The location was perfect, right in the center with walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafes, children park and not too far from the station. The breakfast was a good portion and with good variety. Coffee was not expresso and we had to get it out.

Breakfast had outdoors & indoors. . Outdoors were not usable due to smokers and indoors at times also got smoke in making it uncomfortable to have breakfast.

Location near the ferry boats to Cinque Terre, in the central historic district. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly reception by the host. 15 Euro taxi ride to hotel from train station. Easy walk to and from train station through historic town center.

While it is rated as a 3 star hotel, there is no reception on the ground floor as one might expect. You will have to buzz them and go to the 1st floor, where you will check in. Breakfast is served by trays instead of buffet style. While the items on the trays are quite plentiful, It would be better if they laid out the food on a counter and allowed guests to choose what they would like to eat. If one orders an Americano, one gets an instant coffee. A Cappuccino is served with cold milk. The owner/manager should invest in a decent coffee maker to be able to serve a decent espresso, cappuccino, latte, or americano for breakfast. They will make you a ham and cheese sandwich at breakfast if requested, which was a plus.

Great stay in the center of La Spezia. Close to the harbour. We used a double room for the family (communicating rooms) in Albergo delle Spezie. Reception was great, with lot of instructions before arrival (parking, ...). Breakfast was great, on the sunny terras at the back of the hotel. The hotel has a nice atmosphere: a lot of original (recycled) elements in the building of the furniture.

It was in a location that suited us. Not in the middle of central part of the city, but the area offered much more. Close to Marina, naval museum, and boat tours. Plus the restaurants and shops, in my view exceed those in the centrum. Really like the proprietor and his staff they were always friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed breakfast, very traditional. Highly recommend.

The lady was absolutely lovely and worked really hard to please her customers and did a fantastic job at cooking and cleaning. The place was nice and modern.

The noise from the nightclub both nights was terrible and I could only get to sleep at 3am when the music stayed. The really need to invest in double glazing. The breakfast was very good and generous but only if you eat it there. The man needs to help his wife more serving customers and cooking and cleaning and be more flexible with customers and have more understanding with breakfast.

The location was excellent, in the heart of the historic part of La Spezia near the port, a short walk to the station and surrounded by excellent restaurants. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and the included breakfasts were superb (and much more than we could eat) and taken on the lovely terrace.

Our room was on the small side.

The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was vert nice and abundant. Location was great, with restaurants and shops at your doorstep. The train station was an easy walk of 15 minutes.

Nothing I can think of. If anything, I wish the hotel had a washing machine, but there was a laundry place nearby, so no big deal.

The AC's being behind a paywal, I really don't like that. You can be all the eco-friendly that you want, but I don't agree with that decision. Furthermore, because the reception is open only 'till 20hs, so you cannot even ask for it on after that.

The hotel had a very friendly atmosphere, staff very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots to choice. The location was excellent, with loads of restaurants and shops nearby and it was a short walk to the harbour. It was about 15 minutes walk to the railway station. We enjoyed a swim at a nice quiet beach at San Terenzo that we got to by bus from the harbour.

Location was great. Close to Porto Mirabella It was clean and provided everything we needed for a short stay. Breakfast was delicious

Parking is a problem in the whole area. So not specific to this stay. Have to take your time to figure that all out.
