We stayed at this wonderful hotel in April 2025 as a group of four families with children, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged. Our family rooms were spacious, bright, and exceptionally clean. The kitchens were fully equipped with everything we needed, making it easy and enjoyable to prepare simple meals when we wanted to stay in. One of the highlights was the beautiful outdoor area—lush green lawns, comfortable seating, and large tables where we could share lunch or dinner outside, soaking in the fresh air and the stunning views of vineyards and forests. The kids had plenty of space to run around and play freely on the grass, while we could sit back and relax nearby. The service was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always attentive. Every request was handled quickly and with a smile. Breakfast each morning was a delight: varied, fresh, and generous, with plenty of options for both adults and children. The pools were another highlight—crystal clear, well maintained, and best of all, each group of rooms had its own private pool and children's pool, which gave us a wonderful sense of calm and privacy throughout the stay. This was more than just a vacation—it was a dream getaway for both parents and kids alike. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would return in a heartbeat!

The garden area was lovely, with chairs, sun loungers, and tables that allowed us to enjoy lunch or dinner outdoors, in the fresh air and with stunning views of vineyards and forests. The kids played freely and safely on the grass while we relaxed nearby. Reception service was excellent—every request was answered quickly and with genuine care. Breakfast was rich, varied, and delicious. The pool area was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Each group of rooms had its own pool and kids' pool, giving us full privacy throughout our stay. It was a perfect vacation, and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to families and anyone looking for peace, comfort, and beautiful surroundings. ---

We had the most wonderful stay at Castellare di Tonda and cannot thank the entire team enough. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home—from their warmth and professionalism to the way they kindly accommodated our last-minute changes with such grace. The property is absolutely stunning, the food was exceptional, and every detail of the experience was filled with care and heart. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat, and the hospitality we received made it even more special. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of our next visit. We had a wonderful stay at Castellare de Tonda! The staff were amazing – always helpful and full of great recommendations for places to visit, which made our trip even more special. The place really gives you the authentic feeling of agriturismo, and we had everything we needed during our stay. The pool area is lovely with an incredible view, and we especially appreciated staying in the area with more families – it was perfect for us and our kids. Highly recommended!. Good location, very nice scenery. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Small repairs like TV antenna and stalled chanalization in the shower are fixed quickly. The receptionists are friendly. There is enough space to park the car. The pool is nice and clean, well equipped with sunbeds.

The WiFi is weak, practically not available in the rooms only in the kitchen and outside, in front of the appartment. For those who like to stay connected to the Internet it is definetly not convenient. We also would have appreciated to have at least the bathroom cleaned at least once over our seven days stay.

Great views from the location that we were allocated. ( We were upgraded from a one bedroom apt to a three bedroom house). Staff are super. Food was good, both the included breakfasts the extra cost dinners. Great bar facilities as well.

VERY POOR Wifi in the residences...very low speed and only worked outside and then just barely. Hard to plan and research trips around the region as a result. Cell phone coverage is also mediocre in the area. Wifi at the main buildings was bearable. Also lacking laundry facilities..either washing or ironing.

Nice area in the Tuscan countryside, with some nice activities to do, especially the horseback riding! We spent a lot of our time at the stables and staff there was so nice especially Elsa 😄! Breakfast okay with a good selection of various things. Took a hike around the area and used the spa as well which was quite relaxing.

We would have liked a little bit better cleaning of the rooms. We had a lot of spiderwebs in the ceilings of our room also someone had forgotten to remove the soap in the shower of whoever previously lived in the room. Likewise for the pool area, almost all of the chairs around the pool were covered in bird poop unfortunately. Wi-Fi is not the most stable.

The location is magnificent, the views,the wellness path is amazing,especially the jacuzzi,the breakfast very good.

The restaurant was closed between 2 and 6 pm,no other restaurant near by,the menu is very thin but you can find something to eat,the service very slow.The rooms are nice but need a little bit of refurbishment, the cleaning was not done for the 3 nights we stayed.

The apartment was simple but functional. We wish the living space was bit more comfortable to enjoy with the family as in having a sitting area instead of one pullout couch and dining table.

Bugs were present in the room periodically throughout the stay. All services were charged including a misunderstanding of the staff double charging for one breakfast during the stay, this was rectified when it was pointed out.
