the surroundings are beautiful - typical tuscan good breakfast - especially the fruits and deserts area

At the accommodation, we were not informed about breakfast - time interval, location, how to get there. No directions to the restaurant. In the morning we had to cross the courtyard in the rain (together with another group of tourists - also uninformed) to find the restaurant, although from the building where we were staying there is a hallway and an elevator through which you could access the dining room. I discovered them when leaving from breakfast. Our room, without any view, faced somewhere behind the courtyard between some walls. Outdated room - needs renovation/upgrading for 4* Too expensive and pretentious for the services offered

Superb location! I would come back to this resort if I ever visit Tuscany again, just for the location. The hotel is nice, the surroundings are amazing and San Gimignano is just a few km away. Other places were also super easy to reach. Nice breakfast :)

The restaurant is outdated and didn’t somehow belong to the rest of the hotel interior. Also the scent in the room was too strong and we couldn’t stand it. The staff could be more kind and attentive but I feel like this is lately missing in all of Italy. Seems like everyone working in customer service is fed up of tourists.

The room was magnificent. It was more an apartment than a hotel room. Considering we traveled with two kids, they really enjoyed the space they had available to play while we were getting ready. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Even the sofa bed was nice. The breakfast was tasty and rich enough

Not much really. The only thing i noticed that was a bit out of tune is that the way from the main hall to the restaurant is pretty long and shabby. Considering the rest of the context that could be improved

It was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly, the views of the hotel were incredible and I felt very safe.

It felt quite unfinished, the walls needed a good paint, some of the areas were quite messy with umbrellas just lying on the floor. The bathrooms were old fashioned and had shower curtains that didn’t hold the water in.

Location, surrounding nature and the service. Welcoming was quite warm and kind. The room is clean and large. The bed sheets are quality (cotton with satin). The pillows are quite comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. It would be the only place that we eat croissants with pistachio, very delicious like baklava.

Relatively old interior design.

The location was stunning, just few minutes to San Gimignano and 30 minutes to Volterra. The hotel has just been renovated in some areas, rooms are nice and spacious. Breakfast near the pool was delicious and the restaurant was very good as well. A plus is the pool, with a direct view of San Gimignano’s towers.

They do not have Spotify premium in the pool, so every 30 minutes ads pop in ;)

The location was perfect to visit San Gimignano and surroundings on a motorbike (we had our own). The pool area and the whole hotel was beautiful. The room and bathroom was nice, even though a little bit old. But we had a great deal so the price/ quality was great. The breakfast was very good, large selection of local food. I would appreciate a better coffee (when in Italy ;)) But it was possible to buy a great coffee at the bar after breakfast.

We had a very relaxing stay. We arrived early & our room wasn't quite ready. The very helpful man at reception checked us in to another (better) room which we were very happy about. We had 1 very nice relaxing day lying by the lovely pool. The restaurant wasn't open for lunches (possibly too early in season). We were accommodated though & were given 4 options to chose from. A very large & delicious salad was served to us. Great breakfast selection also. Beautiful scenery & good view of San Gimignano.

Walking to San Gimignano wasn't possible as part of the road didn't have footpath. The distance mentioned wasn't entirely accurate. We had a car so no issue for us. Hotel could do with a decor update. Neither of these points would put us off staying in this hotel again. It was very clean & staff were lovely.

The pool was fantastic. When the weather is getting up to 35-36degrees the pool is really lovey yo come back to during the hottest part of the day. Set up really well with loungers and lots of shade umbrellas. Rooms was very comfortable with a lovely outdoor area. Very clean and big bed and a fridge that was very handy. Staff were very helpful, one staff member went above and beyond to help up translate some issues we were having with our tent car company. Great location to walk to wineries for tastings and to be able to walk into town for exploring or for meals. We loved our stay. The breakfast was also very good.

Great place near San Gimignano, and very comfortable for a short stay. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Really lovely hotel overall.

The room could use some maintenance, especially the bathroom. It would also be nice if the hotel would offer a shuttle service to and from San Gimignano, since the hotel advise it is not ideal to walk down on foot.
