This is an oasis of relaxation away from the bustle of San Gimignano yet close enough to drive there in 10 minutes. Situated along the via Francigena it’s an ideal stopover for a night, breakfast, coffee or a meal. Family run it’s relaxed, low key, friendly and very comfortable with the amenities you need in summer (A/C, a nice pool, good food in the trattoria on site, mini fridge for your wine and a lovely garden to relax in). If you are looking to decompress from a hectic schedule I would highly recommend this hotel as it has everything you would need. The staff are multi-lingual, helpful and cheerful and make your stay just that much better.

This was the second time we stayed at this property. The staff is outstanding from check-in, to maid service to the in-house restaurant wait staff. They remembered us and were extremely welcoming. We recommend rooms that have balconies as you can sit outside. The property is in an idyllic setting tranquil with lots of wonderful outdoor space and a pool and yet only about 10 minutes away from San Gimignano. We highly recommend their breakfast and their dinners are pretty outstanding no matter what you order. There are lots of wineries to visit nearby and it's a great area for hiking, walks, etc. We will be back again and highly recommend this place.

Between stays in towns/cities we needed somewhere to chill and relax. We got it! Location: Just a few kilometres out of St Gimignano is this fabulous quiet friendly place in beautiful countryside. Via Francigena passes the gate. Room: We had opted for a room with a terrace which was bathed in sunshine Staff: Hotel now run by extended family of the couple who built it. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and staff so helpful especially organising transfer to the train station. Great pool and gardens to relax in. Dinner and breakfast (latter on sunny terrace) both excellent.

The property is located a few kilometers from San Gimignano in the rolling hills. This makes it a great location for accommodations. They have a lovely large covered patio for dining in the evenings. The food was very good. We dined here both nights that we were here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are air conditioned and the property also serves a wonderful breakfast, there is parking on premises, a billiard room, pool, and small bar. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

- We absolutely loved the garden of the hotel. It was gorgeous - The rooms were nice and beds very comfortable - The bathroom was small but sufficient - The drinks in the bar were perfect :) - The breakfast was very good - The surrounding was beautiful. Unfortunately we stayed just one night after our arrival from Corsica and in the morning we continued in our journey home. However, I can suggest this beautiful place for longer stays in Tuscany

The staff was so nice all the time. All of them also speak English very well. They have a billiard pool, ping-pong table, picado, and other games you can play for free. The pool was great. The room had everything we needed. Maybe a little bigger refrigerator would come handy. The location is great so close to San Gimignano. They have a restaurant too and a good one as well. All was perfect.

This hotel is in a great location, very close to San Gimignano in a vineyard area. It has beautiful grounds and a lovely interior. Everything was spotless and well-kept up. This was probably the best in-hotel restaurant that we have been in. The cooking of the main dishes and the fantastic panna cotta dessert were unparalleled. We went to the restaurant a little early since like most restaurants, they only opened at 7:30 PM. They were happy to accommodate us with snacks and introduced us to a local white wine. The price for which by buying the whole bottle was far less than glasses of wine had been on previous nights. They even made excellent adjustments for our vegetarian diet. Our room was equally spotless and essentially silent all night since the hotel is somewhat out in the country. The bathroom had wonderful products. The shower was slightly cramped, but the water was hot and the flow of water was excellent. Free parking was in the lot, immediately adjacent to the hotel and inside the hotel fence which made it feel very secure. the Wi-Fi was relatively strong and had good speed. The breakfast buffet was one of the most impressive that we have had on our trip with a wide variety of pastries, breads, scrambled eggs, and other types of good protein, as well as a variety of yogurts and cereals. The little cappuccino machine was easy to work and the cappuccinos, although not piping hot as we would like them we’re tasty.

There was really nothing significant to complain about. The bed was possibly the firmest that we have had, and was the first one where the large double bed actually had a split down the middle. As most of the rooms where we have slept, there were two extra pillows, which was wonderful for us, but took a small search to discover them. As in all rooms where we have stayed on this trip, there was no English channel on the TV.

This hotel is in a beautiful location with great swimming pool and a great restaurant. Clean and safe. But most important, the staff is all kind and amazing... We loved every minute.

Everything. Very quiet,relaxing area with breathtaking views of olive groves and vineyards. The breakfast is very good with homemade pie and fruit cakes. The food at the restaurant is delicious and fresh. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and caring. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful and relaxing. The pool is clean. Again, the staff friendliness and knowledge on the area of interest made this trip worth taking. Pietro, Michael Angelo, the cook, the maids, the afternoon front desk girl went out of their ways to make my stay wonderful. Thank you to the staff. The olive oil and the wine was to die for. I already shipped 6 bottles of wine and 4 bottles of oil back home. Puerto will hook you with wine tasting right next door 😀. I am already thinking of coming back. I highly recommend this hotel.

I liked everything.

The location is perfect - Close to Siena, Volterra, and San Gimignano. Perfect for day trips. The hotel is very clean and easy to explore. As for the service , the entire staff is excellent. Pietro, the manager was especially helpful and kind to us. The food at the restaurant was fantastic - especially the steak fiorentina !! I can honestly say that it was one of the best hotel experiences ever.
