A beautiful romantic traditional villa with happy and very helpful staff. Bedroom had the most magnificent view of San Gimigano, rolling Tuscan hills and vineyards. Beds nice and comfy and shower great. A lovely swimming pool set in a very quiet and pretty garden. We ate our delicious breakfasts and dinners outside on the dining room patio looking out towards San Gimigano. Villa Ducci is situated on the pilgrimage road of Via Francigena which is possible to walk along ( carefully, as it is a B-Road with cars) to San Gimigano.It takes about 20 minutes to walk. Villa is much prettier than the photos show and we will be returning next year. A great place to base a Tuscany holiday. We visited Siena, Florence, Volterra and even drove to the west coast beaches near Cecina, I would highly recommend Vada White beach, who knew Tuscany had one of the best beaches I’ve ever seen?

If you want a holiday that is lively and with entertainment in the evening then this is not what Villa Ducci is about. It is a haven of peace and tranquility, which is what we were looking for.

Villa Ducci was an amazing place to stay! Overall the rooms and the site are much nicer in real life than on the picture. We had a clean, comfortable and spacious room with a gorgeous view on the country side. The view and the pool were also stunning. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and the location was amazing as a base to go visit multiple surrounding villages.

The breakfast was definitely not what it should be, limited choices and pretty much ran out an hour before closing.

The location was stunning and I loved the rustic charm. The pool was gorgeous and the breakfast and restaurant was lovely, the food really tasty. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

It would have been nice to have some bottles of water in the room and tea/coffee making facilities. I understand that the property was previously a farm house but there is no reasonable adjustments for people with disabilities. The stairs down to the pool were treacherous.

The number 1 reason to book this hotel is the view on San Gimignano. It seriously is one of the most beautiful views of Italy from both the terras where you can have breakfast and dinner, and from the swimming pool. Swimming pool was also very nice. What I found interesting was that a lot of the guests also had dinner in the hotel.

The hotel looks a little outdated/oldfashioned. They tried to improve on that with nice photography of a talented local photographer. Rooms like the bathroom etc also felt a bit old. Also the food tasted average, we decided the second night to look for something of the quality we were more used to in Italy.

The location of the hotel is magical. The view to the tuscany panorama from the restaurant/terras/breakfast is amazing. The staff was very nice. The room was spotless clean. The breakfast was delicious. We already want to go back.

Check-out was a little too early (10:00). But to be honest it pushed us to continue our travel journey and thanks to that we manages to visit Pisa and Cinqueterre…so all good.

Lovely small hotel. Nice pool plenty of sunbeds umbrellas etc. Steps a bit steep for anyone with mobility issues. Staff are super friendly. Only about 7 minutes drive to the car parks of San Gimingnano. Food at the restaurant absolutely beautiful. Really recommend this place.

Absolutely lovely place with outstanding service. Beautiful views and convenient location just outside of the town. The view from our window was like a postcard! Helpful staff made a dinner reservation for us the first night. We ate at the hotel the second night and it was outstanding! Truly a memorable experience. Denis was totally charming and well informed on local wines.

The location was ideal, the view of San Gimignano was spectacular. The staff was really friendly and they made us feel very welcome. Room although a bit smaller was comfortable with a good AC to keep us and our little dog cool.

The breakfast selection was very good, although the selection of cheesed and cold cuts, could be improved. I am certain that they could offer more than 2 types of cold cuts and 1 type of store-bought cheese. The bathroom could use some updates.

Just a stones throw from San Gimi it is perfectly situated with magnificent views of the Tuscan Hills around it. There is a lovely terrace and pool. Staff were excellent.

Bedroom is a bit tired and dated. We had a disappointing view of the car park. Ask for a valley view. Pay for it if you can. Food was average. The wine was lovely and very well priced,

Breakfast is at par of what you get in Italy, great selection of hams good fruits and also sweets. Coffe is Great and their dinners ale super tastefull. ALso you can buy wine that is served in dinner. From terase is awesome view on San Gimignano that is 2km away!

Arrival can be bit confusing. Sign is for parking lot but not near reception, you can drive 200m and there is second gate and you are at reception. (we confused sign next to the side entrance and were bit lost) and than you park car at parking but its just to be clear
