Great host. Antonio took the time to give us lots of tips (they were all good) when we arrived. Location in the centre is lively and a short walk to everything. Great place as a base to visit Cinque Terre (which are lovely but very crowded). On Antonio’s advice we had a relaxing last day in beautiful Porto Venere (30 minutes by bus), where the swimming was great. The room was comfortable as a base. Simple but great value for money.

The aircon was noisy so we only used it too cool thé room down at night, then opened the windows.

The room was just the right size, there is a table, chairs and cupboard for your things and a little table where to keep your luggage off the ground. Also a sink in the bedroom, which is great for brushing teeth etc because of the shared bathroom/toilet. The shared bathroom/toilet was very clean! Everytime I used it, it looked like it had been just cleaned and sparkled. Also i forgot some of my personal toiletteries in there and they were put to side nicely, thank you! The host (want to say Antonio, my memory is not good for names) was very kind and gracious, accommodated self check in for late arrival and gave good tips and recommendations on visiting the area! Location is not too bad, walking distance to the center & train station and close to the harbour. There is a very nice italian place just across the main street to the other side (pinseria bella napoli), pizza & deserts were amazing!

Can't really think of anything, maybe depends if you're looking for catering, there is tea/hot drink station & a microwave but not much more, but its a hotel and many options nearby for food.

Fantastic location! The staff were AMAZING and super accommodating - they let us check in early which was lovely. We were given some fantastic recommendations for different day trips from La Spezia, including Lerici and Port Venere which we absolutely loved! The room was large, bed was comfortable and having our own sink in our room was very handy. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

The pillows were a bit thin and could be replaced, but we didn't mind too much.

The location is excellent, in the lower part of La Spezia closer to the waterfront. One block from the street with bus lines leading to the the train station and beaches outside town. Three blocks from the waterfront. Lots of restaurants, cafes and other amenities nearby. The hotel is managed by a couple who were very nice and provided helpful recommendations on local eateries and beaches.

Our rooms had portable air conditioners, which were a bit noisy. It was hot the week we were there so had to run them at night. Shower stall was narrow by North American standards, but that was the case in most European hotels we stayed in.

1. Good location. It is really convenient and to go from station to hotel. 2. Very nice administer. Antonio has been so cute. He explained everything to us and gave useful information about interesting places. 3. There are clean and comfortable rooms. 4. Unfortunately, there was not any teapots and we couldn’t make a cup of tea.

Overall, Alberto Teatro was a nice accommodation, especially for the affordable price. We had 1 room with a shared bathroom and the facilities were all very clean. Staff was accommodating with check in and check out times. The hotel was in a great location in La Spezia, walkable to the train station. Good value for money.

Location very central. Easy walk from all public transport. Surrounded by shops, cafes, bars, restaurants I arrived early and was able to leave my luggage while I explored. I only had 1 day in La Spezia and Antonio gave me some great and very clear advice on how to visit Porte Venere, and what was on locally. Thank you

The property was amazing, very comfy bed, nice to have AC, good shower pressure. Hosts were so lovely and helpful, gave us lots of information about the region and trains and let us store our bags after check out. Would love to return if in the region again!

I got fantastic recommendations from the owner regarding restaurants, food, day trips etc Location is incredible Minutes to bus , to supermat and the pedastrian main roads
