The property is absolutely fabulous, with an optimal location for exploring Tuscany, glorious views and a very good restaurant. We particularly appreciated the attention to coeliac friendly options and the warmth and kindness of the catering staff. The food was varied and of a high standard,though some may find the portions a little small. The infinity pool and surroundings were perfect and it was a relaxing and special place to spend 5 nights. I would highly recommend Poderi ARCANGELO.

The bedroom was a little cramped for 4 and we felt the absence of a fridge and drinking glasses. However the exterior did make up for that, including a lovely outdoor area to lounge after dinner.

The property is gorgeous! Awesome views on the Tuscan hills (between Certaldo and San Gimignano) and lovely landscape all over the property. The staff helps you feel at home and makes sure their guests are happy. A huge thanks to Chiara who helped us plan every moment of our stay perfectly. We recommend to eat on the property: squisite food every day with a menu that changes daily. Five of us did a winetasting with Alberto which we recommend. The property makes delicious and high ranking wine and Alberto is very skillful, knowledgeable and the perfect host. It was the perfect location for our family get together and we were all able to relax and take it easy, from the adults to the teenagers! It will definitely become a place to come back to. Very highly recommended!!

The location is absolutely stunning—nestled among rolling Tuscan hills with breathtaking views of vineyards and olive groves. The property feels authentic and full of charm, with beautifully maintained grounds and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and rustic yet elegant, giving a real sense of Tuscan tradition. I especially loved the infinity pool overlooking the countryside—it was the perfect spot to relax with a glass of local wine. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready with a smile and helpful recommendations. The food was also a highlight: fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious, making every meal feel like a special occasion.

The only small inconvenience was the lack of power plugs in the upstairs bedroom, which made charging devices a bit tricky.

We had a wonderful stay at the property! It was definitely a lifetime experience with the amazing view at the property! Loved the home cooked meals at the restaurant with the breathtaking Tuscan sunset, lovely organic wine and warm and welcoming staff! Would definitely recommend this place 💓

The room we stayed in the air condition wasn’t working that well and it was extremely hot the days we were in, however the staff did their best in helping us to fix it! I would recommend guest to stay at the main house it is definitely a lot more convenient! Lastly be prepared for the drive up to the property it is quite an adventure 😅

Poderi Arcangelo was an excellent hotel in rustic Tuscany. It exceeded our expectations and was a hidden gem in the region. The main building is beautiful and relaxing as was the infinity pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the maxi wine tour was great fun. The views from the breakfast were excellent and a highlight of our stay. Finally, the hotel is very close to many traditional Tuscan towns (with a car) and was a great base for our trip.

The breakfast was slightly basic and could use more variety with a cooked element to it. The shower was slightly small and kept overfilling with water. Minor points for our overall stay.

My stay in San Gimignano was nothing short of spectacular. The property was set against the picturesque Tuscan landscape, offering breathtaking views of the rolling hills and vineyards. The pool was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring the historic town. The service was impeccable. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. As for the food, it was an absolute highlight. Dinner was traditional tuscan dishes and their wine was equally impressive, all made on the property. Overall, Poderi Arcangelo in San Gimignano was the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and authentic Italian charm. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with top-notch service and food!

The view of the Tuscan hills was amazing, the property was gorgeous. I have dietary restrictions (GF. vegetarian) the owner was accommodating when we booked dinner and breakfast the food was amazing. I had a few questions about the apartment during our stay we used the e-mail booking system and the staff responded withing in minutes.

this is more an FYI nothing about the property, we stayed in an apartment so that we could cook a couple meals on our own during our holiday stay in Italy, there are no grocery stores nearby, so I would recommend on your first day make a list of everything you need and plan one trip to the local market to save time and stress.

Wonderful location, the owners are really friendly, respectful, lovely people with a great history and business. We did the wine tasting which was fabulous, delicious products and we loved all the informations that were given. We had a wonderful apartment and even had the chance to do a fire in the fireplace. The location is amazing to visit nearby villages. We had an amazing stay and will definitely go back during summer or fall!

The view-OH MY! It’s exactly as one would imagine Tuscany to look like. The pool was fantastic and the dinner was my favorite of our whole trip to Italy. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. We spent a day in the nearby village of San Gimignano (totally recommend!) and went horseback riding back riding at a nearby facility. Lots of excursions are possible. Oh… and the wine! You must try their wine- it’s lovely!

Only that the AC was not working that great but I’m sure it was fixed.

What an amazing property! The staff were always so helpful and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Dinner was our favorite as they cooked you the most amazing pre set menu and made you feel like family. Our bedroom had views Tuscany like you’d dream of and even saw Certaldo from our bathroom window.

No complaints. Can’t wait to come back.
