovely little balcony to sit on and read or have a glass of wine while looking out at the water. We even were provided beach towels to use in town which was so helpful. We would not have loved Cinque Terre as much without this place!

One quick piece to be mindful of: the property does not provide conditioner which is pretty normal in my experience across Europe but something to remember if you like to use conditioner after washing your hair.

Really attentive family run place, they were so friendly and you can tell they really care. Our room, number 4, was AMAZING. The view! The giant window! And a patio with lounge chairs! The shower was good, provided beach towels was kind and the shuttle up and down the hill was great and well functioning. Though easy to walk down in 15 mins or so, we did walk up a couple of times, which is fine really if you are able. The pool, though small, is great, beautiful views, calming and the place has few enough rooms to mean that we got the pool to other selves basically every time, which felt very luxury. The pool area and garden is stunning in it's landscape and attention to detail. It's all feels very quality and currated- even the outdoor shower has warm water! We had breakfast one day and it was a family affair, relaxed and a good selection, with some things cooked to order- like eggs and a good price. Bear in mind there's no bar or anything so you have to bring your own wine etc from the town, which suited us fine as it adds to the peace and quiet but worth considering. I'm so sad to leave, genuinely, you will be hard pushed to want to leave and explore everyday with a base this nice. Grazie!

The photos are accurate and our sea view from inside our room, even while on the bed, as well as from our terrace were absolutely amazing! The breakfast was delicious and served in an area with fantastic sea views! It is located up a steep hill from Monterosso center but is serviced by a quick shuttle van (less then 5 minute drive) which is punctual and functions well. Be sure to pay attention to the drop off and pick up times once an hour and that there is a lunch and dinner break "hour" when there is no service. We also walked both up (steep) and down the quick short cut pointed out to us by staff. The gardens are beautiful with many relaxing sitting areas and views as well as pools with a view. All the staff is wonderful!

Peaceful location, lovely host, wonderful view, nice breakfast and lots of places to sit dotted around the property's pretty grounds. A welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of Monterosso in peak season, but still close enough to walk down into Monterosso within 5 minutes (ask for the shortcut). The walk back is uphill, but only took about 10 minutes and there is a great hourly shuttle if you would prefer not to walk. The beach in Monterosso can be crowded in the height of summer, so the loungers and pool with fantastic view of the sea were a really welcome feature. Wouldn't hesitate to return :-)

The address listed on BOOKING.COM was incorrect. However if you type in “B&B Il Parco” on google maps it IS correct. (We are frustrated with booking.com not the actual property). We ended up trying to walk bc the address on booking.com was a 6 min walk when it was actually a 15 min walk up hill but took us 45 min because the address was wrong. Thankfully the host was so helpful and helped us find it! In retrospect we should have waited for their personal shuttle but didn’t know how it worked. Would recommend booking.com update to the correct address. (Località Mesco, 6, 19016 Monterosso al Mare SP, Italy).

We liked the room, breakfast was delicious & the cute little outdoor pool was great- perfect way to relax with my son after doing some hiking! Many thanks to the staff for assisting us with our luggage after we checked out - they brought it down in the shuttle before our late afternoon train. We were given very clear directions on how to find the B&B and how to access our room before we arrived.

It is quite the hike up to the lodging, but they are very transparent about this up front - there is a shuttle up & down during certain hours of the day. Not easy to get a taxi up to the B & B if you are between shuttles.

What an absolutely fantastic introduction to Cinque Terre- from the moment we arrived, Marta and her staff were so hospitable and immediately made us feel comfortable. Upon introduction to the room, we had an incredible view overlooking the sea with fragrant flower and fruit trees surrounding us. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. While it is located in the hills, the shuttle proved to be totally reliable, both going down into the town and back up, always arriving on time. If we were between times, it was a short walk down via the stairs. At breakfast, we arrived to a fully stocked buffet with options for cappuccinos, eggs, and pancakes. It was so relaxing to be here for the 3 days that we were. The property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. This by far exceeded expectations and we would love to return. Thank you for making our honeymoon as pleasant as it was :)

We had a lovely two-night stay at B&B Il Parco. We had originally planned to stay in the old town of Monteroso, but at the last minute, my mother decided to join our family so we needed more space. Booking.com made it easy to find this wonderful bed-and-breakfast at the last minute, and after over two weeks in Italy, it ended up being my children’s favorite spot. Located on a hill above town, we definitely appreciated the free shuttle. My husband easily walked to and from town, but my mother and four-year-old could not have done it quite so well. The views, however, are astounding. The entire location is peaceful, relaxing and gorgeous. The kids loved the small swimming pool, which overlooks the hills and ocean below. Everyone loved the peaceful gardens and wonderful breakfast. (One of my sons still talks about the made-to-order pancakes.) The rooms were clean and well-appointed, with more outstanding views from the patios and balconies. Our only regret was that we did not have more time to spend here.

Just a word of caution to the very young or older travelers: it’s a bit of a hike to town, so note the exact shuttle times. Marta and her lovely family did offer to pick us up from the train station, and they drove us to town for our train out. Just use the shuttle or taxis if you can’t walk up hills. :)

-Room was small, tight for luggage -Bathroom was fine, but rock sink although looked cool, was not functional. Too small and the faucet extended too long. water was everywhere when in use. Very difficult and awkward to use. -Need another towel rack -Location is high up steep hill, shuttle running every hour, unless people load required more trips. - Not very convenient
